Tell @wittworks to grow a beard like a real woodworker!
Also, sitting standing converting electronic desks are cool, whatever you call them. So is walnut. That is all.
YOURE A MONSTER. IVE BEEN GROWING A BEARD FOR 3 YEARS AND THIS IS ALL I HAVE. AND YES I KNOW THE CAPS ARE ON. ITS intentional. ❤
Aaaaand....there's the pinned comment. :)
😂😂😂😂. Rogaine... maybe it's not just for scraps any more? 😅
Be happy you still have some on the top. I saw those facial hair wisps covered in saw dust in 1 or 2 of your videos (pre-deluge).
Maybe the gray ones will show up better on camera?
Look at Worsty here -- his beard shows up better on camera because of all that dust he keeps oiled in.
Yes, I am laughing at you. 😜✌🏻
Wonderful job quoting Proverbs 31! Wonderful work on the desktop!
Thank you so much!
Your channel will have so many subscribers in the near future! Thanks for sharing your family and projects with everyone.
Thanks! I'm grateful for the ones I have. Our audience is pretty incredible.
That was superb man your family is beautiful, thank you for sharing. Well done Mount-It for supporting you all.
Thanks for your support, Andrew!
What a blessing to have a Proverbs 31 bride! I've been blessed the same way. Keep up the great work, my brother in the Lord. I'm really enjoying your videos. You have such a great personality, and I love the cameos from your family! --David
Thank you! She's more a blessing that I can really communicate.
This was an awesome video! Thank you for sharing. The end honestly made me tear up. Beautiful table and beautiful family.
Thank you so much!
Great job on the table-the look on your wife’s face was epic! What make your channel so awesome is having your girls by your side learning life skills and some woodworking skills too.
Thanks so much. It took her a few days to sink in, honestly. She kept coming back to say she loves it. Sure makes me happy.
i like your style of telling a little story together with your family. It was a pleasure to watch this video...as always. Best regards from germany
All the best, meine freunde!
you have just made the most heartfelt video i have ever seen
That's incredibly kind. Thank you.
That’s a beautiful desk. I’ve been wanting one of these for so long. I’m using your video for when I’m ready to build mine. And now I don’t have to search for the legs. They’re with this video 😄
Awesome! Thank you!
Looks great! Mrs. Worst Workshop is very lucky.
Nah. I've got the better part of this deal, for sure.
Very nice production David! Bravo! Sweet desk project!
Thanks, Mark!
It turned out beautifully! All of you did a wonderful job! I hope you, your wife, and kids have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for reminding me that I need to get back in my shop again. We are finally only getting into the 80s for highs up here with the occasional 90+ sprinkled in for spice. It beats those 100+ days we were having a few weeks ago.
Are you in Texas too? I forgot. I was out in the shop today with the air conditioner running and it was nice!
@@worstworkshop I'm about 500 miles NNE of your area in Council Grove, KS. Our summers aren't quite as hot as yours, but our winters are a lot colder. It's also one of the few areas in Kansas that isn't flat, it is right in the middle of the Flint Hills.
Sounds really nice!
@@worstworkshop It is pretty nice, I live right on the city lake here, which is about 6 miles or so out of town. The fish are finally starting to bite a little, so I'm finding it hard to find time to work in the workshop.
Great video! Loved the Eshet Chayil at the end, nice touch😀
Thank you, and shalom!
I love that drum sander man.
I love it too, except when I'm stuck behind it for hours on end. Then I love it slightly less.
Proverbs 31. Perfect!
Thank you, Heidi!
It turned out great! It was awesome to see how much joy it brought.
I was legitimately surprised it turned out so well.
Great video. What a nice family. Keep it up!
Thank you so much!
That guy @wittworks recommended you to me a while ago. You never come up short in your video's You will have to excuse Drew, obviously he has an issue with facial hair, or the lack there of. I still love him though! It is great to see the ladies In the shop with dad.
We all love Drew. He's one of the best guys on the platform.
@@worstworkshophow dare you
Great job! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I know I’ve said this before but I just love your posts. The girls are progressing nicely with their skills. You’re a great dad.
Thank you so much! I'm very proud of them. I have a dream that someday they'll pick up where I left off. We'll see.
Nice job, you got it down now.
Thanks!
Great job guys, the desk turned out great. Look forward to the next project. The psalm at the end was a perfect touch. May God continue to bless your family and grow the channel to be the absolute best Worst Workshop 😀.
Thanks so much!
Beautiful work, dude! Amazing looking desk!!! 😃
Your wife seems to love it! So, win-win in my book!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I certainly will, my friend. All the best.
Love it man. Keep up the great work
Thank you!
Aww that was very sweet, what a lovely thing to do. And you can all say you had a hand in making it! Great stuff!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you! We have a few pieces I've built in the home. I'd love to one day fill the house with handcrafted furniture.
Soon after getting the board started on the jointer, I believe are supposed to transition the pressure to the outfeed table. That allows the rest of the cut referenced off of the part that has already been jointed.
That makes a lot of sense. I think that would work even with a board longer than the jointer. Thanks. I'm gonna experiment, and maybe I can post a correction video soon.
This is awesome! Fantastic video and great project! Well done mate!
Thanks, man! Hope we get to meet soon.
0:54 Ooof, just continuing to put pressure _before_ the cutter instead of moving it to _after_ the cutter once you have the "flat" part that can move on the outfeed part of the jointer. Just saw the first end have a gap down to the table.
At least you took the time to explain that you wouldn't get a flat part with keeping pressure behind the cutter and thus making it just follow the same curve.
Otherwise a great video, love to watch your videos.
Right. I know now. Just didn't then. Thanks!
@@worstworkshop We all have to learn for ourselves. I really appreciate your humor (and the humor of your kids) and I've binged your videos.
I don't have either a jointer or a planer. I'm thankful I got to use one from someone I know for preparing an oak slab for making some projects from. I'd seen so many videos on woodworking by then that I had learned how to use the jointer and planer.
If I hadn't I would've had to use a plane. That would've been a lot of work...
I love this project a d you gave me a few ideas for my channel. Keep going mate!!
Awesome! But if they're bad ideas, it's not my fault! :)
Nicely done sir!
Thanks. I like your new workbench!
@@worstworkshop appreciate that! thanks for checking it out!
@worstworkshop It was a fun build and its my best performer so far. Hope it makes people know they don't need workshop benches that are over complicated or extremely expensive to build. I am going to eventually do another video with some upgrades to it (with more reclaimed materials of course! lol)
@@MJLWoodWorks I've been planning and refining the plans for a workbench for so many years. I think I'll build it soon, so I'm consuming bench videos again.
@@worstworkshop excellent! I cannot wait to see the video! Will the girls be involved again? I have to get my two daughters back un the shop with me at some time also. They enjoy the holiday crafting and Halloween is right around the corner.
This table doubles as my outfeed table so I am planning putting in some sort of dust collection and storage on the bottom and some dog holes on the top portion near the vice. I have a second, smaller vice I may install on the side also.
Your girls are so cool! I love that they like to work in the shop with you. Mine lost interest after 12 years old.
They're awesome. Thanks for watching!
Btw if you just put pressure in the center of
The board and create one flat edge and go from there. Some people like to joint the bottom first.
I think you're right. I'm gonna test it out today and see if I can figure out how to do it correctly.
😂😂 I have never don't that with a planner..... I have also never chage my planners blades. 😅 hope i didn't just jinx myself. Great job on the desk!
Incoming metal inclusion...
Amazing job!!!! I want this desk. I will check out the link.
Thanks, Rebekah. If you want a super-easy desktop idea, let me know!
@@worstworkshop definitely
Also, I like that you are questioning Drew’s ability to grow a proper beard. We’ve all wondered the same thing, trust me.
It's like the hairs are trying to push their way out, but can't quite make it.
😂😂😂😂
Dewalt users. Am I right?
HA!!!
@@wittworks You hit that one on the head.
There's a trick, infeed and outfeed tables basically, the problem is to get everything on the same plane.
I struggled with the same problem first few times I used my small jointer
Yeah. People think if they just had the tools they could make things. It's really about knowing how to use the tools.
@@worstworkshop I used to think the same, then I saw Mathias Wandell getting an old IKEA shelving unit and starting the industrial revolution.
That guy is brilliant. I've watched him for years.
Hey oh spaghettio, I made first comment lol.
This team always makes great content! Makes me want to get in the shop and crank out some projects!
Congratulations! Get yer butt out there!
Funny thing about these desk frames I've noticed, buying the frame alone can cost more than a full desk. Makes me think i should just buy the full desk and make my own top for it.
I think it depends on what kind of desk you're looking at. If it's a hand-built frame, it probably took more time than the table top to build, and nobody care but woodworkers. These are an easy win.
New sub!! 🖖
Welcome!!
Oh, I see you have 3 daughters!
I know. She's six years younger than me, but looks at least 15-20 years younger. :)
Someone could make some serious cash making those for $350 and selling them for $2k!
Yeah. Why are we wasting our time making RUclips videos??
Ever time I watch one of your videos I think, is that Tom Hanks? Then, I don’t see Wilson so I know I’m not watching Castaway.
Are you sure I'm not Tom Hanks?
Please wear dust mask 😷 always when working with sawdust.. your daughters are inhaling all the dust .. very bad for the 🫁 .. be safe..
Thanks. With the Summer temperatures, the pre-eminent danger was heat. But you're right. We need to put on dust masks. Especially the girls.
You did good! Most importantly “mama was happy”. 😂
I learned how to better cope with concave and convex board situations better from Jay Bates.
I went and found which one here and the info starts around 10:20 (ruclips.net/video/igCVqORiw-U/видео.html). Hope it helps you like it did me.
He also has a few specifically on jointing wider boards that can just be searched.
I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. I'll watch that, for sure!
awesome dad
whole family in the shop shoes you a4e a family man
not a garage king
Another Worst Workshop video! I had decent tools and I could never turn out something like this. I think I was just in the hobby to have the tools...
Good enough reason, if you ask me.
