I LOVE zoya sooo much!!! They probably have one of my favorite polishes because they're so nice to work with!!! And these colors are all so beautiful 😍😍😍
Great review Jess. I just received my order in I only picked up Brandi, Haruko and Brighton, I really wanted to get Darby but I thought it would be way to similar to OPI check out the old geysirs. I also think Trudith seams very similar to OPI One Heckla of a color. I do think Brighton is very pretty, but I am still dreaming that they will bring out a pink scattered holo :)
I disagree. I'm from Austria and you would pronounce "ei" like the English "I" - if it were spelled "Liesel", that pronunciation would be correct though. :)
I don't know why I'm thinking of this on this particular video but there is a polish I'm wondering if you can get your hands on as I think you'll DIE over the color if you've never seen one like it before. You can only buy it at Albertsons grocery stores. Name of company is Heaven. I can find zero info online about it. The polish name is Aloha Dreams.....I think. I'll double check that. I know you like neons and I've never seen one quite like this, in fact, I no longer have access to buy this polish besides EBay, if I can find it there, so I'm hoarding my last half a bottle. It's this very strange but kick ass mix of neon orange and neon pink. So, so sick. If you know of a color that dupes it, I will everlastingly be your most loyal watcher, even though I am now, lol. EDIT: Yes, correct name but you can also get it at a grocer called Hannaford if you have one of those.
I use CND sticky base and HK girl topcoat, and have the same problem with zoyas polishes. I can't wear a zoya longer than 24 hours without chipping. (I still buy them though).
I know it may sound like they just want your money, but I truly find if I use the Zoya base (anchor) and top coat (armor), with Zoya polish that Zoya last pretty well on me and that's saying something because most polishes I get literally 24-48 hours, no, actually, I get about 24 hours usually, then at least one chip.
Tracy, a couple of tips that work for me: try different base and top coats -- experiment to find the combo that works for you; wrap the tips with each coat, including base and top coat, not just the colored polish; allow an hour after polishing your nails to relax, chill, and let the polish "cure"; try doing a double top coat; wear cleaning gloves when doing dishes/cleaning/laundry. My mani's last for 5-6 days doing these things.
I love Brighton! I remember the green from last year, Merida is one of my all time favorites. The topper is pronounced Lee-zuhl, like the eldest daughter from The Sound of Music. You’re probably too young lol. I enjoyed the video.
Thanks! I had a friend in middle school who was really in to musicals. She tried so many times to get me to watch The Sound of Music and I just couldn't get into it lol
i have over 400 bottles and i would say out of all the brands i have - Zoya is my favourite 😘
When Zoya puts out a polish with my surname and jessface90 picks it as her favourite. Double YAAYYYYY!!!!!
Woot!!
I just love watching you swatch it's so calming!!😍
I feel like Darby is an exact supe for OPI’s Check Out the Old Geysers form the Iceland collection

I will never tire of their scattered holos! I need one in every color.
Trudith comes on*
Me: hehe, that's puce...
Jess: reads the Zoya description*
Me: lol good try Zoya in avoiding to say puce (the name of that color)
Literally pausing the video to add Brighton to my list💅🏼
i know, right?! SO pretty!
Thank you for this review - I’m going to pick up Brandi.
So pretty! And I think it's Lee-zuhl.
Carrie Smith That's how I would pronounce it.
Carrie Smith - that's what I thought too. I'm pretty sure it's the name of one of the daughters in 'The Sound of Music'.
That's what I get for trying and failing multiple times to get into that movie LOL
Lara Tiara The Sound Of Music was what instantly popped into my head.

Haruko's very pretty as well, I love polishes with shimmer in them
Merida is the green one you couldn't think of. I like Darby, think I'll have to pick it up.
I yelled "Merida!!" right out loud when we were editing! Haha
Darby and Brighton are definitely on my list.
I may need this whole collection + Brighton. They're really pretty. Even the safe creams. I'm a sucker for bright pinks.
I think Leisel might be pronounced "Lee-zul" like I n The Sound of Music?
Ok, how does Darby compare to OPI’s “Check Out The Old Geysirs” from the Iceland collection?
They look pretty close...I'm not sure you'd need both :)
Gorgeous!
My name is Zoya
All really pretty!
I’m 60 and the old movie The Sound of Music has a girl whose name is the name of this polish.
This is nutts we have the same name, look the same and both have an obsession with nail polish xD
Off topic but, do you plan on going FULL blonde?
Nooooooo...I went with the balayage because I don't have the stomach for the upkeep on a full dye job :)
darby is my fav!!

I'm running to Google!
jessFACE90 LMAO, the pics online I've seen do nothing for it. So much more stunning in person.
Darby is my favorite as well :)
Do you think Haruko is a dupe for China Glaze Get It Right, Get It Bright?
The base colors are pretty similar but the shimmer in the the China glaze is pink and the shimmer particles are a little bigger. :)
I knew a girl named Leisel in high school. She pronounced it "luh-ZHEL". Doesn't mean that's standard of course, but...still.
Off-topic, but will Nine Zero be putting out a spring collection?
Yes! I don't have an exact date to share yet, but it's coming this month :)
Awesome! Looking forward to it! :) :) :)
I can't use Zoya polishes because they chip so quickly. 😢 Suggestions anyone ?
What base and top coats are you using?
Woman of a Certain Age Seche base and quick dry.

Did you know you can bleach the tips of your nails with powder hair bleach?
Jami Martensen That sounds very damaging to the nail.
That doesn't sound very healthy
Why would you do that?
