Very nice playing, as always! Would you say this pedal has a "flat" EQ, or does it push certain frequencies (e.g., mids, like a tube screamer)? And how does it compare with the Cranberry OD, in terms of gain range and EQ?
jakollee Hey! It’s not flat, it’s pushing the low mids a bit. Making the guitar sound bigger. It doesn’t have much gain but you can push it with a boost for more gain. Hope that helps :)
Yes, thanks! I'm always on the lookout for a mini pedal that's "transparent" in the way that a Timmy pedal is, for an always-on pedal on my mini board. I have several One Control pedals and really like them, but not sure if any would qualify (maybe Persian Green Screamer on "modern" setting). The Apricot OD did sound fatter than the PGS in your video, very nice sound.
It would be nice to hear the same demo with PAF type humbuckers.
