One of the reasons it's so expensive and looks so good is that it's all shot on 35mm film - that stuff costs. I think I mentioned the retro, jazzy feel of the song, but I forgot that in the video, the car is old, the set is old, the hotel is old, the fashion has a retro feel as well. Korean people have pointed out that the lyrics are in an old Korean poetic style and that the song is "trot" - an older Korean style. This is very Jisoo, since I noticed early that she's a Korean girl through and through, and she'd want to do something like this. They wanted "All Eyes On Me" to be the title track but she insisted on "Flower". This song, the choreo, all of it, really suit her style. People who expected "more" don't understand who she is.
Haters gonna hate, but her results have shut them up, and I couldn't be happier for her.
And what amaze me more she's one of the creative director aside from Teddy. She's so queen

I think that Jisoo really popped off in her solo, this dance performance in particular left me shocked because just look at her facial expressions during this whole thing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her this confident and charismatic, this solo is really brining out the best of her
Like, right? She's going to be strong in some parts and she'll be soft when it's a soft part. She has a stage presence and she's a great performer with expressive facial expression that haters doesn't admit.

i'am so happy for her as expected she keep breaking records like all the BP members during they're solo début . today she win her first music show after only 5 days that make her the fastest female idol tied with Solar to win a music show .she also break 5 records and became the first korean female soloist to sales more than 1million albums in only 5 days , fastest korean act to sale 1 million album , most pre order sales for a korean female act , most album sales in 1day , in 1 week for a female etc... . she also did very great on streaming platform and on global and national chart .
Jisoo didn’t get overseas promotion. So YG spent those savings into making her videos reflect her aura and personality.
Dior also sponsored her solo activities so props to them aswell for treating their princess 🌹
Yg basically sucks in promoting jisoo their is nothing to do overseas the reason yg say the production cost was big its because of dior basically thanks to jisoo .

yes i was sur^prise when they said than that will be the most expensive MV because i didn't see that on screen so i think you're right it's about her dress and her jewelry all DIOR and CARTIER i suppose . becausethe MV himself didn't have lot of props or expensive special effect or set .
The set is special. The MV was filmed in Los Angeles at Universal Studios. So they pay for that . Bring the dancer and a great staff to USA , format Film. All that is expensive. The MV express luxury. What do you want? See the money?
@@carmenacosta5420 We all know she filmed in L.A but the agency didn't build the set it's been there for decades. as you said they just had to pay the studio to be allowed to film there. so my question is why is this MV more expensive than the others? I work for a Korean TV channel JTBC and we have filmed scenes in the USA in prestigious studios and if indeed the authorizations are hard to obtain, the fact of filming there is not so expensive. what I mean is that what was expensive is indeed the general expenses (travel, accommodation for the crew, food, and costumes) but the MV itself is not expensive because YG has not built anything as they usually do. thought to see actually converted, in accessory, set, special effect etc..
