- Hey racers! This is a "special" video... about our friend Toad. In last week Mario Kart Hot wheels Diecast Tournament, Toad was unable to finish a race and so was is competitor. So this weeks, he has to race in the semi-final against Yoshi. We needed to make it a fair race. So we decided to do an emergency "Pimp My Toad!!!" We added some weight (around 3 g) and apply some powder graphite lubricant to is wheels. Yoshi was a beast on the track, so we don't think that those small modding modifications we did to Hot wheels Toad will make a huge difference, but it should give a better show. Although, we never know what can happen in a crazy Mario Kart Hot wheels die cast tournament on Black Rock Mountain.

Triple-B gave me some advice on using graphite; get the stuff with molybdenum mixed in, tap the closed end of the tube instead of squeezing (or you end up with emo/goth pixie dust _everywhere_ ) and use a small hobby brush to help get more powder into the hub where the axle goes through the wheel. Nice vid, you crazy kids!!

you should see the cars that I receive for my tournaments.....folks dump so much graphite on em and it gets everywhere.....the cars are filthy!

@@coldwheelsracing436 yup, that is what happens. UNLESS, you tell them the graphite, and only the graphite will be touched up after 4 races, IF they are in for more than 4 races.
Toad was compelled to follow one of the F1 rule; Weights are added to cars where the driver is too light to help level the playing field. 😃
We did not know that... but if it works... then great! 😅
