    Great cover! Well this is quite a coincidence : I listened to a band last night who did a great job on Doobie Bros' China Grove and it reminded me how much I wanted to learn to play Long Train Runnin'. I decided to do what I often do when I want to learn a song : check out what ideas other people had about the song's interpretation on RUclips. I ended up listening to your band's cover and liked it so much I listened to it again later in the day. Then I thought : geez, this is really good, I wonder who these guys are so I started reading the video's caption and found out to my surprise that you are from Moncton!
    I've lived in Moncton/Dieppe since University and the band I went to see last night was "Spoiled Rotten" with Steven Leblanc at the Igloo (If you don't know them you should really check them out, they are playing again next Friday at the CasinoNB, they are some of the areas best musicians). Anyways, I wanted to know if you guys are going to be playing around town cause I'd go see you.
    BTW, musically, I really like your faithfulness to the original and the clarity of the tone for the 2nd guitar (where the guitar almost sounds like a mandolin. That part sounds better than the original).
    What a small world! Thanks for the inspiration!

      I plan on being there. Here's an excerpt from an email that I got a few days after my posting that makes it an even bigger coincidence:
      Bonjour Benoit,
      J’ai vu tes commentaires sur la page de Whiskey’s Gone (Long Train Runnin). To make it an even smaller world, le deuxième guitariste que t’as fait le commentaire, c’est mon garçon Julien, lol.
      Bonne tempête,
      André
      ====REPLY===========================
      Allo André,
      Wow, je ne l'avais pas reconnu (il était avec toi à un Blues jam quelques années passées). Je me rappelle que tu me disais que non seulement il avait son bacc en percussion mais il était aussi multi-instrumentaliste comme toi. Je vais marquer la date de leur gig et je vais définitivement essayer de m'y rendre.
      Autre Coincidence : Ta salutation de "Bonne tempête" s'applique autant aujourd'hui, que 4 jours passés!
      Benoit
