Rashad was an average NBA player at best. Let’s not rewrite history and make it seem like he was a beast. He wasn’t talented enough for organizations to deal with his attitude and lack of professionalism. Listen to what he said “for a guy that hadn’t got it, I was moving around like I already had it”. He was considered god in college (his words) and he Took that mindset to the NBA.

Yeah and look what it got him. When you're not good enough to be a starter in the nba, attitude and getting along with others is paramount ( asst-coaches,trainers,work hard in practice and be humble, etc, etc, ) save and invest that nba check for the eventual day the league kicks you to the curve. LOL.

So they blackballed a guy who averaged 15 at his best? Or was his attitude too much to handle for an average player

Rashad McCants was on no limit back when they rebranded to no limit forever. He rapped under the name Suni Blac. He had a joint with Gucci Mane and a song I produced that featured Black Don called recognize. It was on one of the early Nlf mixtapes.

The knock on McCants was he didn’t contribute much else if he wasn’t scoring. Teams can find a guy worth 15 points a game that can do much more. He says he was blackballed, but he tells on himself. An average player in the NBA moving and acting like a superstar is why he ultimately never got a second contract. They Ran Denzel Valentine out the league for the same reason and he didn’t have all the off the court stuff going on as McCants. There’s a low tolerance for guys who aren’t self aware

Ppl weren't looking at him like "wtf he doing?" in a jealous way. It was about him having a big head. He didn't do 💩 in terms of the NBA to have that AI energy. If you listen to him talk he talks as if he was that dude, so imagine the energy he had when he was younger. He labeled himself "Him" w/o the resume

BLACK ATHLETES ARE SUBJECTED TO " PLACISM" FAR MORE THAN WHITE ATHLETES. OF JJ REDDICK WERE BLACK WITH ATTITUDE ANDNHIS PERFORMANCE IN HIS FIRST COUPLE OF YEARS WOTH THE MAGIC HE WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT OFNTHRBLEAGUENIN 3 YEARS JUSTBLIKE MCANTS. INSTEAD THEY GAVE REDDICK THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOPE AND THRIVE . NOW REDDICK IS ABOUT TO BE A HEAD COACH OF THE LAKERS AFTER TRASHING A "CHAMPIONSHIP" BLACK HEAD COACH. "PLACISM" IS A " TOOL"OF RACISM
