Thank you for this; this is one of the challenges I am facing now in submitting my application. Our lecturers need to do better, especially in Nigeria. I am even tired of begging them because they see it as a big task.
What do we do in the this regard? Where a lecturer do not have a professional email, how do we circumvent the situation? Also, if you've not really worked in a professional organization, what do you do?, I mean where were you worked do not have a professional email.
Always drafting your recommendation letters is good 👍 I remember my lecturers telling to me to do the same, I had to read a lot online and ask few seniors who have done it before and it really helped. Now I don’t have to struggle for wanting a recommendation letter. Senior Shaiguides, this video is really helpful👍 I wish a lot of us will watch this
@@SuliyatOgunjobi not really, my case, I informed the lecturer about my intent, then he asked me to draft something for him to have a look at and that was it. There’s no way they’ll sit down and write a whole page of information about you, you always have to open up about yourself on the paper and then the they’ll add the very important part to it for you. Imagine applying to multiple programs and you need three professors for each of them. How is that possible for a busy professor to apply to all universities on your behalf. Also consider that you are trying to convince some of them via email. That was rhe rationale of having a paper type and uploading it. Anyway.
I have one from my university and others from my Attending Physicians whom i have worked with for about 3 years now. One works at KATH and the other at Tafo Government Hospital. Both don't have a professional email. Getting a recommendation letter from my school is veey stressful. Can i still use them
Like I said, the harder you work, the better the life you create for yourself. If you think you can only use Gmail, I guess that’s something you have to decide.

Please i did 5 years sandwich Bachelor of education in economics in a college of education but I'll be given a university certificate which is affiliated to. What letter head should the professor use, the college of education where I did the degree program or the University that awarded the certificate. And also since it's 5 years degree will I be required to do a Wes evaluation?

Yeah they can….But they should know you well. At least, as a coach, counselor, etc
