I open RUclips to specifically look up for a video like this to get out of a reading slump, AND THIS WAS IN MY SUGGESTIONS. Thank uuu, lovely lovely video🌷💛🛋
That's such a good collection of books! I still really need to read the seasons books by Ali Smith but I think I'll actually be starting them this autumn. I honestly love the idea of just making reading a priority for a week or so but I always feel like life would get in the way😓
I am so pleased that RUclips suggested this to me. From the very start, and that jumper, I knew this was going to be a new favourite. Love the cover of For The Forest of a Bird. I may do the Tom Lake audio just for Meryl Streep, I have had a weird relationship with Patchett's writing, it never hits as much for me as everyone else. All hail Hot Milk and Deborah Levy! Brat is one of the weirdest reading experiences I have had recently, I sort of hated it... yet couldn't stop reading it. Ha! Ps. Gertrude is gorgeous and what a fab name.
thank you so so much for your kind words !! ☺️ I highly recommend Tom Lake but I can’t say how it compares to her other work, I’ll have to read some of her other books soon! And right !!! Brat was so addictive but also such a let down at the same time 🥲💔
I really love this video and the way you film , I got a new recommendations and "Talking at night" had been in my TBR for two or three months so this a sign to just go and read it Love the video ❤
I like you channel! So cosy, it gives me the feeling of serenity 🥰 Now I'm definitely reading Ann Pratchett Tom Lake. I wonder what you think of Liana Moriarty, do you like her books?
@@paperbacksanddaisies my friend is a huge fan! I've read only "The Husband's Secret" and "What Alice Forgot". I would recommend the former. It's gripping and the characters are well-written. The writer uses one metaphor throughout the book, the metaphor and other ideas of the story make it thought-provoking
