It makes you wonder when you watch that Axial Flow crawling along with the 60ft front, by the time you take into account the auger hanging all the way out the back waiting to be wiped off on a tree, the chaser bin 6 inches from the front while unloading and all that cutter bar to keep an eye on whether you’d be better off with a 35ft front and going twice as fast.
Normally pace is better then that, however this season a lot of crop had lodged (fallen flat on the ground) so they were running low to the ground with crop lifters. Believe throughput was around that 65t and hour.
