coatesville gets such a bad rep from places like Downingtown and west chester but it’s actually a pretty nice city. It’s sad how scared corporate companies are of coatesville tho from the moment you get over the first bridge by DQ that takes you into the city you don’t see anymore fast food joints or grocery stores or just even regular modern stores. Something I’d love to see happen to coatesville in the future for sure. If theirs a city that deserves more love it’s coatesville.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think some of it has to do with what Coatesville was like 5-10 years ago, it seems to be better than how I remember it back then. Honestly if you compared 70% of Delco to West Chester and Downington some people may think the same, but to me I don't think it's bad. People do tend to exaggerate stuff like this for some reason but when I did a video in the projects in west chester everyone is in the comments getting pissed off lol

@@goodjawn610 yeah man it’s a lovely city, some bad stuff might happen from time to time but otherwise then that I love coatesville. I went to Scott middle school and coatesville area highschool and I never had one bad problem with this city. It’s just crazy tho man coatesville could have one of the best train stations in the world but no one wants to take a train into coatesville that’s why it just kinda stopped over the past couple of decades. When my dad was young and in his 20’s growing up in coatesville he said it was a ghost town. Now theirs thousands of people so I don’t see why they can’t open up more stores that would create more job opportunities for people in the city. It such a lay low city that not a lot of people in Pennsylvania know about but that’s what makes coatesville the way it is.

I live near West Chester and Downingtown. I've never been to Coatesville. Why won't businesses invest in this area? Is there an issue with crime? That usually elevates the costs ro insure a business.

If u do rhe knowledge the area that youre driving through in the beginning was actually the segregated area of coatesville. Blacks were not allowed up past 10th ave. There was a big riot/rally back in the day and things slowly changed.
Its easy to see the difference in the sides of the town

Good clip brother! I have been on every street in your video, I lived in the Ville for 20 over years and worked there for 45. Make another video when you get time and hit some of the areas that you didn't cover like chestnut st, elmwood gardens, around the steel mill, westend, etc.

Thank you so much my friend, the support means a lot! I was just realizing I missed the entire westend on both vids so I have to go back. Also where is Elmwood Gardens?

@@goodjawn610 under the tunnel at 3rd ave turn right, go up a little bit and turn left, there is a big apartment complex there in the beginning, then as you go up the streets there are a lot of nice newer homes, very quiet section. You went under the tunnel at 4th ave. in one of your videos and turned right, if you had turned left you would see the entrance to Elmwood there too. Thanks again!

Born and raised. Haven’t live there since ‘20 but it’s far from that, there’s been bullshit but it always between the person and who they’re at it with. Not saying that’s good but it’s not big on random acts.
