    girl i am proud of you for not giving up. nothing is stressful an depressing than trying to get into medicine. I love the fact that SA has 10 options of schools to study medicine from. In Namibia we have 1 school of medicine and mind you they only take like 70 students per year and thats the whole country. so you can image the stress and pressure.

    • @BecomingDrKim
      @BecomingDrKim  Год назад +2

      Thank you so much , and Im gad it did☺
      I think the application process is not that long, as long as you have all the necessary requirements, documents, and pay your application fee, the long part is waiting for a response but most universities in zambia don't receive as many applications as those in south africa mainly because zambias population as a country is not that much when compared to south africa so they don't take that long to respond, and they do respond to emails so that made the process a lot better

Also do you mind sharing the names of these Varsities(if that's okay with you of course) like the ones you mentioned from Turkey, Dubai, Namibia, China, Zambia. Yk I'm just really glad I found your video because my grade 11 results are not looking so clean and please also tell me what did you do different in your matric year that had you having 6 distinctions in your finals. Like maybe a list of those universities you've mentioned if it's not too much of a hassle) would be so much appreciated

    Hi there , I loved your video❤ I need some advice though , so I recently got accepted into medicine at Walter sisulu university but I am also accepted in my hometown at nmu for pharmacy , I have absolutely no idea what to do , bc I am afraid for my safety if I do choose medicine at Walter sisulu but then again I don’t want to take pharmacy and live with the regret of not choosing medicine… what would you recommend 😭

    • @BecomingDrKim
      @BecomingDrKim  Год назад +1

      Wow !!! Congratulations to you that’s huge!!
      My advice is simple, what do you want to do ? Forget about why could go wrong , or what other people want or what would they like you to do. Deep down I have a feeling you know what you want to do but there’s something holding you back , whether it’s fear idk. But just know that whatever you choose is most likely something you are going to do for the rest of your life - would you rather be a doctor or a pharmacist?
      When I’m having a hard time making a decision between two things , I always throw a coin in the air (heads being option 1 and tail being option 2) just when the coin is in the air before it lands on my hands there’s something I’m hoping already hoping for and that’s how I know wat I really want / you should give it a try

    Hi I'm currently a year 10 student I have a couple of question. At the moment I'm getting mostly 60s a couple of 70s and 80s only for easy subjects like EGD and L.O would you say I need to maintain these or improve much more, secondly if I do extremely well for my grade 11 but then In matric I go back to getting my old marks will I still be accepted in South Africa and lastly were you always the top student or was it only in matric that you worked extremely and what was your mark comparison like from year 10 to 11,

    • @BecomingDrKim
      @BecomingDrKim  Год назад +3

      Hey, never relax because you think you getting good grades , coz for every 80 you have there's someone who's getting an 85 and I'm sure you know that when it comes to medicine it is extremely competitive so just always do your best and if you improve that's good if u don't you try again- as long as you do your best and put in your all.
      Your Grade 11 results give you provisional acceptance , so if you get accepted with your grade 11 results, the grade 12 results then determine where you are on the list of students that were provisionally accepted, so it all depends on the competition that year you may get accepted even though your grade 12 is lower than grade 11 but it mustn't be too low like in the 60s or 80s, it must be That good kind of low
      And yes I had been one of the top students since grade 3
      My marks from grade 10 to 11 there was a huge improvement in most subjects except for maths and physics

    How do you apply in international universities though I mean some of us don't have passports.

    • @BecomingDrKim
      @BecomingDrKim  7 месяцев назад +1

      Most universities have a online portal where you apply and they guide you , you might not need a passport to apply but if they accept you you will need a passport to leave the country you in and get into the country where you want to study , so you can just apply for one just in case

    • @BecomingDrKim

      Yes I had a level six in maths , that’s the only subject I couldn’t get a distinction in in - I had 76% in grade 12 so most definitely!
