Great video. I like watching Elizabeth cooking in her kitchen. Her enthusiasm is precious. I like that she tells us about her pretty dishes and pottery. The meal looked fantastic and made me wish I was at your table. One question: How many portions is each recipe? It looks like the sweet and sour pork made enough for 4 to 6 people. Great job Bill and Elizabeth. Hugs from another Floridian.

I probably would be more inclined to use ThriveLife food during the winter months, and use fresh veggies in the summer. Nothing beats fresh. But I bet ThriveLive stuff tastes pretty good!
Hi Bill and Elizabeth, I so enjoyed this Cooking with Thrive Life. I'm in Canada and you encouraged me to join the company. I was a consultant years ago, but, didn't stick with it, but, I'm in a time of my life where it will work now. Thank you for your motivation. I adore both of you and never miss an episode. Keep on Keeping on.
I am completely sold on Thrive Life! I plan to buy a chef pack while they are on sale this month, and my pantry REALLY needs some work! I usually watch at least a couple of your videos each day, and I have really enjoyed them all. I love that you have over a thousand videos, and I am looking forward to watching them all. But as busy as you are, when do you both find time to sleep!!??😜😉
With shooting and editing videos, answering comments, and managing my Thrive Life business (training team members, etc) it’s a full-time job, for sure. We are definitely NOT retired, as many people seem to think.
@@LiveSimpleLiveFree From all I've seen, it sometimes looks like you are in two places at one time. It make me feel like a slacker!! You definitely set the bar pretty high!! Thanks again!!🙂
Elizabeth is Celiac and must eat gluten free. There are very few Thrive Life items that she CANNOT eat! Gluten is the protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. Which means that all fruits and vegetables are naturally gluten free. When you go into the fresh produce department at the grocery store, you can eat everything there without gluten issues. Well, Thrive Life is the same way. It’s just a freeze dried grocery store. Each can is just one ingredient, with nothing else added. So, since peas are naturally gluten free, Thrive’s peas are naturally gluten free. It’s the same with all of Thrive’s fruits and vegies. All of the nutritional information, and also serving sizes and number of servings in a can, for Thrive Life foods can be found on the website. Go to “Shop,” then click on a product category. Then select an item and click on the picture (NOT the “Quick Shop.”) When you are on any individual product page, you will see a picture of the product. Right under that picture are some thumbnails of other pictures. One of those is a picture of the label on the package, which will show all of the ingredients and the nutritional information, servings sizes and servings per can. You can look there to see if a product has wheat, barley, or rye in it. Thrive Life has the best gluten free flour we have ever had, and we use it all the time. It is listed in the “Limited Time” category of “Shop.” Limited means that it is only available occasionally. So grab it when it’s in stock!
Here’s an idea…get a magnet and you can “pin” your recipe sheet to the back of one of your hanging pans….so you can free a hand and read the recipe all in the same area.
Looks so tasty, although I don't eat pork. Does the sale price apply to the kit that I would buy to become a consultant? Even if not I certainly would want to try one of the chef packs because everything is be there to make a really good meal😊
You can always try one of the other chef packs, southwest, chicken or ground beef. The sale price only applies to the June monthly specials. The consultant kit is not on special. They don’t generally put that on special price.
I use Thrive Life for the most part as long-term food storage but there are a few things I use often. I use the onion the most but the milk and celery come in next. I have only found one product I didn't really like so I just don't buy it. I find it saves me money on the products I use regularly because these are things that tend to spoil before being used.
That looks really good but do they offer a lower carb version of recipes there a whole lot of sugar in that pork them you have rice with it which is even more carbs if ua diabetic are that their sugar would be so high just wandering do they offer that low carb
They have these few recipes in the Chef packs (They do not have low-carb Chef Packs). But the great thing about Thrive Life is that it is just a freeze dried grocery store. So you can buy all of the individual ingredients you need to cook all of your own favorite low-carb recipes.
Gotcha I was thinking about that just half to find a great alternative to the sweet part looked like you both really was enjoying it made me want some lol but my sugar would be through the roof thanks for the info
Love this! Question - is it just pork that has only a two week shelf life after opening? I've had chicken and beef opened for a few months and am hoping that it's still ok. We especially love the chicken.
No, you can just place a one time order through the shopping cart. However, it is more expensive that way. You will pay full retail price +12% shipping. If you join the delivery service you will get 15% off plus free shipping and you can take advantage of this months monthly special. if you’re not on the delivery service, you can’t get the special price. You can join the delivery service, take one order, and then cancel the delivery service if you want. There is no obligation.
I would like to order but I am going away for a week in the middle of June. My question is how long does it take to ship. If I order now I don’t want the package to sit on my doorstep for a long time. And if I wait is there a chance that specials will sell out.
I don't know where you live. But the order will ship from Utah. And here is Virginia, it generally takes about 7-10 days for me to receive my order. I don't think the specials will sell out. They don't usually put something on special unless they have enough inventory to cover the sale. (But selling out is always a possibility).
Canada DOES have Thrive Life. We even have free shipping in Canada on the Delivery Service. Just use the link to go to our Thrive website, then use the pull-down menu at the top right to select Canada. 😁👍
ALL fruits and veggies are naturally gluten free, because gluten is the protein found only in wheat, barley, and rye. Thrive Life products are all individual ingredients in each can. So if the product is naturally gluten free, then Thrive is gluten free. A can of broccoli, or a can of potatoes, or a can of strawberries, and can of chicken. You get the idea. Shopping at Thrive is just like shopping at the grocery store. You don't generally worry about gluten when shopping in the fresh produce section. Some of the Thrive meals do have gluten because they have pasta in them. But all other Thrive products are naturally gluten free.
Thrive Life foods are organic, but they are not CERTIFICED organic. The only thing the certification process does is to add COST! Thrive had a certified organic line for a while, but they had to discontinue it because it just didn’t sell. So they decided to drop the certification process (which is done by a third party) and self-certify instead, with what they call the Nutrilock Promise. The Nutilock Promise is a process of 41 points of inspection that all of their food must go through. If it doesn’t pass all 41 inspections, the food is rejected and sent back to the farmer! So yes, Thrive Life is organic, but to keep the cost down, it is not CERTIFIED organic. And because it’s not CERTIFIED organic, they can’t say organic in their marketing. Thrive is also all non-GMO.
I love watching you cook, I have a 'however...' the front of your shirt and sleeves was dangerously close to the flames of the stove. Maybe you could find a 'flame proof' apron and push the sleeves back. I would hate it if you got burnt! We love you guys so much! Blessings.
I’m not sure what you’re asking here. Do they make a chicken Chef pack like the pork chef pack? Yes. It’s called southwest chicken chef pack. Do they have a sweet and sour chicken like they do sweet-and-sour pork? It would be easy to use the same recipe and just use chicken instead of pork.
You don't have to find a distributor near you. You can just buy right from my Thrive Life website. (That's all a local consultant would do is send you to their website to make your purchase.) I can support you, no matter where you live. I have customers all over the USA and Canada. 😊 Here is my website. thrivelife.com/bkeller
Bill, I don't want to sound like a maniac, but I have notice in some of your videos that you have a cough,😮💨 have you checked it with your doctor?🧑🔬 I was a nurse for many years and I had many patients who had a cough like that, but they didn't pay any attention and ended up with lungs diseases or heart diseases. We love you and just want to have you healthy for many more years! 👍
I’m interested in buying some stuff from Thrive Life, but one thing that’s holding me back is costs (being on a *very* limited income doesn’t help). A couple of things I’m interested in are peppers and mushrooms, partly because when I buy them from the grocery store, I don’t always use them before they go bad, and I’m wasting them, and wasting money I could have spent elsewhere. I’m strapped this month because I bought some much needed clothes, so I’ll have to wait until I get some more spare money.
You are exactly right about food that goes bad! Thrive Life food is actually CHEAPER than the grocery store! Here is a video (done by another Thrive Life consultant) who documents her spending over 3 years, and she is saving 24% every month on groceries by using Thrive Life! ruclips.net/video/rVQK4d0fXv8/видео.html Comparing the cost of Thrive Life straight across to grocery store prices will almost always SEEM like Thrive costs more. BUT, there is one major component to the formula that almost everyone misses. It's spoilage. Waste. According to a Harvard study, the average family throws away 25-40% of the food that they purchase, due to spoilage. Either it spoils in the fridge before they can use it, or they cook too much and then throw away the leftovers 2 weeks later. THE MOST EXPENSIVE FOOD YOU CAN BUY IS THE FOOD THAT YOU THROW AWAY! And Thrive Life completely eliminates waste! So you need to realize that you must ADD at least 25% to the cost of grocery store food if you want to compare it to the cost of Thrive! Since you will throw away 25% of grocery store food, you have to buy 25% MORE. In the long run, this makes the cost of Thrive comparable or even CHEAPER than the grocery store. Then, add in the extra convenience and the better nutritional content of Thrive food, and it becomes a no-brainer. Why doesn't everyone buy Thrive?! LOL Most people look at the cost of individual servings in order to compare prices. And like I said, this ignores the spoilage issue. The better way to compare cost is to look at the amount that you spend on groceries on a MONTHLY basis. People who track their monthly grocery budget over a period of months are all reporting that they are saving money every month using Thrive. This is because they don't have to buy as much food because they are not throwing away any food due to spoilage. There was a study done a few years ago at the Univ of Utah. They studied 156 families of four. They found that any family of four that used Thrive Life in at least 50% of their daily cooking saved, on average, $150 per month!
The cost was also a HUGE stumbling block for me too! But I was convinced when I bought cherries - and we ate them for SIX MONTHS! Even frozen food doesn't keep like this!
As a side note from an article published by Harvard, crack a window and have your vent that exhausts to the outside on to protect your lungs when cooking with gas. I know this sounds silly, but I worry about Elizabeth's lung health. Science is always learning. Be blessed.
Propane has been used to cook and heat for decades. I really don't think it's a problem. And when the power goes out, we can still cook because we are not dependent on electricity.
I don't know what you are asking when you say "it." How has WHAT changed our lives? There are two things you might be asking. How has using Thrive Life food changed our lives, or how has being a Thrive Life consultant changed our lives. Using Thrive Life in our daily cooking has completely changed the way we cook and eat. The food is considerably more convenient and easier to use. No more chopping and preparing food has cut our meal prep time in half. And we no longer run out of something while cooking or have to run to the store to get what we need for a specific meal that we're preparing. We no longer worry about emergencies or shortages at the store because we have everything we need. And Thrive Life freeze dried food is actually healthier and more nutrient dense than the grocery store "fresh" produce, which many times can be MONTHS old! And being thrive Life consultants has completely changed our lives. I (Bill) was a truck driver working 70 hours/week. That truck consumed my life; I was NEVER home! But in Jan of 2018, I was able to quit driving a truck when my income from Thrive Life exceeded my truck driving income. Now I am home all the time! Instead of driving all over the country for a living, I just stay home with Elizabeth, and we work together (at our own pace) to make You Tube videos and build our Thrive Life business. Thrive Life is a total GAME CHANGER for us!
Tea with Jesus and now... Cooking with Elizabeth! You know you gotta move forward with it.😊

I love watching you cook, I have a 'however...' the front of your shirt and sleeves was dangerously close to the flames of the stove. Maybe you could find a 'flame proof' apron and push the sleeves back. I would hate it if you got burnt! We love you guys so much! Blessings.
They weren’t that close or I (Bill) would have said something to her at the time. It’s just the perspective of the camera.
Looks delicious 😊😊
Yummmmmy❤
Do they make a Chicken like the pork?
I’m not sure what you’re asking here. Do they make a chicken Chef pack like the pork chef pack? Yes. It’s called southwest chicken chef pack. Do they have a sweet and sour chicken like they do sweet-and-sour pork? It would be easy to use the same recipe and just use chicken instead of pork.
I sent a request directly to thrive to find a distributor near me. Have not heard anything. Can you help??
You don't have to find a distributor near you. You can just buy right from my Thrive Life website. (That's all a local consultant would do is send you to their website to make your purchase.) I can support you, no matter where you live. I have customers all over the USA and Canada. 😊 Here is my website. thrivelife.com/bkeller
Yum❣️
gluten free?
They are mostly plain foods. No added gluten. Bread mix and such would have gluten of course. It’s clearly marked.
Here is a video (done by another Thrive Life consultant) who documents her spending over 3 years, and she is saving 24% every month on groceries by using Thrive Life! ruclips.net/video/rVQK4d0fXv8/видео.html
Comparing the cost of Thrive Life straight across to grocery store prices will almost always SEEM like Thrive costs more.
LOL
Most people look at the cost of individual servings in order to compare prices.
@Live Simple, Live Free I was referring to natural gas, not propane. I assumed you used natural gas.
Would you tell me if watching Ad's in video helps your channel???
Yes. If you watch at least 30 seconds of an ad, we get paid a little bit for that.
How has it changed your lives?
Yummy ❤❤❤😂
