I'm incredibly fair skinned and struggled for a long time to find a bronzer I could actually wear without looking orange since I don't tan naturally. Now my absolute favourite is Hoola Lite by Benefit, it's perfect
Nadine , I’m slightly obsessed with bronzers ! I have lots of them guerlain , Creme de la mer , Nars and Tom Ford but my favourite out of all of them is a cheap matte bronzer by Superdrug their B vegan range in light !,,,,, cheap as chips but the best natural colour ever xxxxxxxxxxx love your videos darling xxxxx
Bronzer looks great on you. I'm a bronzer addict. Charlotte Tilbury looks like a winner. Again when Fenty is coming out with 15 shades, it's hard to have 4 shades cover everyone's tone and undertone. The Deep shade will not work on anyone a Mac 55-60. As you and Wayne have picked up the lightest shade will not work on the Fairest skin. So we just have to wait to see if she will extend the range. Its a huge amount and would last a bronzer addict like me about year and a half and I only put it on my face/neck not my body. Yes I wear bronzer when I think my black skin is looking a bit too dull and ashy. I have dry skin so it's good that it does not dry you out.
Oh my gosh your tip to pinch the brush to make it a fan shape is brilliant. I love the look of the new ct bronzer but also love the look of the guerlain not sure which one to go for eek. I think everyone looks healthier with a bit of bronzer hehe.
I thought you did a 3 shape either side of your face with bronzer, always thought that was daft but being doing it for years. It's going all over now, thanks for this xx
Your look is definately better with bronzer. Pulled it all together. Looked fresh and radiant. Always put my blusher on before bronzer it then gives it a very natural look.
Hi Nadine, I could never find a bronzer right for my skin tone. However, I love the Guerlain Terracotta Light in 05 deep cool. It has a flash of two shades of bronze and a pink which makes it look like I have caught the ☀️ and it isn't flat/neutral as it has the pink x
You are the best! Excited about that light Tilbury bronzer. There’s also a nice one from The Balm called Oliver that’s the best one I’ve found for ginger people like me. And the light in Physician’s Formula butter bronzer is nice too.
Great reminder to dig out my bronzer and what a lift it actually gives to your whole look when you demonstrated it. As others have said, it gives you a more youthful glow ... without the shimmer! Actually I prefer the Guerlain over the CT on you but there’s not much in it. However, I’d go with the CT because unaccountably (at least to my mind) the Guerlain has fragrance in it and even talks at some length in the product blurb about the fragrance! Why? I guess it’s aimed at the French market where they seem to like fragrance in their skincare and cosmetics.
Really like the twin pack tip. It makes sense. I should have worked it out myself as I have an Elf twin pack that I keep going back to dispite having some high end single use products. You are so straightforward and wise, but also fun. Thank you x
You look better with the bronzer 😍 must admit I'm always staying on the old 3 style for bronzer application but I will try to put more on my face after this 😘
Just bought the Chanel classic after Jo Good raving about it...but haven't used it yet am crazy about Bronzers and will try the Charlotte Tilbury one...Love your Cat walking in and saying Hello and your looking fab with the Bronzer , thanks you xx
Bronzer all the way! My favourite is a Clarins limited edition from several years ago. It has three rings of an outer darker (probably medium) an inner lighter ring and a centre with a touch of shimmer. It was impressed with zodiac symbols. I can wear it alone without blush as it has a reddish undertone and it makes me look really healthy.
Definitely better with bronzer. I liked the way the charlottes bronzer looked better for some reason on your skin on camera. It seemed more subtle but did the job beautifully.
Have you tried the Beauty Pie bronzer? If so, what do you think of it? I'm also more of a blusher than bronzer wearer, often feel bronzer looks muddy on me.
Better with Bronzer but beautiful anyway. I love the Elizabeth Arden powder which you turn and grind I use that as a bronzer although it’s an everywhere foundation. I just wish you had bought the brush as well as you can’t get it now. Hope they bring it back. Fab video as always 😊xx
Great video- thank you! Years ago I remember being fascinated by ‘Ultra Glow’ which I regularly pinched from my sisters dressing table when she went out 😁
I swear by the hourglass bronzer. So subtle and finely milled. I've had it for 3 years and it's only just running out (I use it daily) so it's great value. I'm tempted to try the new charlotte tilbury one but hourglass have set the bar very high!!
Thank you for everything you share..🙏 So, bronzer AFTER blush? The "rule" is "first blush, after that, bronzer, otherwise you risk looking muddy". But looks like your technique works great!! Looking gorgeous, as always🌹
Very interested to watch this. I’m very pale so I never wear bronzer. I would like to try a light coloured one so very interested to try one of the ones you’ve mentioned on counter when they are open again! Love your videos Nadine, they always male my day x
Hi Nadine, I enjoyed the bronzer demo and new products! I currently have the Chanel cream bronzer but haven’t used it much as I’m not sure the appropriate brush to use. Would you or your subscribers have a recommendation?
I use a dense foundation buffing brush (like a real techniques expert face brush) and dab it on. Or for a lighter look, I use a fluffy brush. If you have the newer formula that seems to have a bit more slip to it than the older one and sounds a bit easier to blend.
I love the real techniques sculpting brush for that bronzer. I’ve got thousands of brushes but the density of these bristles and the angle of the brush picks up and disperses the product well for how much I like to buff it into my hairline and 3 shape around the face 😊
You definitely want a brush that's hair is tightly packed, compact and dense. Basically the opposite of the brushes Nadine used for bronzing. If you press the brush against your palm and they're harder to bend that's what you want. Hope this makes sense. Real techniques have great contour and sculpting brushes. I recommend their everyday essentials set because you get 4 brushes and a sponge for €23 on look fantastic rather than paying almost €20 for one single brush. But only if you'll use them all.
I actually stopped wearing bronzer because I couldn’t find one that would work for my fair skin. I had high hopes for the butter bronzer but I was left dissatisfied and disappointed 😔 It’s too orange for my liking. I need to try the Charlotte Tilbury one! And her contour beauty wand! I’ve heard some great things about those products. Just ordered her Pinkgasm beauty wand 🥰
It's definitely brightened your face and taken a few years off... ordered CT bronzer this weekend (after losing the argument with myself..I need it..no I don't..I need it...no I don't) 😂😂😂😂
Hi Pam what shade did you order lol I’m arguing with myself because I do like fake tan in summer si I thought the tan colour because I love my bronzer but I’m probably the medium shade 🤪
@@janeburke147 I ordered Shade 2 medium. I've hit pan (and it's a big pan lol). I have other bronzers that are a little darker and some the tan shade rather than medium. I find I reach for this most days especially during the winter months for a really natural look as my skin is quite fair right now. It'll depend on your skin tone which colour you choose but doubt you'd go wrong with either shade.
Finally discovered last year that my perioral dermatitis that I got every hayfever season was caused by my steroid inhaler. I was exhaling it down my nose instead of my mouth. I took doxycycline once a day for a month and changed my inhaler technique. It's never been back since. Love ya. 😚
Brilliant post. Will get myself a new bronzer now! Can I ask what you recommend for a good concealer for sun damage spots on the face? Struggling to hide them. X
I'm completely new to bronzers and have only just recently started using Becca's Bali Sands on Sali Hughes rec. I really like it but thought I'd try something with a little more colour. Am confused though as the Guerlain site says that the matte is a sculpting powder? They also have a different powder which they call bronzing? Are you using the sculpting powder as a bronzer here? What's the difference between them? All help gratefully received! :)
I have both of the gurlain bronzers and only use the shimmer one on high points. I tried it all over and it did NOT look good! I do love the smell of the gurlain makeup
I saw so many faves pass here, but I am still looking for the perfect bronzer. I mostly don't even wear any. But I have ordered Charlotte Tilbury and we shall see!! PS: Is it possible to Zoom meet/ socially distantly meet Jo L Jones is the garden, for our viewing and listening pleasure 😂?
I really love the effect of the bronzer on you Nadine🥰 Do you know if theres talc in the Guerlain bronzer? CT is with talc. It clogs my pores.. Love the IT cosmetics bronzer but is way too light for me sadly cause there's no talc in it😊
I've used this for years but I think they have expanded the Guerlain range so much I no longer understand the shades. In the 90s I was Guerlain Bronzing powder in light but now that produce seems to have been replaced with shades in hair colour and now I am half grey I don't know which to pick. the matte sculpting powder comes in light but I don't know if tha has the same soft finish as the original..confused.
Salt New York. She’s a one person company so her supply is in when it’s in but the best formula ever. She has a pre order going now that is shipping in June. But Fenty also has a range cream bronzers.
Hi Nadine - when you do your ceramide vlog, would you add the Dr. Jart Ceramidin liquid if you have access to it before you complete your review. I am in my early 50's and have been using it for about two years and really like it for my dehydrated skin. I think I tried it based on a review by Gothamista at the time. I am looking forward to your vlog so much! This one was great as always. Love your quality, and honest reviews - plus you make me laugh :)

Gorgeous on you!!! I agree with Wayne the light shade needs more pink in it!!
I think they kept it neutral so you can apply any color of blush with it
I use the Bobbi Brown medium bronzer, I’m NC15, but found the golden light shade too orangey. I love this matte bronzer on the eyes as well xx

Guerlain makes the best bronzer!!! Perfect except for the scent. Oh yes, nars original laguna is also amazing.
Better with bronzer, it gives your face more dimension and looks healthier. Great video, thanks Nadine.
The bronze looks so good on you, I like the Charlotte Tillberry best on you
Better with bronzer this time of year for sure x

You look great with bronzer Nadine, definitely one for the everyday makeup bag😍

Hi, which shade did you use of the Tilbury Airbrush bronzer? Thx
Definitely Charlotte Tilbury looks really nice on you in my opinion. Just love your videos ❤️❤️❤️
The bronzer looks gorgeous on you!
I love the colour of the film star bronze and glow bronzer which one is equal to that color many thanks

Bare Minerals Bronzer all day long for me 🤗
@@MartinaMcDonagh Physician's Formula Muru Muru Butter Bronzer; definitely check out their shades. I am quite fair too and can't/don't use bronzers.
