@@johnoakleymusic I'd go for the same one in the video (which was the reason I'm here in the first place haha). As for the pickups I'll upgrade the bridge pickup with the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails first. As for the middle and neck pickups, probably SSL1s or something similar.
@@mel04083 some great choices there to be fair. I considered turning mine into an HSS but wanted a Knopfler style one. Need another Strat in HSS now 🤣it’s never ending this guitar lark
Great video, very clearly explained. I just ordered the same tremolo assembly for my candy apple red Player Series Stratocaster (exactly the same as yours). Did you notice any difference in tone or sustain after the upgrade? Thanks!
thank you thats very kind. Yeah it's definitely better sustain, hard to quantify but it's there. Feels much nicer for palm mutes and much prefer the term arm rather than screw in too. dont forget to subscribe buddy for more guitar related content :)

Is the string spacing the same as the original bridge.
