Interesting that Vergil and Dante's demon glowy energy is different when they use Beowulf. Vergil's is Blue and Dante's is white. Seems to show a difference in how they use their Devil Arms. Vergil forces the Devil Arm to bend to his will and uses more of his power than it's, but Dante merges with and becomes one with his Devil Arms.
I have this head canon that Dante Uses Liechtenauer/German fencing while Vergil Uses Kenjutsu specifically Yagyu Shinkagen Ryu (just a more cautious, footwork and distance focused version), the thing is these 2 styles are often compared to be the most similar of the fencing styles in the West and East at least when it comes to 2 handed swords (both are fairly aggressive styles, both use attacks as both offensive and defensive techniques and both use a lot ofcuts and slashes) so not only is it possible for a student of Liechtenauer to learn Kenjutsu faster and vice versa but kind of adds to the brothers relationship in a way as despite their differences they really have a lot more commonlities than meets the eye. (Not to mention they both likely practice Karate) Edit: there are specific moves unique from the other but both have the same basic principles so the differences are more about the weapon's themselves and less the use of said weapons.
