Looking forward to see an in-depth review of the platform. Already have sticks and am waiting for your review before I pull the trigger on a platform. Between it and the fix. Keep it up!
I was also at the expo and got to see everything first hand. It is expensive but very well built. I purchased the sticks and the rzr magnum platform at the show. It was exactly what i was looking for in a new saddle set up. Have the saddle, 2 aiders and there version of the knee pad on order. Looking forward to being in and all michigan company set-up this fall.
Absolutely take it apart! lol. The engineer in me wants to see it. I bet that the inner amsteel safety feature is a line of rope with 2 loops at the ends that the bolts go through and secure.
I’m not going to lie, I have had no idea about these sticks coming out. For the first 4 minutes I was thinking “I like the design but darn these are short” and BAM, no longer short lol. Actually made me tilt my head and laugh 😂. Great video as always.
Well, your pure excitement about the aiders sold me and I just bought 2. Since you said they could be used on any double step stick. I'm using the XOP Ultra double step mini sticks. If you want, I'll let you know how they work.
Nice review as always!! Looking at those sticks and platform, you could clearly tell these guys were quietly doing their homework. They put out quality workmanship that clearly stands out and definitely puts them on the radar against other top companies.
The bottom of the stand offs look exactly like EWO stand offs. Which I love. The step looks like it is angled and so should give more foot room. You will have to show measurements when attached to tree. This stuff looks great. The platform itself looks like it has an angle like edge is thinner than back. The way it folds down flat looks really nice have to show thickness along with all measurements especially with your boots on them in tree. Thanks for making us aware of great stuff again.
Yeah man! Unreal equipment coming out from these guys, I just dropped a new episode on the sticks and showed them next to some different double step sticks on the market.
Great look to your video! Not sure if you got a new camera/lens set up but it looks good! Also, bummed that I didn’t run in to you at the show. I was there Friday and Saturday but couldn’t make it out Sunday. Love your stuff! Keep it up!
@MichiganGreatOutdoors I agree but the platform has the option. But there is lots of companies that use ropes for attachments. Thanks for the reply though 👍
I would love to see the stand-off distance. Maybe compare them to the Tethrd one sticks and/or other high end sticks. I would also be interested if you stepped on that bottom step and purposefully pulled it lower than the the locked position with the pins to see what would happen.
I already filmed the stand off vrs beast, lwcg dubs, and eows and xop x2s today. Stick video will drop next. Ill try and re-create that other scenario as well.
Great video man. Would love to see a height test w sticks n aiders. Also compare platform to other platforms. By chance did you order caddle and kneepad/back band
Those aiders are amazing Have a set of four gen 3 tethrd one sticks that have held up to a ton of abuse over last season and practice runs this summer. would like to add a couple of those aiders to the bottom two thanks for the quality content as usual
Was hoping beast gear would drop a standard platform soon but i can never get a answer on if they will. Next best thing to me seemed like one of the latitude platforms but now this looks interesting. How do you feel they compare?
So I had actually planned on reviewing them and after the invader debacle I decided I was done reviewing XOP stuff on my channel. I do have several x2 sticks in my possession. Maybe I'll do it one day.... I will say it's not a priority for me right now.
Gotta start saving pennies for that platform at the very least.... 3:45 noise* The people who will complain are the same idiots that cannot move their gun's safety to the "fire" position without a loud "CLICK!!".... I swear.... I just saw a video where a guy did that.... And he was amazed the deer hear it and spooked...
Those sticks are a hard pass for me. Even if they were a pack of four for 100 bucks, still not interested. The platform is pretty sweet, I will definitely be looking into getting one of those.
I'll pass cool innovation tho but I'll stick with no moving parts and my 3 step backwoods aiders I learned my lesson with lone wolf sticks constantly loosening up over time very annoying and just something else to fidget with and cause unnecessary problems my buddy is returning his platform from what I understand it doesnt bite on small/leaning trees very well with not having any kind batwing or offset bracket so ur kinda stuck to a straight trunk tree
Thanks for the feedback Jeff. That totally makes sense with it only having 2 teeth to bite there the tree. Ill have to check that out on upcoming episodes....
Yeah, I think I actually failed to mention this. But Im filming the stick review right now and I talk about it a bunch. Its definitely strange to see the Chinese making something so nice.....
Chinese can make good stuff if your willing to pay for it. 95 percent of the stuff we use everyday is China. Most company's just want to make money and get a product made on the cheaper side but i feel like this is a good example of what can come out of China if people really wanted products to be better. I'm all for usa made but that's almost a thing of the past now.
Me and my buddy went to the Mobile Hunters expo in Kalamazoo on that Friday that was before they dropped the aiders my buddy tried it out he said it was a game changer He's more into the saddle game then me since I'm a bigger guy I am not used to it I plan on getting into it I wanted to try the JX3 but they weren't there but I talked to a couple people there about it I talked to the beast guys have them sign a hat and tried the new tether saddle I can't wait to go there next year though that's probably when I'm going to make my decision
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors I just got the fix last month. I love new gear. And this stand really is the best looking one in the market. But the fix really is bomb proof. I’m looking forward to hearing your reviews on it. Thanks for doing it. I may run the fox this season. Give it a fair chance. Love my .5 more than anything lwcg is awesome. Hunt arsenal sticks I’m not so sure about.
platform looks awesome. the sticks are a cool idea but what happens when you do a sit all day in cold not so good weather. then they freeze and you have to smack them together to free them up, not to mention the dirt and debris. like i said nice platform awesome looking, but there is nothing that will make me replace my LWCG double steps. love your videos man!!
Good question! this is all things that is gonna have to wait until deer season. It's hard to torture test them when its 90 out.... Stay tuned !! It's coming in a few months!! LWCG is the top dog in my opinion. There products speak for them selves.
Looking forward to see an in-depth review of the platform. Already have sticks and am waiting for your review before I pull the trigger on a platform. Between it and the fix. Keep it up!
Hoping to get it done this weekend
Cool. Cant wait to see your reviews.I got my order in for a set of sticks , aider, and the magnum platform.

Yeah, my guess is its a pretty simple design inside.
Great work. Very thorough and good video details. Keep it up.
Thank you!!
Prob one the most gnarly looking pieces of gear I have seen!
I agree, super impressive first drop of gear! Im told there will be more!
Love this time of year to see all the new gear reviews! I hope you keep it up 👍 thanks
More to come! Thanks Tyler!!

Nice review as always!! Looking at those sticks and platform, you could clearly tell these guys were quietly doing their homework. They put out quality workmanship that clearly stands out and definitely puts them on the radar against other top companies.
No doubt! I couldn't believe they dropped this line of gear.

I wonder about dirt and various other shit getting between the tubes. How is the standoff distance from the tree to the step?
I was worried about that as well but I have not had any issues with dirt or ice.
That platform looks sweet very tempting
Its cool for sure, ill have a detailed review on it soon
I’m curious what size shoe you wear? I currently hunt with a Trophyline Mission but wondering if the regular RZR has enough room.
Size 12 boots
Really like those sticks and aider.
Its definitely different for sure!!
Nice! Be curious to hear your thoughts on Lattitudes sticks. Got mine the other day and am impressed. I'm not a small guy and they seem real solid.
Will do! Im still waiting on my order

Dang man I was there Saturday!! Thanks, I got a new setup 🤙🤙
Can we get an in depth review of the platform? Thanks for the content brother!
Sorry for the delay, I posted 2 videos on the RZR platforms, they are up on the channel now.
Seen these in Kalamazoo they look nice, love the platform but not at the 280 they want for it.
Yeah, its an ultra expensive platform
I wish they would've made the stick with the versa button option also like the platform
Its my understanding they wanted to do something different with the sticks. They said they didnt wanna just copy everyone else.

Yes, havent shipped yet

@@MichiganGreatOutdoors I sure did yesterday lol
Love the reviews dude, huge help forsure. Keep it going brother! Earned a sub from me!
Thanks Brad!!!
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors no problem! did you ever do a review on the actual platform for the rzr from hunt arsenal?
Daaaaang ive been working on the same idea about extending the stick. Oh well throw that drawing away now 😂
Go for it! We need more options!!!
Was hoping beast gear would drop a standard platform soon but i can never get a answer on if they will. Next best thing to me seemed like one of the latitude platforms but now this looks interesting. How do you feel they compare?
Could you possibly do a review on those XOP X2 Sticks?
So I had actually planned on reviewing them and after the invader debacle I decided I was done reviewing XOP stuff on my channel. I do have several x2 sticks in my possession. Maybe I'll do it one day.... I will say it's not a priority for me right now.
How much did the rzr weigh?
2.3 lbs
@MichiganGreatOutdoors would you go with the rzr platform or the latitude x wing?
I dont know why I said that the rzr is 2.3lbs. My bad. I think both would serve you well. Rzr is gonna be a little easier on the feet.
Okay awesome thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, you can be slow and methodical and quiet too. Just takes practice
How do they stack?
Pretty good. Have a video coming soon on them.
I’m sure you know by now but they did fix the sewn eye you were concerned with
I did not know that. Thanks for sharing
I saw that rzr platform and the trophy line onxy. Had a hard time deciding between the 2. Ended up with the onyx.
Sorry i missed ya in the zoo!
Bummer I missed you as well! Man that Onyx is hard to beat as well. I have one and its great.
I don't blame you, that aider is the most exciting part of the video. Can they be used on any other brand of stick?
Any double step stick u can use them on.
Your new camera set up and quality looks great! Which camera did you end up going with?
Thanks Man! Sony a7
Great camera! I have the a6400 now eyeing the a6700 that was just released.
Been waiting on this just bought the lwcg ambush but want this
Yeah man, its nice stuff!!

You would think that they would be more affordable due to the Chinese machining and such.

Are you saying if I make a RUclips channel I can tell my wife "I have to have it"?
Absolutely!! Sometimes she will even say she needs it too!!! Hahahahha
Is this platform worth replacing the lone wolf fix?
Hard to tell yet. I will be testing it for the next few days. Not having a full batwing bracket worrys me but I need to test it more.
