Hey thanks! It’s a standard these days to seal the foundation, and use the dimple board as an extra layer of protection for the concrete foundation. It creates an air gap and a physical separation between the landscape (drain rock and soil/mulch on top of that) and keeps the foundation dryer reducing build up of mould, leaks, and general basement mustyness
