    I bought 'The End' a few months back & I love it. My only complaint is that I wished it also had the Flashback system included as well, so as to make it a nice 2 phase routine. (1st phase-up close, remember one of the words at the top of the page / 2nd phase-far away, take the book & stand over there & think of 'any' word)

      Yeah I hear you. Frankenstein by Kaleb Wade is really good for that. He incorporated the flashback system but made it more deceptive so there is no way for anyone to ever discover the flashback method.

      @@ChrisEdwardsMagic Too funny, as I just performed Dracula (dressed as Count Ricula) about 1.5 weeks ago, at our local SAM meeting. I put a small cheat sheet in a mini coffin that held my Sharpie.

    Great review! I love this book test. I also might get it. Frankenstein is my favorite, but this is worth having too.

      It’s great but I don’t know if it’s better. No repeat pages in this one.

    Hey Chris,
    Thanks for your review and wanna ask you some questions.
    Do you know it can mix with any other book like Zandman / CodyFisher comedy so it can make it as Routine / Act but not single trick?
    I also have Frankenstein, but I am looking for a bigger book work for Parlour / Stage, do you think The End (last-letter long word) better than Moab or (Alchemy) in Frankenstein or any comparison?
    For Frankenstein / Moab / Zandman, it can be a 2-3phase routine, and The End just once, do you consider it’s a negative? When you pull out a book and just for a mind-reading routine, will it fall to a justification why you pull out a book but not just think of a 10letters word? And for a show / gig aspect, do one time of applause not good as 3times applause?
    Thanks for your time and can’t wait for your reply.

      Hey there! Thanks for the comment but unfortunately I won’t be a big help here I’m sorry. I never purchased the MOAB because I just haven’t been able to make that investment yet. I’m not sure if the book test can be mixed with any other books. With The End, I think as much as I love it, it’s likely only a one phase routine and you’ll only want to do it once for the same audience. Because ultimately you’re going to be asking the same question to get your info and while doing it once works out amazingly; doing it twice would definitely not be good.

    Great review. I like book tests. How many words do you need to remember if you want to do so? Isn't this one of those effects that are designed more to impress magicians than lay people? A spec doesn't really care how you come to the end as long it seems to be impossible.

    • @ChrisEdwardsMagic
      @ChrisEdwardsMagic  Год назад

      18 but it’s really easy to remember them all because of the way Angelo has put it together. And no necessarily. I was talking with Angelo about this a bit too. As humans we are conditioned to understand abbreviations and initials and what not. If you’re asking for the first letter of the word, it’s often assumed that that can be a way of coming up with the word. With this method you don’t ask for the first letter. What you do ask for I wouldn’t even consider phishing because of what happens next.

      @MagicInventor thank you! I think I was forgetting to count the one word that is the exception to the principle haha. I never needed to memorize it because of that.
