Big Al, Thank you for ruining my married life! You've re-lit a fire under my butt. I grew up in Southeastern Washington state, in heavy agricultural environment. I started coyote hunting at the ripe old age of 14 (I got my agriculture drivers license). My grandfather bought me a Browning bolt gun in a new caliber called 22-250 and a case of ammo. Within 2 weeks, I had my Weaver K4 documented from 200 yards to 600 yards in 50 yard increments. If I could get within 600 yards, the coyote died. I stopped keeping track after my 500th dog. That was on my 16th birthday. I hunted from Pullman to Yakima, and as far North as Spokane, and as far South as Boardman, OR. After leaving the military, I started hunting song songs in Eastern Oregon around Redmond and Bend. The Browning had long been shot out and I was on my second Remington 700 Varmint in the same 22-250 coyote killing machine. Back then, you could go to the county extension agent, and he'd give you the names and number of ranchers that were having coyote trouble. Bounties ran as low as $25 and as much as $100 so I made good money. Now, I'm celebrating my 70th birthday on August 6th. It's been 19 years since my last coyote hunt. I just finished building an AR10 in 6.5CM, an AR15 in 224 Valkyrie, and another in .223 Wylde. All three have 24" E Arthur Brown match barrels and shoot right at 1/2 moa. I also have a new 22-250 Rem. 700 in a MDT chassis, a Savage Long Range Hunter in 6.5x284 Norma also mounted in a MDT chassis, and finally a Savage 10BA Stealth in 6.5CM. The bolt guns also shoot right at 1/2 moa. I was building these rifles for long range competition shooting... I thought!!! I watched this video and started laughing. First of all, you and I could easily be mistaken for brothers. I'm 6'2", 285 pounds, with grey/white hair and a beard. I watched you shooting these wiley beauties and my soul caught fire. I'm heading out next Thursday to do my first trip on the Rubicon trail. It's taken 2 years to get my 2017 JKUR prepared. When I get back from the Rubicon adventure, I'm calling a friend in Susanville to get some rancher's names and I'm going coyote hunting. I'm also headed up around Winnemucca, NV to an area I used to hunt in the 90's. If I run into a bunch of them, I'll shoot you a comment. Maybe Big Al and Big Mike can show those young'uns how uts done! Thanks for lighting the fire... its been dormant too long.
So there in or around Baker field off 166 that sweet I live around 40 miles away from there. Have you guys ever tried to hunt with a air rifle? Something like the umarex hammer 50 Cal. Its good out to 150 two hundred yards. It's always been a dream of mine to hunt with a air gun in California. It would be awesome if you had a air gun hunt. Great shooting and sweet guns.
Hi I live in Azusa, California and we have a frequent coyote visitor. Animal Control has failed to come in. Our closest animal control service has shut down and the service they recommended to us doesn't service Azusa residents. Let me know if you could help me out.
Hi I appreciate the offer but we no longer have a coyote problem. One of the wild cats took care of it. Didn't know a cat could hold it's own against a coyote until now.
U guys are sharp shooters.....love to watch even tho I am a female I love to watch...its fun....Do u guys are look behind u....kill em all...wow it might be a million out coming.....kill em all👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🏆🏆🏆🏆 😀😀😀🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
All smoke and mirrors - fake - no way can two guys kill that many coyotes ! [sarcasm] Better make sure Bob has a case of ammo in the truck . That Foxpro was sounding good it appears .
Too bad you can't sell the furs from California anymore, if someone knows a legal way of doing it in 2020 please let me know, but the population is going to explode if people don't have an incentive to hunt them.
When AL gets excited it gets me all kinds of pumped up!!
He is hilarious when he gets all excited 😂
Bob Morris is like this at the shooting range also, always willing to share his expertise, and help others to have fun & improve their skills.
Big Al Morris, Bob and his Camera/Shotgun 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

No Way!!!!! I love coyote hunting so much!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent show. Didn’t know one could use these electronic calling decoys to hunt varmints in California.
I had a buddy say that too and I can’t find anywhere where it says you can’t. Then these guys out here publicly doing it.
Everyman should enjoy their work as much Al Morris does
Man! That was epic! When I first saw Bob with the shotgun I was thinking he might get one or two at the most. No way he stands a chance against Al with the rifle. Holy crap was I ever wrong!!! That guy is friggin deadly!

Excited to get involved in the community .
Bob takes AMAZING photos!
I'm impressed that he can take great pictures and then switch to get a good shot. Doing both well requires real skill.
"Sit down and shut up, Al, 4 and 5 may be coming." LMAO Been there, done that.

I could watch yotes getting shotgunned and Al with his school boy excitement all day. Can’t wait to get started in the next few days.👍. Awesome video. Awesome shooting, awesome everything
Because we’re California, these dogs get little to no hunting pressure.

Al Morris did you guys notice lower numbers in NV this year? I know we did in northern nv for sure. Thoughts as to why?
@@mikehoncho7033 The pups all parvoed or distempered out., they all died so you only had the mature coyotes left.
Awesome story to top off an awesome episode! God speed brother
That old dude...RULES
Great video! Thanks for your nice work
What do they do with the dead coyotes?
3.5-18X50 is priced @$1499.00 .... yeh I am 100% sure you love that riflescope.
You keep shooting them from that far and Nancy will ban scopes

Is this public hunting land? I didn’t know you could do that in Cali
Al What load are you using in that Shotgun ? Lmk know buddy
3" 12ga 1-1/2 oz reloads of HW13 BB shot. You have to use lead free shot in California.
I would be really pissed if you yeld like that after shooting the coyot with me
Nicely done guys 👍. I sure do need a Shockwave now.
Great shooting. Bolt action, what make and caliber?
That was a Ruger RPR in 243, 80 gr gmx bullets

Foxpro call was great! Al Morris will never be on a hunt with me!
It's the other way around

What a loud mouth !!! A guy who stands up and starts yelling when calling coyotes is not what I look for a hunting partner.
Fr bruh 😂
What shell is bob shooting ???????????????????????????????????????????
I used Federal Heavyweight BB Coyote 3" loads and 3" re-loads with 1-1/2 oz of HW13 BB shot in this video.
3" 12ga 1-1/2 oz reloads of HW13 BB shot. You have to use lead free shot in California.

Save the shouts for camp not the fields.

Do coyotes still bother you. I'd love to come to take them.
Hi I appreciate the offer but we no longer have a coyote problem. One of the wild cats took care of it. Didn't know a cat could hold it's own against a coyote until now.

Thats a bolt action and by the the way we have Ar's and ak's here they are just configured a little different
Yup we still have ARs here lol
I have 3 A.Rs and they're all configured differently from each other....that definitely is one of a kind Bolt Action.
Lotta hate for someone who gets excited!
Are these tame coyotes? Wow, I’ve never seen anything like this in my lifetime of calling dogs.
