When Annabeth started to go to Goode Elementary she didn't expect to know anyone except for Percy until at new people irritation on the first day of sophomore year she looks to the left of her and there is a brother and sister arguing. "Come on brother de-" the brother cut her off "Sadie, I won't be coming here for any part during the year I will be with uncle Amos in Egypt." The sister who popped gum in her mouth said "ok but I will still be bringing you all your work to the Nome." The brother said "ok." They went silent Annabeth finally got the guts to ask them "Do I know you?" Thier heads swing around to look at Annabeth and the girl answered "you might know our Father Dr. Kane-" Annabeth knew exactly who these people were she cut of the girl and said "I'm Annabeth I helped you take down Sente with my boyfriend." Carter looked at her " That was you ?!?! I thought you lived somewhere else." Annabeth answered back " well my father lives in San Francisco but I am staying at my boyfriend's house for the school year and then off to camp." Carter looked at her amazed. And said "I guess now that I know someone other than my sister I might actually come." Then the presentation started and they all got quiet

This whole thing has me mixed. On the one hand, it was very well done and I could imagine it happening if the Seven were mortals. But that leads to the other hand; this might’ve been the life they had if they were normal. No monsters, no gods, no fighting for their lives. None of that. It’s kinda sad in that way.
