@@CesarACastillo Red would be Mac’s nephew, but Bloo’s cousin if we are to consider the children in a parental light to their imaginary friends (Bloo and Mac can’t both be Red’s uncles in this scenario)

I notice that Mac lives in a single parent household with no father figure to act as a symbol of virtue and discipline. No wonder Terrance is such a monster, he’s a rabid dog with no leash. He needs to be sent to some sort of Scared Straight program because that’s where he’s gonna end up if he doesn’t knock it off.
I really appreciate his turnaround. Like Red said, he's a nice guy, just blissfully ignorant to the world around him since Terrance didn't teach him anything but "smash Bloo." He's also smarter than Terrance, we see that when Bloo apologizes and gives him flowers as a peace offering. He's skeptical as to why Bloo would do that since everything that's been given to him has been a setup for a harmful prank. He deserves a good home with a rough and tumble kid who'd love his aggressive kindness.
That's true and what makes laugh is when Terrence lands on the unicorn and says "Thanks for breaking my fall ya sissy horse" because the unicorn literally just saved you and now you're insulting it.
Yeah his entire fam are all douches actually. His life would suck if it weren’t for or bloo and everyone else at Foster’s tbh. I mean, according to the lore of the show, Macs parents (plural, meaning his pa was still in the picture at the time) decided he was too old for this blue security blanket he had, even though he was only freaking 3 at the time, and took it away from him. Which is how Bloo comes in. And now fast forward to when the series takes place when he’s 8, his mom victim-blames him for being picked on by Terrence, and instead of punishing her out of control son, has Mac give up Bloo because he’s “too old for him” now. On top of that she Is also rarely around. And the father, well, we see no trace of him anywhere in the background of their apartment which leads me to suspect the parents split up, and it probably wasn’t on good terms. I mean if he was a beloved husband/father and he just passed away, you’d think they’d still hold onto memories of him like photos or some of his belongings but all we see are Mac, his mom and brother.
I like to think the reason we never see Red again is because he was very quickly adopted by a kid who had the same brother issues as Mac, and adopted Red to have a protector/positive big brother figure in his life ❤️

It's possible Terrance's real father whom Mac's mom divorced was an abusive drunk which is where Terrance's developmental issues most likely stemmed from.
Ah, yes. I remember Terrance being a one-dimensional evil bully who aimed to make Mac’s life a living hell for no reason. I think there might have been some brief explanation for his tyranny in one episode, but yeah.
Unless Red somehow explains it, despite being created to be tough and mean, he's actually not like that at all and somehow he came out that way without Terrence meaning for him to be. Is he secretly like that and he covers it up by being a jerk? But unlike Red he actually enjoys it maybe.
I like how Bloo in a way taught Red that hurting others is wrong, and then showed Red the positives of being nice. Basically turned him into another Edwardo.
