Pilot episode of my personal series Hazelnut Stories (or Brown stories).
Browns are a subrace of inklings and octolings, that cannot change color and they're hated and despised by all (not all actually, but most).
This episode and the future ones, is dedicated for the fight against the racism, bullying, and other abuses.
This video was my personal jewel, and bring me a lot of visualizations. :c

This is like the IRL racism, it's bad but at least there are people who are caring for the different ones and not just insult or push them away.

In my opinion. The browns ink is a genetic throw back to they're ancient ancestors. Squid, octopus, and cuttlefish they're ink is brown, only turning black when exposed to air.
Maybe they need to expose to enough Oxygen when they are born to get their normal color and if not they Will stay with Brown ink, But of they have way more than necessary it becomes black?
@urielgonzalez2882 maybe so. But I suspect a genetic "trigger" is in play. Granted this is animated and they don't really exist but is does present an interesting theory line.

1:27 if Splatoon has characteristics for select colors, like if you can choose a favourite colour (that you can't change) to be the most powerful one and have everything that is represented in the video except the contagious part.

Glad we get to see this video again. The one thing I love about this video is how it relates to IRL problems like with people treating each other differently just because of their culture or skin color. You really are doing a good job with this story. 🙂👍🏾
I have the idea that the Officer eventually becomes the main villain of the series, after by the emotional hit by Clampearl, The Officer utterly snaps and decides to destroy all not only the browns but everyone who are friends with the Browns. Eventually, he decides to become dictator of Inkoloplis and plans to Take over the world with his Anti-Brown message and turning the world into his playpen.

Damn, what a bad time the Browns had. Being different does not label you as the bad guy if you do not show bad actions. Although at first I believed that there was a virus associated with the Browns' ink and they had to eliminate it so that the ink was not aggressive and they could not be discriminated against.

I feel like the browns are probably more evolved versions of regular inkling/octolings, since their ink is stronger.
I don't see anything wrong with a different color, the color they are doesn't matter.

Dark skinned Octos and Squids afraid of Brown Squids and Octos.
As someone who IS tan, I don’t see this as racism in the literal sense, since dark skinned characters are also afraid of the Browns, and it’s based on their ink color rather than skin, race, or species, but discrimination and oppression themes are very clear as day, no doubt about it. The closest I can call it is extreme colorism, or ink-based colorism. It went from understandable (as in the brown ink used to accidentally cheat the system), to pure hatred, antagonistic misinformation, and discrimination. This could happen to any demographic.
Also Clampearl slammed that officer some EMOTIONAL DAMAGE 😂

It good see it again. (What did I say before it was deleted) Hold on! Correct me if I'm wrong. If your ink color is stronger than any other ink color. Why become an police, an turf war security incase of cheater etc, and/or an event with 4 brown vs 8 inkling and/or octoling with one color. Btw you all deserve an better life than this. Also I figure it out, it's the color mix.

Maybe in an alternative dimension, the browns are treated in this way, too bad in my canon story there's something more dark behind.

To me, it doesn't matter what your color of your skin(splatoon world ink hair), where you from, who or what you are and where you were born. Your action, your feelings, and your heart are all that matter. Earth is our grandmother, The Almighty himself is our father and they're both watching and judging our ways toward each other
