I am so excited I found this. I've been on a 30 year quest. My SD is getting progressively worse and I am becoming more isolated. I'm done with botox an anti anxiety meds. I'm going to make a commitment to follow your exercises. Thank you, thank you
Thank you for the hope kind Sir. SD is really depressing I can't even talk straight to girls now without my voice shaking or losing out and all those symptoms like getting an order from a fast food joint, talking on the telephone, talking in a group..It is absolutely the worst feeling ever but I will not lose hope thanks to you and hopefully get my life back as well even if it takes years.
Inspiring and encouraging. I too had a similar diagnosis path - am now recovering from my first and last botox injection. I am so encouraged to hear your story and to know that with determination and consistent effort I can overcome this. Its great to hear your story and that you cured yourself. I was told I had SD last month and its so hard not to be able to communicate with my kids .I can't even help them with there homework or read a book to them. I feel hopeful hearing your story and I will try these exercises. Thankyou very much!!!
Thank you, Tim!!! I am a Catholic priest and going through everything you talk about. I was diagnosed with SD and MTD (muscle tension Dysphonia) just a couple of weeks ago after suffering with this to different degrees for 8+ years. Hope is what we all Ned with this cursed voice disorder.

Thank you for this! You gave me hope. I was diagnosed recently with functional dysphonia, currently, I am undergoing voice therapy. Not being able to talk as I used to felt so agonizing and depressing. Hope I can have your email. This video is on point, resonated with how I am currently feeling.
