    I’m trying to look for your weight room video. After seeing others video I like this breakdown the most. Needing to run the 1.5 under 12:40 and I have 5 months to train.

      If you’re consistent with training you can easily get there in 5 months.

    Currently 269lbs. Mile time is 14:00 flat. I have to do 1.5 miles in 11:34 for the FBI.
    I have about 2 months. How fucked am i? Ive completely changed my lifestyle and have over the past couple of weeks been training my cardio

      That’s tough. You can get close but no promises. First, you need to work on your diet and trim 15 -20 lbs between now and then.
      Get the Carb Manager App & start tracking your food. Keep calories under 1800, carbs under 100 and protein at or around 100-130.
      Start using what I taught in the video. Work on speed not long distance. In addition, work on your push-ups & sit-ups prior to doing your speed work. Get use to being tired before you run.
      Tracking your food & weight loss is the key to your success.

      Follow this formula. Run 3 days per week. 6 x 1/4 miles repeats under 1:40 a lap. 3 x 1/2 miles repeat under 3.20. 2x 1 mile repeat under 6:40.
      Hope this helps.

    Question, I’m 6’2, 245lb, I just started running again this week haven’t really ran in a few years. I need to do a 13 minute mile and half. I ran a mile in 11 minutes and then I ran my mile in a half in about 17.34 minutes. Will this help me get my Mike and half down to 13 minutes within a 3 months time?

    • @ExpectResultsFitness
      @ExpectResultsFitness  2 года назад +3

      Yes it will. You need to work on speed to get your time down. Plus don’t over do it and get hurt.
      If your consistent with it. It will work!
      Let me know what your time is in 3 months!

    • @gabeboudreau8614

      One other thing I’d suggest. Don’t know what your diet looks like, but if you were to get down into the 235-230 lb range before your run the weight alone will take time off your run.
      I suggest using the Carb Manager app and start tracking your food intake. Try and keep your calories under 1800 and carbs under 100.

    How many weeks out from the run do I start this training?

    • @ExpectResultsFitness
      @ExpectResultsFitness  5 лет назад

      Chris Pipkin for best results start 90 days. However, you can get good results in 60 unless you are just horribly out of shape.

      Fstrachan34 use this consistently and you can see passing results in 60 days easy. The key is consistency and making your times.
