  • SESSION SIT IN IS BACK!!!
This time, in the Underground, my pal Tom stopped in after having sprained his ankle in a basketball game the night before. He has had a history of ankle sprains, mostly contact related...(this time he stepped on an opponents foot...the classic) and had a minor sprain.
In this video, I'll show you some basic ways to evaluate and determine the extent of the ankle injury, as well as some go to tactics for managing pain and swelling in the early on phase of recovery.
You will see some orthopedic evaluation, lymphatic drainage techniques, milk massage, layering manual treatment with a Compex EMS unit, and a RockTape finisher to help with pain and swelling!
Questions or comments, leave them below! For more info, head over to my website www.themovementunderground.com to learn about my new brand.
Check out Rocktape.com for CEU courses and products.

Super hard to say. Time heals all, but the quality of that time dicates the quality of that healing.

I'm seriously trying to avoid a bill, so I'm staying at home and elevating my leg today. It's been years since I've missed a day of work due to injury.. I feel terrible about it. The first night I wore a boot, and it was intensely painful when I woke up. Now I'm just elevating it and moving it when I can... When I took the boot off I couldn't move my toes, so I figured it wasn't good for the healing process.. (unless something is broken) this all started when I woke up the other day and couldn't put weight on my ankle. I'm 6"3 and 280lbs, I've lifted for a majority of my life. I sprained the ankle in football, but that was years ago. Can a sprain come back over night without any indicators? Everyone keeps asking what I did, and I honestly don't have an answer for them.. I hope it heals because I can't handle another hospital right now

Mine came on slowly over 24/36 hours. I noticed a small pain that we acknowledge but doesn't stop anyone from carrying on with life. A cycle later and next day couldn't stand. Yes the cycling triggered an injury, but where that original sprain came from, absolutely no idea. Even worse the following morning and I'm here looking for ideas as the thought of several days resting up doesn't excite me.

I learned a lot from your videos but the hands on experience is the best, it would be epic to visit you and learn this procedure using this guy’s feet big feet are the best to learn with and I’d also massage his feet too without gloves
