Loved this in 85 through a SID chip, love this nearly 40 years later. The GOAT of gaming music. Inspired by, but much better than the Dick Barton theme. Thank you, Rob!
Every few months I look for this song again on youtube, and watch a couple of clips. Absolutely one of the more impressive performances of this song! And with the man, the myth, the legend, behind the keyboard!

So cool. I think I watch some version of this song atleast once a month on youtube, very much happely surpised to see this version! Amazing performance! Never get tired of it!
I used to load the game just so I could listen to the music. This is just a brilliant video, awesome guitar solo! Just as I imagined all those years ago!
Hopefully we'll have a musical celebration of a "post covid" nature :). Man that will be like a Live Aid 1985 all over again we never really had a decent repeat of that. I know that had the other Live Aid re-hash but back in the day we had some real stars doing it. Just have to Google the line up in 1985 but this type of collaboration a C64 musician with a band is wonderful it puts a new feel to what can be achieved. It would be great to have David Whittaker, Tim Follin , Ben Dalgleish, and Rob Hubbard and others mixing some AY with SID right now making one decent track together kind of an Ocean Loader mix up and all the game theme tunes ..starting off with the Robocop/Ariston theme tune would be quite something but also adding in some Spectrum "beeper" 1 bity channel music for someof the guitar sounds (Chronos/Agent X)
Holy crap! The guitarist really nailed it! So nice to see Mr Hubbard himself joining them.

Wonderful performance. I met all the old legends in real life: like Rob Hubbard, Chris Huelsbeck, Ben Daglish. Matt Gray, David Wise etc.
Rob Hubbarb is to C64 Games, as Ennio Morricone is to Spaghetti Westerns
Rob invented game music.
Most accurate (and unflinching in the face of technical difficulty) rendition I’ve heard!
Finally that part played on a guitar at accurate speed and with only one incorrect note around 3:12 .
thank you Rob Hubbard for letting me know this musical and programing masterpiece for about 40 years of my life

Absolutely brilliant. That solo was nailed perfectly and even Rob was impressed.
I think it still surprises Rob that we’re listening to and talking about his music 40 years later.
