Hello Chris, I have Aspergers as well, I have a fascination with Zoology and your story has helped me feel more “normal” and to accept myself for who I am, at the moment I am struggling with the self isolation because my routine has changed and I don’t particularly like it. I am trying to get good grades at college so I can go to Southampton University to study Adult Nursing. Hope you stay well Chris! I saw a Great Crested Grebe today and a Brown rat.
I've been roaming the forest with my dad today introducing him to our avian fauna. Keeps your mind away from it all and who knows - I might no longer be the only birder in the family. Take care - greetings from Germany!
I have rewilded my garden - and I have lots of celandine. I found your piece really interesting - pilewort, toxic and Wordsworth.! I knew about the poem, but not his wish to have the flower engraved on his tombstone, Thanks so much Chris. The bumblebees loved my almond blossom ( fading now) - full of bumblebees, Worried about Asian hornets coming to Sussex. They have been spotted in Kent and Hampshire,
Thanks Chris - nice to retain some perspective in all this. Here in south-west France the celandines have been out for some weeks now as Spring has been exceptionally mild (climate change no doubt). Have to say they spread like wildfire - ours seem to multiply exponentially and as you say those little 'piles ' just break off in the soil so any attempt to eradicate them is futile. I have given up long ago and let all things do as they wish within reason.
Your celandine is much further ahead than ours (in NI) always surprised by the difference a bit of latitude makes! Many thanks and keep up the good work.
Loved SIBC - thank you Chris and Megan and everyone who was involved ❤
Thank you for making these wonderful little videos Chris. They are lovely to watch and you are as informative and inspiring as ever

Always a delight to watch you! Yes it’s a life saver to get out for a nature watch if you can.
