i found this performance to have more replay value than that 18-17-20 game vs the Knicks, his passing was so pure in this game. I hope one day hopefully next season he has his first 20 point, 20 assists game. just can't wait to see him play next year, really looking forward to see how Stevens system will work, and hope Rondo and Green create a fun, and very productive duo, hopefully guys like Sullinger, Brooks and Bradley show some solid improvements in their games.
Rondo is the best point guard in the NBA and he proves it every time the playoffs come around. While other points are out playing at their normal level or under performing, he has been consistently raising his game tremendously in the last few years during the playoffs.
Rajon Rondo & LeBron James are 2 of the only players in the NBA that can absolutely dismantle a team on both ends of the floor... its ridiculous
He was put in as a replacement. We should all vote for him this upcoming season because with all his greatness, he must be a starter!!!!!

I have Always said Rondo is #! pure point in the NBA...Tonight he showed what happens when he decides to score instead of passing....People say he's no good without the Big 3...but the day he is the only star on the team...he will be averaging 30+ points....and the other players will benefit cuzz he is just that good to average 10+ assist a game...even when he's not trying...Celtics better not trade him...EVER!!!....he will be the greatest PG in the nba for a long time...
right now? he has been best point guard for most of the season. he's on like 30 games straight with 10 plus assists per game, he is beasting, and 8 career triple doubles in play-offgames, 3 behind bird now, and one ahead of LBJ

It always surprises me how the Celtics excelled late in that lockout season without Kendrick Perkins or Jeff Green
I like watching Rondo play... why the hell did he have to tear his acl. Last year I couldn't watch my favorite player Derrick Rose play, now I can't watch Rondo play for who knows how long. I wish him a speedy recovery even though he is a rival and I don't particularly like him, I just LOVE to watch him play. He's one of my favorite point guards to watch, right next to Derrick Rose and Russel Westbrook.
Rondo likes improving his game and doesn't want to get injured anymore. I follow him on the Internet and he is fully recovered from last years injury of his ACR and his Dislocated elbow. He will be as amazing as ever and dunking alot. There will be a consistent jumpshot soon guys

I'm a Celtic fan and I put rondo at second place behind cp3, but when rondo's free throws, three pointers and he averages 18 points per game and 12 assist, he will be the best pg in the nba.
Rondo is a beast, and when he plays like this the celtics are guaranteed to win cause when he is aggressive like this, everyone else on the team has no choice but to be aggressive as well!

there are better scoring point guards.. but this season, rondo is my overall number one POINT guard. Terrific vision, plus he brings even more maturity and continuity to the floor, which very few point guards have done this season. Too bad Rose is out. He's just as entertaining

I can see where you're coming from, but those are also stats from a fairly long time ago. His jumpshot as a whole improved a lot before his injury, and with his recovery he'll probably improve it a lot more.

Damn..he's small but amazing
Not saying he doesn't deserve those rebounds because he's the one putting in the effort to chase it but just saying that people who think he's some superior rebounder which puts him over other pg is just dumb when you can easily look at how he's getting those rebounds. Rondo was also a scorer first in HS/College, didn't look like it translate well into the nba.

Defensively sure, but the C's are playing great because KG,Pierce,rondo,bass are all healthy and playing great all around basketball. It has nothing to do with Ray Allen being out. Also you can see the celtics are in over drive, they are fighting for a position in the playoffs. The urgency is much higher than ast month, the C's want to play well going into the playoffs for a boost of confidence. :)
PGs doesn't need much percentage of three pointing. PGs may not be so skillfull in moves and scoring,.but they are a good team leader, a good passer, a great play maker! only Rondo has it!!! :D

Rondo is such a unique player... I personally don't think he's the best point guard in the NBA, I think Rose and Paul are better and I feel that Westbrook is having a better season overall this year (+ he's winning) but when you look at Rondo he has some games where he just fills the stat sheet and he's really the straw that stirs that Celtic Engine as Barkley once said lol, have to respect certain parts of his game for sure

Brooklyn could take them in 5-6 games in the playoffs. It looks like refs are beginning to let players hoop now without calling bogus fouls. Idk if you saw the Pelicans, and Wolves game the other night, but the refs were just letting them hoop. No touch fouls, no flagrant fouls. If it was a foul it was legitimately a foul. The Heat can't handle that kind of style of play. If it comes down to that in the playoffs. Any team can really take them lol. Hawks, Nets, Bulls, Knicks, Pacers. It's over for them by the 2nd round at the latest.
And if you look at the date of this video, it's 2 years old so I don't know why you're posting an irrelevant comment. What they did 2 years ago is not the reason they've had a lackluster season. I get you don't like the Heat but this video is about Rondo, not the Heat.

I'd say allen is still one of the best SG in the league.. you can't afford too see him end up in other teams right.? its just that we can't utilize him as much.. he draws defenders and that's already good.. think about it if ray allen ends up in chicago or in OKC.? i think our boston team can't handle that
He is lucky? He's one of the top rebounding point guards in the league. The reason he gets them is because he gets in the paint. The only ones that are lucky are the ones that bounce out to him at about the free throw line or further. You must not watch him play too much, he is one of the best attacking point guards. How do you think he gets so many points? It usually isn't because of his jump shots.

Now that rondo is a consistent shooter i think hes better than nash. he is 6 ft 1 and can rebound at a level above his height, he can pass great, he's hard in the paint, hes one of the league leaders in stealing and now he can shoot. hes definitely better than nash. like if you agree
