I find the comment funny about Chloe making Morgan & Bianca audition to let each candidate have a "fair" shot at the captain spot because it's damn surefunny she didn't make Shannan & Tierra even Feke which I think didn't want captain audition this year... My thing is why come in starting something new & fresh & then the next year stop??? I thought that idea was amazing of Chloe... At least that would have gave her a glimpse of what the squads would look like on the field for the upcoming season... Now I'm a dieeeeee hard fan.. It is what it is but Tierra is doing an amazing job & she's beautiful at the time! I think it would've been cool to keep the individual auditions to make things fair, but I guess maybe she didn't do it because she actually had a season to watch and observe the ladies as director versus not knowing or being familiar enough with them first coming in. Mrs. Worthy didn't audition captains when she was director and I like for Chloe to take some of the same direction. That individual audition may just have been a one time only or maybe will be occur like an solar eclipse, lol. But yeah I feel Dominique & Diamond are equal, both are strong dancers w/leadership qualities; Only time will tell. Tierra and Shannon both auditioned for captain... they did the same routine, nobody knew who was captain until Mrs. Crowley anounced it... Feke didn't want to try out for captain, she is very comfortable with her tail position...
MrUSMC1999 I can tell Feke is comfortable right where she is. She has been my favorite Tail. Besides some people have more fun in the background than up front.

Charlotte got captain her first year because Mea decided to run for Ms. JSU, and Worthy had to chose between Charlotte, Charlene or Mae Mae. Had Mea not ran, Worthy would have chosen her. Chloe makes the seniors audition.

Shanketta and Coretta where the next contenders since they were upcoming juniors. But yeah Morgan & Bianca auditioned because Chloe was new coming in and wanted to make it fair. From my understanding Tierra and Shannan didn't audition like they did w/individual routines. Morgan taught them the Summer Routine and they both demonstrated it. Chloe announced Tierra at the end of Tryouts. I know that's ALOT of 411 but I'm a die hard fan/supporter. I love my girls! lol..
I agree, I was really trying not to make this a topic of discussion sooo early in the season but however, lol. I love them both, but it's just really something about Dominique even when she tried out in 2012 I was like. I can really see her being captain one day. She had a was to go as far as mastering the J-Settes Style which wasn't too much of an issue. But I believe on that end it was easier for Diamond as far as energy and actually bucking being that she's was a DD. Dominique was more soft served but kept that form in tact. Her sophomore year she came out the gate bucking. She most definitely has leadership skills because she was captain in HS and for that All-Star Band in Augusta.Diamond is also very creative so she would bring a lot of new things.They both are great dancers and have led. It's going to really be a tough one. I guess we shall see once Dom is back in the stands and on the field this weekend because you really don't have anything recent to compare the two with. After them with the 2013 crew, I feel like it maybe another situation similar to the 2011 crew. If Cip indeed comes back next year that will possibly put her in the running. Maybe even Kierra too. Kelsey has to work out some kinks. Jewel is really good and her mistakes are little to none. I want to see her bring a little more fire though. Excuse this long paragraph. My intentions were not to make this a forum topic. lol.
