scan + nydus might be the most annoying thing to deal with in team games, that synergy is crazy. it's incidental though, would be funny if they deliberately allowed all these race abilities to work across races during team games: warp BCs across the map then recall them, load DTs into a nydus, chronoboost a proxy rax, creep speeds up all the team's units...

Watching Marc accomplish more economic damage with periodic group of 8 cars than the zergs expensive pack of swarm hosts plus Nydus was a thing of beauty
Theoretically, could one player on the team, maybe a zerg, expand to six bases super fast, get fed money for queens, drone up mega fast, and then feed the other three bases off like 130 drones?
I actually really loved watchig you play team games, super fun different style of play to watch, although I wish we got a more bio or mass ghost or cruisers! The tanks are so immobile and I feel wehre you shine is making that chaos! Imagine the nukes!
I pretty much only play 4v4s, not at this level but even in diamond league that low worker swam host play is brutal to deal with because there's usually way too much chaos to stop it and if they do it from the start the longer the game goes on the more free damage they're getting. The only thing you can really do is get some banshees or something and snipe the nyduses. Of course usually they're smart enough to make 2 and then it's almost impossible to stop and if you do kill one they get away.

I probably would have switched off the hellion pump after game 1. They expected it and countered. Yeah, you killed miners but it was essentially a 3v4 because you had no units but dead hellions 👀

First game lost worker count Rough estimate since I can only see what is shown in the video. Some workers might have been killed off screen and it was hard to tell if a worker died because of all the units on the screen and the workers getting pretty much instantly killed. I also could have counted one worker as 2. Both the Terrans combined lost 57 workers, Protoss lost 23 and Zerg lost 45 which is 125 in total lost workers in the first game. I tried to count workers losts for uThermal and his team but there were only a few moments where you could see a few workers dying, so I decided not to count them.
You guys play 4v4 like 1v1. 4v4 has 1 difference from 1v1 - the aggressors often control the entire pace and have a big advantage even into the macro game. Playing for early coordinated attacks into a sustained middle game all in is the only way to play 4v4 imo.
I don’t know why Marc decided the best way to play team games is do nothing but spam hellions and then eventually lose because the opponents both have armies and only Marc’s ally that he feeds has a good army. I mean worker harass is nice but I feel like it should be something you bust out from time to time not as a repeated build
I found to better defend against swarm hosts in 4's, you should turn off the colors of players on this mini-map to red & green. Too many colors on mini map makes it tough. GG's!
OK you're not going to love this, but the 10/10 Marc content is talking with the audience. You play the game very well, but these games have reminded me how much I love listening to you, not just watching you play.

OK! I do not understand this! Q:You have uThermal (SC2 Pro Player who beat the best of them all in different circumstances) feeding, literal nobodies in 3v3 and 4v 4 matches. The common logic tells me it should be the other way around...
So if you have a better player and a worse player why should your logic be to tell the worse player to feed the better player? If you have a better player you should want them to play more normally as they are the most skilled at that, not tell them to adapt a strategy they are inexperienced in. Likewise the worse player may be relieved to have to focus less on the full aspects of the game and more on the micro intensive part of it. Why you think these players may be nobodies is a different question, at least uThermal has a lot of practice in doing cheesy or harassment strategies.
He was feeding mostly MaxPax in this 4v4, who was the strongest player on the roster ;) What I'm not convinced about is the having just 1 terran. Ability to land a CC and drop lots of mules to feed others the resources seems like a very overpowered strategy.

Simple.. See a scan in your base and look for a nydus in the radius. Pretty nice since you can visibly see the scan time.

That was my strat in 4v4. Feed the zerg roach army to 1-1 and support with marines behind.
