The best way to resolve vapor lock is the spacer in-between the carb and the intake manifold. My 77 NYB 440 (also Spinnaker white) in Syracuse came with a 1"+ deep spacer and I've never had a problem. As I recall, the 75 has a smaller one, but I'm not sure. I also have a 3-core radiator, so the engine never gets hot. As I recall they all came with a 2-core. Mine was re-cored about 15 years ago.
Your Lincoln brings back memories lol I had a 87 town car signature series same blue leather interior mine was white with a navy blue Landau roof loved that car. Also had a 88 town car black with black leather interior black carriage roof with the gold package so the letters were gold and the grill was gold that I think was my favorite. It was more loaded than my other one but what really brings back memories is the new Yorker lol my mom had a 76 Chrysler New Yorker Brogham when I was a kid black with black vinyl roof and burgundy velor interior with red Pinstripe. The tail lights were different than this one. Hers were up & down thin ones and had waterfall grill and hideaway headlights. I'm looking for one to get. Loved that car
Thank you so much for your great comment! You can't go wrong with a town car lol! I miss it. We are going to post more content on the Lincoln soon! Come back and check us out again! Please don't forget to subscribe and share with someone that you think may enjoy a look back in time!
My favorite Lincoln is the '78 Mark V Diamond Jubilee Edition. To me, the most beautiful car ever made. I love the New Yorkers too. I had 6 of them, ranging between 1979 and 1991. Most comfortable seats I've ever sat in.
They are beautiful cars! I'm going to get another one.. most likely the same year my parents had.. they had a beautiful black on black 1985 town car! We really appreciate the comment! Please share and subscribe! We have more comments and giveaways coming soon!
My dad had a 1975 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham 2dr, bought new in Cleveland, OH. It was a pretty metallic brown with goldish vinyl top and goldish cloth interior and so much nicer than our neighbors Buicks or Ford LTD. The 440 would scoot, especially after dad tuned it. It was an incredible highway cruiser and would get 16 mpg, better than my smaller Dodge. That one is in remarkable shape for a New York car. But they did last if well cared for.
Thank you so much for your great comment! We agree, Paul's chrysler is in great condition to be in New York! These cars are really stylish and an overall great ride, even for its age! Thanks again for commenting and please consider ( if you haven't already) subscribing!

Chrysler’s have always been luxurious and smooth riding cars and the man who bought one was usually well accomplished. I think the 1969-1971 New Yorkers were the most beautiful, with the simple flowing lines. This ‘75 New Yorker is very nice but a bit “heavy”looking with its slab sided body design.
Like your video awesome car. Please check out my 2 cars on my car story. 74 new Yorker and 77 Newport. Newport is a Survivor I chased it for 12 years. This is sugar, daddy.
My Dad had 75 New Yorker 2dr, he always said it was the best riding car he ever had.
