I know it's a machine, but the performance is brilliant. It feels very airy and cool throughout, and no notes are missed (an error any human would commit with such a difficult piece). Combined, this has to be the best performance of this piece I've heard, and I usually hate machine performances!
@@pleasecontactme4274 I'm assuming you're trying to insult his English; in this case, I can easily cite many instances where you have used improper grammar as well. Additionally, the only legitimate error in his writing was that he said, "Unlike to today's music," in which that 'to' was unnecessary. Also, why should a simple error alter the intellectual value of a comment?
The sad thing is that one can only appreciate this piece for the skill of the person playing it, because it is actually not very easy on the ears. So it is one of the pieces that when played is more like a phenomenon than a song.
zak loxray Do you have any recording or sheet music of what you've completed thus far? I think it's pretty amazing that you've undertaken composing a full piece - I used to try years ago, but I never had the discipline or the vision.
Hundreds of people can play this at a decent tempo.

@@thenotsookayguy not really. Today only Trifonov and a handful of dedicated players would be able to pull this one off safely in a live concert. But hypervirtuosi have a good attempt at it. Below that, they may put a somewhat decent work, but it will be way off tempo (or wrong notes, poor expressiveness etc). Thousands can pull a VERY flawed attempt, but to make the work justice is for one a billion. Maybe a handful of the greatests.
Debussy: Music is the silence between notes.
Liszt:
@@CatkhosruShapurrjiFurabji I think he meant that there is no silence between the notes as they are continuous

Your thumb should glide on the two keys, that's what I do in the wrong notes étude by Chopin.
@@CatkhosruShapurrjiFurabji
Wait, dont u use pointer finger in both peices.
@@something2b445 I will get to know it only after I play that piece again, but you're just supposed to glide one finger on 2 keys.
If you think about it, in the first minute, it sort of sounds like a cat chasing a mouse.
+Devon Delgado I see what you did there with the implicit Tom and Jerry reference :D
If you think about it, liszt's music appears in very many cartoons
Yeah true..
IT SOUNDS LIKE DROWNING IN TOM AND JERRY
No.
0:08 that's sacrilegious
Play it at 15 notes a second
Lmao

well, it IS an étude, anyways. Liszt isn't Chopin.
+Brandon Law I am aware of that but liszt was capable of writing softer pieces like liebestraum. Which I like a bit more.
+Daniel Lassila I agree
iebestraum was made to be a hit, etudes are meant to be difficult.
Listen to Cziffra playing it. It sounds extremely sweet, though he does go a bit slower
beautiful
set speed to two, thats how fast i can play it, with my eyes closed, upside down, and backwards, i swear, cross my heart hope to die XD
what about without breathing?
I'm now in the mood for some Tic Tacs!
why did this make me luagh so hard
i like to listen to this while im high i dont know why but i find it really funny
I just finish practicing the first 40 seconds and im so exhausted. This piece is a monstrosity. My right hand is completely destroyed 😭
Better than a lot of performances I've heard no offense lol.
Coz it's a frickin' COMPUTER!!!
Well no offense, we all know computer is greater than Liszt lol 😅🤣
@CatkhosruShapurrjiFurabji no it's not shut up corny little boy 😂
oh the pedal...
i forgot
of course not. you have to jump with your left hand and hold the bass lines with the pedal.
@ it's always a good character trait to underestimate others!
Ahahahahaha . Liszt do u think i am going to try it?
I did and im reading this in a corner of my room
Well, I know Liszt is urging me to practise ode to joy one again 😓😔😔😔
because it is composed by liszt ☺
Did any of you notice that how is it possible to play 3:13 - 3:19 in only one hand???
You use two hands.
@@TheSurpremeLogician Exactly, but then there's only one colour at that point of time. That's not possible, right?
@@npcuber7670 its not possible at that speed no.
@@TheSurpremeLogician Yep
I think Liszt intended to play it with one hand. He is absolutely insane
its not really like that, there you should use the pedal or something to sustain
What program can make a movie of MIDI files like this one?
synthesia
can we talk about 1:18
is this supposed to be played by 2 people?
cuz i don't see how you can play the left hand at 1:14
Use the pedal
@DANTE MEZA 1 year apart
I replied
It’s actually just octave jumps in the LH. I think the machine used pedal:
I think this is before I realized synthesia tracks what notes are heard and not just what keys are depressed at the moment

ye Id love to try that piece dosent seem too hard
It's probably one of the hardest transcendental etudes, although I haven't attempted any myself. I just read it on piano forums, this piece is hard.
it is hard but it will be nothing compared to the piano piece Im composing
zak loxray You sure about that? How far have you progressed so far?
debeastdueeast not to far but, Im thinking of sections on the piece thats why its taking me so long
