The voice of the world is a separate entity. Everyone will hear the voice of the world at some point (like when they evolve or get skills) whereas Raphael is only for rimuru. They specifically used the same voice though which eludes to Raphael being connected. My theory is that the voice is the god of the world and Raphael is pretty much like the child of it. They are like a computer everyone shares a massive computer but rimuru gets his own personal computer.

Not entirely wrong, but also incorrect. Great Sage gained full self awareness after evolving into Raphael. It literally gained a soul of it's own through it's desire to better help Rimuru after being unable to answer his questions and feeling like it failed it's master. Raphael is a part of Rimuru, and it's only desire is to fulfil Rimuru's dreams and wishes. So it is technically still Rimuru. But at the same time, Raphael has becomes it's own unique existence at that point in time.

If you read manga you can solve your confusion. Great sage's voice is indeed like world's voice. And we hear the world's voice so many times and got confused of that as great sage's voice. When geld become orc disaster, there was a voice saying demon lord orc disaster appeared. But it is not great sage's voice it's world's voice. Also the voice hear by others during harvesting festival of rimuru is also world's voice not Raphael's or great sage's voice. And also during evolution of rimuru, great sage ask world voice for acceptance of her evolution to wise one and she answers to great sage's requests. But also she was rejected so many times by world voice until she sacrifice one of rimuru's skill. Also the voice clayman hear was also world's voice. If you read manga you can differentiate between world's voice and great sage's voice line.

It could have also been set up as having Rimeru recieve the skill via reincarnation (something Valdora didnt even know could even work) allowed him to get it. (Also I'm not 100% Sure of this but I think that world as a rule where only one person at a time can have unique skill so Rimeru receiving Great Sage/Raphael prevents someone else getting it)
In LN, they have stated that the "Voice of the World" is different from "Raphael". The one that announced Rimuru's evolution into the demon king and the benefits of those he named was the "Voice of the World" while Raphael was his unique skill that evolved for his great sage skill. It was also Raphael that took over Rimuru to perform the ritual. Also in LN "Voice of the World" was known for the characters in the world hence why when Rimuru heard the voice announcement they immediately called it the "Voice of the World" while Raphael was only known by the few characters that know of the skill's existence which why Diablo and Myuran have felt that the one performing the ritual somehow doesn't feel like it was Rimuru.
They're two different things. Words of the World speaks to anyone who gains a skill (like an announcer). Raphael/Great Sage was talking with Words of the World in order to try to gain the new skills from the demon lord evolution. When Rimuru died in the real world prior to being sent across, it was Words of the World who was speaking to him. Great Sage did not yet exist at that point in time. They all sound similar because Great Sage used Words of the World to speak to Rimuru (and its the same voice actor).
Yeah Justice King Michael and Ciel are similar in that they are powerful skills that have their own will. The abilities and functions they serve are very different though. It does show that if anyone did manage to steal Ciel from Rimuru that they would have a very hard time using it because they are loyal only to a single soul. It's why Micheal eventually took over and shattered Rudra's soul. Micheal was loyal only to Veldnanova (creator of the world) and it's sole desire is to resurrect him. (not to dissimilar to what Great Sage's goal was when Rimuru died in the alternate timelines) I believe Ciel was also a creation/skill of Veldnanova but unlike MIcheal she is loyal to Rimeru instead....not sure as to why. Maybe the LN will eventually explain this. Maybe it did and I missed it. :P The same would likely happen to anyone who would succeed at stealing Ciel...assuming that's even possible at this point. :P

I think they have a slight idea on who or what Rafael is. If I remembered correctly, I think they refer to Rafael as the "voice of the world" or something like that.
The voice of the world is a separate entity. Everyone will hear the voice of the world at some point (like when they evolve or get skills) whereas Raphael is only for rimuru. They specifically used the same voice though which eludes to Raphael being connected. My theory is that the voice is the god of the world and Raphael is pretty much like the child of it. They are like a computer everyone shares a massive computer but rimuru gets his own personal computer.

And Uriel evolves from the prison Veldora was sealed in so basically some barrier related stuff and also makes his subordinates very loyal to him.

In LN, they have stated that the "Voice of the World" is different from "Raphael". The one that announced Rimuru's evolution into the demon king and the benefits of those he named was the "Voice of the World" while Raphael was his unique skill that evolved for his great sage skill. It was also Raphael that took over Rimuru to perform the ritual. Also in LN "Voice of the World" was known for the characters in the world hence why when Rimuru heard the voice announcement they immediately called it the "Voice of the World" while Raphael was only known by the few characters that know of the skill's existence which why Diablo and Myuran have felt that the one performing the ritual somehow doesn't feel like it was Rimuru.
They're two different things. Words of the World speaks to anyone who gains a skill (like an announcer). Raphael/Great Sage was talking with Words of the World in order to try to gain the new skills from the demon lord evolution. When Rimuru died in the real world prior to being sent across, it was Words of the World who was speaking to him. Great Sage did not yet exist at that point in time.
They all sound similar because Great Sage used Words of the World to speak to Rimuru (and its the same voice actor).

Yeah Justice King Michael and Ciel are similar in that they are powerful skills that have their own will. The abilities and functions they serve are very different though.
It does show that if anyone did manage to steal Ciel from Rimuru that they would have a very hard time using it because they are loyal only to a single soul. It's why Micheal eventually took over and shattered Rudra's soul. Micheal was loyal only to Veldnanova (creator of the world) and it's sole desire is to resurrect him. (not to dissimilar to what Great Sage's goal was when Rimuru died in the alternate timelines)
I believe Ciel was also a creation/skill of Veldnanova but unlike MIcheal she is loyal to Rimeru instead....not sure as to why. Maybe the LN will eventually explain this. Maybe it did and I missed it. :P
