this game escalated from "random psychopath on the loose" to "chinese hopping vampires" really quickly.
This episode is amazing. Hearing Arin and Dan laugh hysterically, and Arin saying WHAT THE FUCK?!?, is the best thing ever.

I think the purple bouncy bros are Chinese vampires, they hop around like that in the lore and their outfit looks like what the vampires are commonly depicted as wearing.
I can't stop hearing Sayori and Natsuki whenever Arin and Dan do the voices.

Those bouncing guys are based on Chinese lore. The ancient Chinese version of a zombie was believed to be still stiff even after rebirth, so it had to hop to move. You can learn more about it in Gaijin Goomba's video about Mei's Halloween skin in Overwatch. I find myself wondering what lore can be found about the other enemies in this game.
This comment is here to remind you that Arin and Dan and the other Grumps are working their asses off for us. I'm not playing violins here, I'm telling you their sheer workload should be reason enough to treat them with respect. Thank you.
I believe those purple guys are supposed to be Jiangshi. They're commonly portrayed as hopping.

Lame... I just found the energy drink Dan was talking about ("it's like hadoken in a can") and it's just a Red Bull with Street Fighter characters on it. I thought it was an actual Street Fighter-branded drink, something specifically created for the game series, but nope, just Red Bull.
