Great morning tour of the ship, not to mention the look at Cozumel. That lunch on the beach looked amazing, and I also want that caramel cheesecake! This was so useful and interesting - we’ve never really thought about cruises before but watching this really got us thinking …. 😂🤔. Looks so fun and beautiful. Thanks for the great video. Very well-done and enjoyable!
Hi D&S - what a great private beach resort to go and get away! The video of the drive there reminded us of the way Hog videos 2-Cent's driving!!🤣 Pirate's night looked like a blast - Yo Ho, Yo Ho! Thanks for a fun vlog y'all - cheers!!!! 😎🍻
Lol! We have yet to catch a ride with H&2c,but definitely look forward to it! Pirate night was sooo fun! Some people go all out too with costumes - we might have to do that next time!
Palapa. (The umbrella you were sitting under). We were in Cozumel in September of '22 and opted for Paradise Beach Club and LOVED it. There's certainly something to be said for being waited on hand and foot while lying back on a lounger in paradise! I'll be in Las Vegas the week of the 21st. How about you? When's your next trip there. ? BTW, I love watching all the gambling and the food venues you share.
Yes!! We couldn’t figure it out for the life of us! Lol! We’ll have to look up PBC for our next cruise! We’ll be in Vegas this Friday for a couple days and are itching to board the plane! Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words! We hope you have a blast on your upcoming 🎰🎰 trip!
The Dominican Republic Punta Cana has the same problem on the beach with some kind of seaweed in large volumes washing in at night! I guess it's all over the Caribbean right now!
A really BIG question as I’ve NEVER been on a cruise AND do NOT understand the tipping rules. The envelopes that you showed, did you have the same people throughout the cruise? If so, do you HAND those envelopes to the staff or do you just leave them. If you were a BIG tipper, I think you’d like to hand them and say thank you, if not, I could see people doing a “Hit and Run”. Lastly, do you tip the staff throughout the cruise, for instance dinner, lunch, breakfast, at the bar? Great video as always.
Good question: yes, there are mandatory fees that go to your servers and get charged to your stateroom at the end of your trip. And yes, you have the same servers at dinner every night and the same person who cleans your room. So they know any special requests, like we asked for a bucket of ice in our room and our host put one in our room every day after. Then, they leave envelopes for extra tips for them. But we bring thank you cards because we want to leave them a personalized message with extra cash! We give this to them on the last day. They are truly amazing!! And the bar and room service, we do leave a tip because the added gratuities don’t go to them. We take a bunch on $1’s and $5’s for small tips :)
Awesome 🤩 We spent time in Playa del Carmen & could see Cozumel Island but never went over. Everything on the Disney Cruise sounds amazing 😻 Question : On the Disney Cruise website I understand you have an option to pay gratitudes ahead ; before you board ? No ? I noticed you tipped at the end ? Just curious what would be best is all. The introduction by Sonia was pretty cool - seeing the ship before it got busy - thanks again for sharing trip - Cheers ! Chef Bari PS : I see you’re in Vegas as I’m writing this 😊
We are in Vegas Chef! It’s been a great trip. Thank so much for watching our Disney cruise videos! Yes, you can pay in advance or have them charge your stateroom at the end of the cruise. But then the envelopes are extra too for your servers which we highly recommend!
Hey Wendy! Cruises are very relaxing. The ship normally ports from 8-4 ish. Sometimes earlier and sometimes later but you normally have about 7-8 hours for your excursions. We tend to get off early and get back on early to make sure we don’t miss the ship but haven’t had any issues yet! 😉
Another great video! Wondering about the rules re taking video on the aqua duck.. I’ve seen so many conflicting answers. Were you able to bring your phone on with you to take a video? Or did you have to have a GoPro type harness? I’d love to be able to bring my phone on (in a waterproof case) to take a video but not sure what is allowed! Thanks :)
Yes, but only because of the time since kids are out of school. Like same price as spring break. I have found some summer deals but they are generally mouth more when kids are out of school.
Yes, it was in pesos, so basically just divide by 10. So $60 was $6. But it was all inclusive, so not sure why they had prices on the menu 🤷♀️ We paid $69 pp and had a 3 course lunch included as well as unlimited drinks (alcohol included) :)
Lol! Been packed for a couple days now! We’re ready to board the plane! Yes, since it is limited to a certain number of guest per day, it was a perfect little getaway!
Cruising is the best! You guys are awesome!
It really is! Thanks so much Tanya!!

Thanks guys! That beach at Cozumel was beautiful! You should definitely try cruising! 😉
Looked like so much fun! Interesting to see no one out and about early in the morning it looks like you can just do anything at those hours!
My favorite time! 😉
Very cool video again cozmel look fantastic and the food 2 continues enjoy yourselves XOXO
Yes, Cozumel was amazing! The private beach was beautiful!

We have really enjoyed your vlog series! We will be on the Dream next weekend for 5 night Marvel Day at Sea cruise. Can’t wait! Our first DCL cruise.
That’s awesome! We had a blast and would definitely get on the Dream again! Hope you have an amazing time!!
And thank you 😊
Wow, I must admit I have never wanted a cruise but this made me think!!! Great vlog as always! That tube looked so cool !!
Thanks, Stu! Disney cruises are the best!

New fan. Got hooked on your Vegas vlogs, great stuff! As someone from Weslaco, TX I appreciate the McAllen shoutout 🤘🏽 cheers guys
Lol! Love it!

Yeah, that’s what they said. It was all over but the water was still so beautiful 😍

Great video, thank you so much!❤ Did you leave a tip on top of the cost?
Yes, they split it between the servers. They were all so helpful!
I think it's supposed to be Ursula.😊
Lol! That totally makes sense!!
Never done a cruise so appreciate your vlog. How much time do you typically have for the excursions?

We took our Go-Pro and bought a wrist strap to hold it. I don’t think they’ll let you use your phone unless you have something to brace it down.
Cool you speak Spanish too!
Yes, I do a little. I spoke more Spanish more when I was younger.
I need to practice it more tho! 😆
The only thing missing from pirate night was Kevin Alderton!
Yes!! 😆
I think I saw him greeting the guest! We found his real gig!
Right?!!
The towel was Ursula
I see it now!! Lol
Are the Disney Christmas cruises more expensive than other Disney cruises throughout the year?
Yes, but only because of the time since kids are out of school. Like same price as spring break. I have found some summer deals but they are generally mouth more when kids are out of school.
How much was the food? It said anywhere from $60-$400 is that in different currency ?
Yes, it was in pesos, so basically just divide by 10. So $60 was $6. But it was all inclusive, so not sure why they had prices on the menu 🤷♀️
We paid $69 pp and had a 3 course lunch included as well as unlimited drinks (alcohol included) :)
Shouldn't you be packing? 😅 That looked like an amazing day. The private beach would be ides. Not crowded and people yelling.
Lol! Been packed for a couple days now! We’re ready to board the plane!
Yes, since it is limited to a certain number of guest per day, it was a perfect little getaway!
