The allman brothers are probably my faveorite all time band. The intro to this song will give you CHILLS. Greg is on point- both guitars are wailing. Bass line walking tightly around the groove. It’s music for musicians. Thank you very much for posting this. Seeing your reaction is amazing. It literally makes you bite your teeth at the exact same time I do. That’s when you know they did something right. Pure. Soul. Thanks man
Yeah, the same way Jeff Beck can't play a bad solo on his guitar, this band cannot seem to play a song without power washing you with emotion in abundance. World freaking class.
Duane went to Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Al and wanted to be a studio musician. He pitched a tent in the parking lot and just hung around. he got a contract and you should research all the great music he was involved with.
Seeing another person discover the ABB makes me so happy. You have many many great songs to go though. You are just getting started. This is one of the great ones for sure. You hit everything right on the head.
Yesssss!!!! You finally played this!!! Great, best, wonderful reaction! Now try: One WayOut next..keep listening to me Biz..i wont steer you wrong !Lol 💞✌️
Well said my friend 👏 on all accounts. You have to have gone through shit to know shut. And Gregg Allman with his soulful voice along with brother Duane and Dickey Betts on guitar 🎸 amazing and this was their first album
Doesn't get more blusey than this. Deep deep into the blues here. If your ears could taste, I'm quite sure this would be honey. Love the Allmans, what an incredible band.
The Duane Allman led Allman Brothers Band was just EVERYTHING! To name another band other than The Dead in the same breath would just highlight the chasm that exists between them and all the others. These two bands belong on the Mount Rushmore of Rock-n-Roll which should be carved out of the granite & stone found on the exteriors of the buildings where once stood the old Fillmores' - both East & West. That bank in the east village where the Fillmore East once stood? An open, oozing sore of an obscenity!!!
The Allman Bros. Band. No limits to them. People always talk about Duane, and with good reason. But Dickie Betts takes a back seat to no one, including Duane.
@@alrivers2297 Dude, the vast majority of their stuff is jam oriented or outright blues. Where's all this southern rock? They even used to be called The Allman Brothers Blues Band 💙
Thanks for listening to this. I'm 72 and have been a fan since 1970. I love that younger people are listening to these masterpieces.
This was the first time most people ever heard Gregg Allman’s voice with brother Duane killing the lead guitar 🎸
Best Allman brothers song ever.
I prefer Stormy Monday, but this is my next favorite
This is my #1 Allman song. Got pulled on stage to sing this once. Amazing feel here. Going to church.
You should check out the Allman Brothers museum in Macon, GA. They'll actually let you play Duane's gold top guitar. It's a great place to visit
For 50+ years, whenever I wanted to turn someone on to the Brothers, this is what I played for them.
Love the Allman Brothers Band. I have 31 of their albums and actually just started yesterday going thru them in order.
You should easily get 100K views on this reaction. Allman Bros. have a big piece of my heart. So very good.
"Ridiculously good". Amen to that. Hallelujah too. Righteous music. Very very few made it to this level
One of my all time favorite songs . Thanks for reacting to this classic 🔥🔥🔥💯❤️👍👍
MY FAVORITE TRACK by a legendary band!
A dual lead here. Betts, and Allman, 57 gold tops. How bout a consideration for Statesboro blues from the Filmore East live LP. Magnifico!
That was a great reaction to one of my favorite songs from my favorite band. So happy you enjoyed it

I saw the original lineup in concert.
Mesmerizing. So soulful, with that southern rock blast. Perfect combination.

This song somehow kept getting better as time went on. They used to open shows with it and you were immediately pulled in.

Allman Brothers Band check out: Black Hearted Woman, Dreams, Don't Want You No More, Trouble No More, Ain't Wastin' Time No More, etc
💯
Been listening to the Brothers since the early 70s. If you get it you get it.
The greatest Band to come out of America.
Man, I never heard this one before, but it was siiiiiiiick. I definitely need to get into some more Allman Bros. Looks like I’ve been missing out.
This band id crazy good
Moves the soul 😎
The Allman Brothers,
"It Ain't Over Yet"
My fav Allman Brothers song to preform.
This tune is the bomb...perfect in every way!!
Yesssss!!!! You finally played this!!! Great, best, wonderful reaction! Now try: One WayOut next..keep listening to me Biz..i wont steer you wrong !Lol 💞✌️
One of my Favorites. This is a great album. You're gonna love it. Trouble No More is a Muddy Waters Cover.
72 years old, saw them in 71. Painters Mill theater in Owings Mills Md. been to many shows, best live show ever
So much soul and feeling in their music, I play their music so much my wife gets sick of it, something I just don't understand.
They would play from 8 until 11 o'clock with one small break. Their backstage catering list for their concerts was one item: 10 cases of Budweiser.
Thank you for appreciating this music. Mal

Thanks friend, it's been decades since hearing this
It was very cleaver to pick this soulful blues class. Another righteous reaction from our fellow music lover, Biz.
All the band members were under 25 years of age when they performed this magic.....
i miss my anual trips to the beacon. ive seen this band so many times. one of the best

GREAT F#/!%&÷NG REACTION!!
Great song
There's a reason Salomon swim upstream to mate , only the strong survive. Allman brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd can't go wrong with these bands ✌🤘💞
Check out Gregg Allman on live from Back to Macon the song "Queen of Hearts" or "Melissa".
Just think....you've only just begun to dig in to the best. I think you are enjoying this journey already. 😊
Beautiful

Droppin some wisdom there Biz .

Fifty years ago, at 14yrs old, after listening to this record, it was time to put aside the Alice Cooper and Grand Funk albums, lol.

Hello friend! ❤
Hello
🎶🎶☮️💜🎶🎶
See? I Never got why people insist on labeling The Allman Bros. a southern rock band?! They were a Blues Band...all day long! Yes?
Can't they be both?
@@alrivers2297 Dude, the vast majority of their stuff is jam oriented or outright blues. Where's all this southern rock? They even used to be called The Allman Brothers Blues Band 💙
@@blueyzblue6391 I do think they are a form of rock as well. Rock has many different styles.
Hey biz Mets what's cracking ma jacking
Calm seas don't make good sailors
It's one of those miracles in life. These players and songwriters coming together has to be fate.
We peaked in the early 70s.
