For the stop knot, you might want to try doing a double overhand for that. Can you cut the webbing with the torch? That way it fuses and cuts it at the same time? I know that some hardware stores have a hot knife that they use for materials like that.
Ooooo, I like that double overhand knot. I'll have to try cutting with the torch, that could be handy and would singe two sides at once. Not sure about a hot knife, unless it's battery powered as I'm working in the field.
