This is taken from the unpluged MTV show recorded on 2001 by the Chilean band La Ley, following the concept of this show, they prepared a full acustic set (this was rather unusual for them) and added some support mucicians. For this song, the band invited the fantastic Ely Guerra (she is form Mexico) to join in. Her performace was simply remarcable and become iconic, This versión of the song was a big hit.
Ely Guerra really added a lot to this unplugged version of the song, that's why we're still remember it. Another suggestion of good unplugged circa same time, is Julieta Venegas with her MTV live "El Presente", which I think you'll also enjoy since you live musicianship so much.
