I like DJ's list. I might get a couple of them on my next map. Here's a few to add that I feel are must have: *Silo Displays* - An illuminated display that shows a list of contents and amounts contained in each silo. Place one next to each silo (including the digestate tank at the BGA) and you'll know at a glance just how much you have of everything in each one. Unfortunately with the advent of silos that hold everything in the game, this mod needs an extra large version, as the large version just doesn't have enough slots. *More Missions Allowed* - 'Cause, moar contracts. Having the ability to accept more than one contract is great for maps that have a lot of fields. Let loose your army of helpers and complete multiple contracts at once! *Guidance Steering* - a.k.a. GPS. No need to steer and it helps make sure you don't waste precious resources, like fertilizer. *Display for Tool Position* - Displays the height off the ground and angle for most tools that attach to front end loaders, wheel loaders, etc. It makes using pallet forks a lot easier, as you'll know exactly when the forks are level. *Fill Type Mass Adjustment* - Realistic weights. The base game halves the weight per load (40,000 L = 20,000), making it easier to drive around. This mod restores that base weight to full (40,000 L = 40,000). No more hauling 55,000 L of potatoes uphill with that tiny tractor. *Added Realism for Vehicles* - This mod factors in engine size (horse power) and slippage (tire width and weights) when traveling on different surfaces. Coupled with the Fill Type Mass Adjustment mod, it makes one really have to consider how big an engine one needs and whether one should on put wider tires and/or weights. It makes it possible to become stuck, as the tires can actually become buried in dirt if the slippage is too great. And last but the greatest mod of all time......... *Cowboy Hat* - 'Cause farming without a cowboy hat on is like eating breakfast without a juice. It just isn't done.
Surprised to see Global Company on here, considering your stance on it previously. Look forwards to seeing you learning bout the shenanigans it enables!
i miss the horsch pronto 26m seeder/and the 50m horsch tiger cultivaters those were my fav's/ so im haveing lots fun with easy dev. command/map editor. i enjoy your informitive youtube channel . have a good one.
I can only agree with one of your picks - the Easy Develop Console. I would add the Multi-cheat mod as well, just for the ability to start off with a large dairy farm, and have every cow fed until I am able to produce enough crops, or buy them. When one cow farm mod allows you to have over 2000 (yes, TWO THOUSAND) cows, it is a helpful mod to have. I have a love/hate relationship with CoursePlay 6 - I love to hate it - when it makes things difficult and I end up having to resort to using the built-in hired workers. I seem to do better with Guidance Steering (aka GPS), yet that means I have to ride along, and that is okay for small fields, yet I don't need it then. So these are two nice ones, yet I still can't put them on my list. I don't care for the dirt, as there is only one washer to clean a tractor with, you can't just drive through, so I with dirt set to off. I just don't get the maize thing, and what is CCM? Does it stand for Country Corn Madness? I don't like maps that when they add extra crops they modify what I have to feed to my livestock, so these are no-goes for me as well. Glad you did not mention the Straw Harvest DLC, that seems to of been a waste of my (time and) money. I don't use GC, no need to. As you have mentioned in the past as a reason you have not used it up to this point, you can do most everything with just a regular mod. While it adds the availability to view your factories from one window that does not outweigh the drawbacks - limited selection. While the name of the game is Farming Simulator it is almost anything but that. You do not have the same level of control of the tractors that I would expect from a simulator, so it is more like Farming Arcade. Because of this I just want to fire it up and play, relax some, and I am more of a farm manager than a farm worker. Because of this Seasons just puts a wrinkle into what I want to do - relax when I play. I have my own back yard garden if I want reality, and seasons. I use mods that allows me to view what hired workers (even CP uses hired workers) are currently downing, and the status of their equipment. Since I play with a steering wheel with pedals, along with a joystick, I have a mod that lets me change my driving direction just by tapping my clutch. Animas Clean and Animal Worker are a couple more mods I like, I can never seem to get the conveyor belts quite right to keep the pens clean, and it just helps with the manager, not worker, mantality. Animal Screen Extension is great when doing livestock on a farm, on a large scale try buying more than a dozen of anything. Workshop Tabber is almost a requirement to use at a workshop when selling equipment, or upgrading it. I think Dr. Who knows the proper was to travel - in a telephone booth, also called a Tardis. Some maps I find almost impossible because of the small streets, this helps restore my sanity. The nice thing about this game is the ability to customize it and make it your own. Why anyone would want to pick Maize Plus to have in their game folder, much less pick as a top five, I have no idea, yet people can be misguided like that, and still be allowed to play this game.
I try not to use global company very often most of the stuff doesn't function right and it doesn't work right with other mods if you get really lucky the game won't load anymore.

THE PACK FOR OLDER TRACTOR MODLES
The most used mod has to be the mega strength mod and the flip your vehicle over mod(f11)
I am confused, I always hear you talk bad about global company, but seems like you like it?
The real top mod for PC is knowing how to mess with the XML files.
@I Lynch SHEEEESH
Its not all that hard. Tons of tutorials on yt
