+Martin Andrew Pretty sure eminem probably had a year or two or more of battling in detroit before this battle. There's a video of a battle from early 96' with eminem and kuvina. Plus eminem had two projects already, infinite and the slim shady ep. so he definitely wasn't an amateur. this was eminem's peak in terms of battling. After this he didn't do much battling except the rap olympics, which is where someone sent dr. dre his slim shady ep. But you do have a point, people knew who Juice was and that gave hime a slight advantage. But even today, I don't know if eminem would win in this format. Unless he did what he did in this battle (coming with prewritten), it's up in the air.
@IgniTeKHD The point is that when he said that some of the lyrics showed up in his songs, those were prewritten. What most battlers do is occasionally mix in free lyrics about the other's current appearance or last verse, but have stockpiled a bunch of lines for pretty much every possible instance.
Em lost because he tried to freestyle at the beginning & then when he realise the other guy came with written shit he switched to his written material but it wass to late.
Oh absolutely. As a huge Em fan, I agree with this. Em is not a great 'off the top' freestyler. He won most of his battles by mixing in brilliant written punchlines with occasional on-the-spot ideas. However, there is one 'off the top' freestyle Em did where Paul Rosenberg keeps throwing him words at random and he runs with them, which is incredible, and the best 'off the top' test / freestyle I've ever heard. But in general, he can be awful at it. Em is a writer. As a writer, he's the GOAT.
nope, Eminem vs MC Supernatural would definitely be one of the greatest freestyle battles ever, considering the fact that he's one of the greatest freestylers to walk this earth
This is what Juice does. Eminem got his start battling but he's more of an all around MC than just a battler. There's a reason Juice and Supernatural and Eyedea never made a good album. They can only battle, doing punchlines. They can't create a character like Slim Shady or draw mental images like Nas.
I think em was in this final and had used his best material to get there and that's why there wasnt the same energy when he was in the final as in the other battles leading to this
Eminem may have lost the battle but he won the war. Look at Eminem's career and Juice's, Eminem is better rapper OVERALL and if they were to battle again Eminem would win for sure. No doubt
That's because Juice chose not to sell his soul to the devil. Eminem makes commercial cRap. The only people that even care to listen to his music are ratchet teens and adults in their mid 30's, with kids. Not much of a great fan base. I'm pretty sure Juice didn't want people telling him how to play his music, and what to do. Sometimes all the money in the world is nothing compared to being yourself.
He wouldn't win. But does it matter? He has a trillion dollars and he's friends with Dr Dre. This guy Juice is probably working at Target right now or something.
EmaN Eminem was just more marketable. He was around the time when white parents where marching to get albums pulled off stores making marilyn manson a household name, dre knew he could move albums because white parents would be afraid that eminem would get their kids listening to worse music from black rappers. Plain and simple. Back then white people pretty much thought only black people listen to black rappers, plus whites make up 60% of america and black people less than 20%
stop sellin' lies,Em had pre-written shit came ouf of his albums,Eminem flow and spelling sucks except of the flow he had on the OGC beat, otherwise he had no rhythm to flow, Juice was freestyling at all time, flowing and punchline Eminem... when y'all be claiming that Eminem won the war since lost a battle because of a career result, you forget smth,Juice has a grear career in UNDERGROUND STAGE,mixtapes music freestyles. Eminem started as underground dawg but he took the decision to change stage and Dr Dre helped him be famous and commercial, after 1997 till 2000 bout,Eminem hitted Grammys MtV and more shitty channels to get views money and fame, instead of Juice Carreer was still and its still underground but dope and great. so don't compare and mix underground with commercial shit, those are different ways.Juice won the respect of battle scene freestyle scene and underground scene thats a fact thats a career,Eminem he lost battles underground scene and choosed to follow hall of fame shit to be an icon for kids that want a singer immitation,y'all better get along with that and think it better, peace
@patriots8001 Actually, Eminem admitted that that line wasn't off the top in a Time Out interview. In fact, he also says something along the lines of, "I don't really remember, I think we kept tying so they cut off our mics."
not even close. juice to this day would smoke eminem at any moment. Eminem will write a much better song to make millions more dollars though. So guess who's talent I'd rather have? ...Eminems. duh
...lol, what's really hilarious about what you said was that half the shit that Em spit was prewritten garbage from his mix tapes, much of it was even on his LP. And what's funny is that HE was the one saying "that was pretty good for some written shit..." to Juice, like WTF??? You don't cheat and call the other person a cheater, that's laughable. ANyways, any true freestylers like Eyedea, Thesaurus, Illmac, Nocando, etc. would destroy BOTH of them like it was childs play, they were kind of trash back in the day to be honest.
u are correct, he had the incredible versatility to up his game exponentially when he faced someone doing better, the other battles he just didn't try.. and still destroyed!
oh and if you em fans dont believe me simply look up "eyedea vs mic T" on youtube or just one of his late night hype freestyles, blaze battles, scribble jam battles, etc. not that eminem was bad but eyedea was one of the greatest off the top rappers, from what i believe was due to his insomnia unfortunately
There's a reason why ems the king Because when he lost this battle it messed up his manhood that's what he said anyway. He didn't choose but made a point to not loose again
Look him up on youtube. He was a member from the Rhymesayers Crew. One of the best if not the best freestylers out there. Check his freestyles. ..If you're not being sarcastic.
Anyone who says em got wrecked, you don't know hip-hop, and you especially don't know shit about Rap Battles. The key to battling is freestyling, and bringing some written shit, everyone who battles does that; and if you think differently you dont know battling. Some people like juice are different, he can genuinly come off the top with the dopest shit you've ever heard. like the budweiser line, and he freestyled 2 verses on his track "freestyle or written"? But em sucked the 1st round, and killed the rest. His iine from the EP is dope as fuck, why wouldn't em use "u wouldn't sell 2 copies if you pressed a double album"? Em was on point, stayed on rythym, and made 3rd place. he was clearly a stand out MC at scribble jam, the croud adn judges thought that. and imagine hearing this dude for the 1st time at scribble jam, you'd be like, "wow this dude's sick". So em did well adn if you think otherwise, learn some shit about hip-hop, better yet actually battle somone. my boys and I battle eachother all the time. we come off the top, and hit hard with some written shit we never show eachother. he battled juice for 7 rounds, every other battle at scribble jam seems to last for like 4......
He lasted 7 rounds with Juice, made 3rd place, and this was before anyone knew who he was. not gonna say anything else cuz i bet your the type of person to just talk shit for the sake of talkin shit. pce......and the culture is HIP-HOP by the way. anyone can rap
Dumbass it was written he used lines from Infinite which was recorded ('95-'96) AND The Slim Shady Ep recorded ('96-'97) scribble jam came out 1997, AND EMINEM HAD THA NERVE TO SAY "THAT WAS FRESH FOR SOME WRITTEN SHIT" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
@RFSluggie theres a rumor that the footage actually exists....eminem vs eyedea....and no im not talking about it being a live version of the big shot by eyedea back in the kazaa downloading days haha
freestyling is like wrestling its fake. dont know why people think anybody in a rap battle ever spits off the top you would get murked you better come prepared with your shit memorized.
VjgProp not true. Juice is off-the-top. There are still freestyle (actual no written get booed off stage 8 mile shit) battles in Chicago. Come out sometime.
A lot of rappers rap real freestyle, MC juice is one of them. The best one I think is supernatural, look up his freestyles where he's given random words to rap about while he's freestyling.
Juice is consistent in the sense of attacking Eminem with lines: ie rhymes that diminish his opponents character from the perspective of the audience. Also the breakdown of Budweiser was phenomenal. On the other hand, Eminem gravitated toward bolstering himself in the beginning, not attacking Juice but simply rattling of some sub par rhymes that transition into lines that strike like snake venom. Example, ‘you wouldn’t sell two copies if you pressed a double album’. Overall Juice clearly won but Eminem got to highlight his prodigious potential hence the rest is history.
You couldnt get the fans to throw up their hands if they swallowed their fingers, that line alone better than what ever JUICE said, it has like 3 or 4 different meanings.
It depends on how you look at it. Eminem came off the top, true Freestyle, and dude had some pre-written shit. So if this is a Freestyle battle then dude should be disqualified. As far as Em losing.. I can't tell. His fame and bank account say differently.
I can tell you don't know shit cause he brought his slim shady ep to scribble jam and traded demos with doseone and most of his lines were on his tape... and it shouldn't be about tha money it should be about tha hio hop
Dan Branch Em didnt freestyle of the dome. He even admit he always used pre writtens lines. Juice freestyled of the dome. I can tell the difference, i've won 23 freestyle battle tournaments like this trough the Netherlands and Belgium. I can also hear when MC's wrote their lines.

he's one of the G.O.A.T. Eminem is still rapping to this day and releasing new shit. so many people now days who consider themselves rap fans try be like awh yea eminem is good but hes not that great, they all say it so sound anti mainstream but dude eminem is absolutely amazing with his lyricism.
Damn eminem got murked. Juice smoked him. Tonedeff, Eyedea, and Brother ali would murder em in this format.
Yeah, that's what Eminem nut swingers say...
+Martin Andrew actually juice will still serve him his flow is...... juice getting poured in a cup em is still the man bruh 💪
Eyedea would've murdered eminem in ANY format.
Landover Roc FACTS!!
I heard that when it was released! Catch up! But you know your stuff! Much Props!
What's the star of david doing there?
@IgniTeKHD The point is that when he said that some of the lyrics showed up in his songs, those were prewritten. What most battlers do is occasionally mix in free lyrics about the other's current appearance or last verse, but have stockpiled a bunch of lines for pretty much every possible instance.
Em lost because he tried to freestyle at the beginning & then when he realise the other guy came with written shit he switched to his written material but it wass to late.
you have no Eyedea what you're talking about.
Juice just sounds written, but its all improv man. There is a reason he is considered one of the best.
Juice dosent write his battles
Jose Hyland His LP was in '99 bruh and prove that Em used lines from his Infinite album then
Infinite was like a year before Scribble Jam so it's obvious he used writtens
he used lines from his infinite record from 1996, he called out juice for pre writtens and used pre writtens
eminem lost some rap battles...............so?
Jordan Robinson he actually never won a complete tournament.
MCinsayno you obviously haven't seen 8 Mile. /s
george_was_ curious 8 mile was a MOVIE. It was fictional... smh
MCinsayno lmao I know. (/s means sarcasm)
Jordan Robinson Eminem should of bet juice he choked one round so what, he absolutely DESTROYED Juice every other one, judges dumb ass fuck
As a writer, he's the GOAT.
i cant hear shit
That's the other place i heard it. Good shit! I was sitting around dying trying to figure out where else i heard that.
A lot of what Eminem said made no sense, but his flow was so good it sounded good anyway.
he shit made no sense he was rhyming words
@Edward chap I'm with you bro
Doesn’t matter if lost this battle, he won in the long run by becoming the highest selling rapper of all time
Eyedea kills way harder wheres em vs eye
Love Em, and people say this final was rigged but it sounded like Juice got the better of it here to me
eminem just had a bad day, kim probably flipped at him before the stage battle.
You wouldn't sell two copies if you pressed a double album....SO good!!
honestly lol I would have signed juice he has some good flow
And he would've flopped. Flows are really are a very basic talent for rappers
nope, Eminem vs MC Supernatural would definitely be one of the greatest freestyle battles ever, considering the fact that he's one of the greatest freestylers to walk this earth
Are we just going to ignore that Juice was holding a budweiser and he freestyled using it?

Juice crushed em with finesse
not crushed, Eminem has developed a lot since then, i would give a conclusion after rematch
@Slip1insider This isn't the rap Olympics, it's scribble jam. Eminem came in second in both rap olympics and scribble jam.
mc juice killed him
gameverslaafde12 Who's Juice ?
not killed, Eminem has developed a lot since then, REMATCH
No
Sorry this is the first time ive heard of juice... i dont think so
@@harrytaylormartialarts where has Eminem developed in the battle arena?
Eminem was freestyling and recycling. "wouldnt throw up their hands if they swallowed their fingers" line was from 313 on Infinite.
This is what Juice does. Eminem got his start battling but he's more of an all around MC than just a battler. There's a reason Juice and Supernatural and Eyedea never made a good album. They can only battle, doing punchlines. They can't create a character like Slim Shady or draw mental images like Nas.
I don't know man, First Born is a stroke of genius.
Kole Nelson true, thats the only album of his i liked tho. i must admit i fuckin loved that album
Eyedea made a number of good albums you steaming pleb
Pueininog 1 is a number i guess
Jose Hyland And Supernatural murdered Juice...what's your point?
Damn, Juice is mad clever. Em was having trouble rapping to the beat. Too bad Juice didn't get signed.... :(
Eminem was wack AF in this battle.
the first round yeah, but 2 and 3 were his. He should have won.
I think em was in this final and had used his best material to get there and that's why there wasnt the same energy when he was in the final as in the other battles leading to this
Juice won haha but this shit is gold. Em's style is so original.
So is juice supposed to be poppa doc?
juice actually spits like that without pre-writtens.
This guy Juice is probably working at Target right now or something.
lol
EmaN Eminem was just more marketable. He was around the time when white parents where marching to get albums pulled off stores making marilyn manson a household name, dre knew he could move albums because white parents would be afraid that eminem would get their kids listening to worse music from black rappers. Plain and simple. Back then white people pretty much thought only black people listen to black rappers, plus whites make up 60% of america and black people less than 20%
+filipinobean
Let Them know
Grown men talking.
"you wouldnt sell 2 copys if you pressed a double album" was a line in just dont give a fuck aswell
stop sellin' lies,Em had pre-written shit came ouf of his albums,Eminem flow and spelling sucks except of the flow he had on the OGC beat, otherwise he had no rhythm to flow,
Juice was freestyling at all time, flowing and punchline Eminem...
when y'all be claiming that Eminem won the war since lost a battle because of a career result, you forget smth,Juice has a grear career in UNDERGROUND STAGE,mixtapes music freestyles.
Eminem started as underground dawg but he took the decision to change stage and Dr Dre helped him be famous and commercial, after 1997 till 2000 bout,Eminem hitted Grammys MtV and more shitty channels to get views money and fame,
instead of Juice Carreer was still and its still underground but dope and great.
so don't compare and mix underground with commercial shit, those are different ways.Juice won the respect of battle scene freestyle scene and underground scene thats a fact thats a career,Eminem he lost battles underground scene and choosed to follow hall of fame shit to be an icon for kids that want a singer immitation,y'all better get along with that and think it better, peace
@ColdVolcano22 This rap battle happened before the song "Just dont give a fuck" came out if you were referring to that.
Both were using written lines, Juice called Em my brotha, nigga and other terms he would use for a fellow black man.
MegaMoose1989 or he was just calling him nigga and brother? just because Eminem was white doesn't mean they have to acknowledge it.
the J U Ice is black?
@patriots8001 Actually, Eminem admitted that that line wasn't off the top in a Time Out interview. In fact, he also says something along the lines of, "I don't really remember, I think we kept tying so they cut off our mics."
Eminem may have lost but he has had better freestyles thn juice will ever have
Hell naw.
suaved L
not even close. juice to this day would smoke eminem at any moment.
ANyways, any true freestylers like Eyedea, Thesaurus, Illmac, Nocando, etc. would destroy BOTH of them like it was childs play, they were kind of trash back in the day to be honest.
nah check this out dude ruclips.net/video/0awkOKPmvOw/видео.html
u are correct, he had the incredible versatility to up his game exponentially when he faced someone doing better, the other battles he just didn't try.. and still destroyed!
both are over rated. we all know why em REALLY became as famous as he did
oh and if you em fans dont believe me simply look up "eyedea vs mic T" on youtube or just one of his late night hype freestyles, blaze battles, scribble jam battles, etc. not that eminem was bad but eyedea was one of the greatest off the top rappers, from what i believe was due to his insomnia unfortunately
There's a reason why ems the king
Because when he lost this battle it messed up his manhood that's what he said anyway.
He didn't choose but made a point to not loose again
*lose*
He lost the same year in the Rap Olympics finals to Otherwize. I actually thought em was better at the rap olympics than he was in this battle too.
@@seanconnell3414 He Was Better He Got Alot Better Over The Years
One of the best freestyle line ever ''B*tch U Do What Ever I Say Every Rip'' Peace 4 to 9 ELEMENTS.
Just in,
Juice's verses were pre-written from Eminem himself!! 😋
🐐 for life!!

@RFSluggie theres a rumor that the footage actually exists....eminem vs eyedea....and no im not talking about it being a live version of the big shot by eyedea back in the kazaa downloading days haha
freestyling is like wrestling its fake. dont know why people think anybody in a rap battle ever spits off the top you would get murked you better come prepared with your shit memorized.
yeah liken Charlie Clips at SM2, that wasn't a freestyle, but you probably don't even know what im talking about, just some battle stuff...
VjgProp not true. Juice is off-the-top. There are still freestyle (actual no written get booed off stage 8 mile shit) battles in Chicago. Come out sometime.
A lot of rappers rap real freestyle, MC juice is one of them. The best one I think is supernatural, look up his freestyles where he's given random words to rap about while he's freestyling.
word
VjgProp it's not memorized Eminem has come up with shit on the spot before and so has juice and tons of other so educated urself idiot
His fame and bank account say differently.
if you think Juice's verses were pre-written you need to do a bit of research about the guy.
I can tell you don't know shit cause he brought his slim shady ep to scribble jam and traded demos with doseone and most of his lines were on his tape... and it shouldn't be about tha money it should be about tha hio hop
Money does not equal skill.
EM IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A RAPPER WHO PROB. LOST BATTLES BUT WON THE WAR
"You couldnt make this crowd throw up their a hands if they swallowed their fingers"
You know it’s talent when the quality is this bad and it still pulls half a million views, lol.
