Being an American, it touched my heart to see the plaque on the stone wall grateful for my ancestors help in 1944! That is amazing! Thanks for sharing.
What a lovely day. Thank you for your thoughtfulness in reading the plaque about US helping the people of Dinan. Very moving. Really enjoyed the brocante and Sean's Snippets of history. I do pay attention. What a cozy visit with Jasmine and Jack.
STILTS! My grandpa made 2 pairs of stilts for us grandkids. I played with them every time we went to see them. Later when the property was sold and the house about to be torn down, my cousin and I went back and I found one of each pair. They are now on my front porch.
Everything about this video was superb. One of my favorites so far. Thanks for taking us along. Your daughter is beautiful and gracious. The love and respect you have for each other is very apparent. Don't know the name of the kitty but it was precious. You had quite an exhilarating day and what a treat at the end enjoying food and family.
This was a lovely day in Dinan. Thank you for sharing it with me and your many fans. Look forward to seeing more. Regards to your family. Good antique hunting.
If I ever wanted to go to France, I would definitely want to see Dinan. What a lovely little town. That bridge really looks like an old Roman aqueduct.
What a stunning place Dinan is. Well done on those finds, very interesting. Lovely to see you all on a day out. Weather the same here in the UK, grey, dull and raining. Summer seems to have gone. Thanks for a lovely video Sean.
Wonderful to see Jasmine and Jack again. Jasmine is a fantastic cameraman. The town of Dinun was amazing and the shopping trip was just as amazing. Such lovely antiques. Sean you are going to have to take Billy shopping at the last shop in your vlog.
What a a lovely vlog! Sean, you have a keen eye. Enjoy seeing these quaint, historic “locations and bits” of France. Also pleased to see the US Army thank you from the French people for their 1944 liberation … a town full of history … let us never forget those that gave the ultimate sacrifice … smiling back from PA, USA.
Wow Dinan is lovely! Thanks for taking us along on your lovely day with Jasmine and Jack. Such a sweet girl. I know you’re so proud of her. Jack - that meal looked delicious. Hopefully the back is on the mend Sean. I bet you’re getting a bit antsy and ready to go back to work. ❤️😉

What a wonderful day touring and shopping with Jasmine and Jack. They are absolutely beautiful children! The filming was first rate thanks to Jasmine! Thank you for showing us all of the sights!
This big chain you found is called "crémaillère " that's why we say in French "pendre la crémaillère ,which means " hanging the pot " ,when we have a party ,after finishing a new house ,or renovation is finished , !!!..... I love to see your blogs very much and my loving country... ( I live in Greece for45 years now,and miss it )
First off, hope you are still on the mend and getting better every day. - One thing for certain, I will never, ever pass through an arched entry the same way again! Thanks for the 'heads up'! - Dinan seems like a charming place made ever so much more by you three charming visitors. Thanks for taking us along! One question for you Sean . . . do you have a fireplace with a hook that far up the flue that you can actually put your 'new' pot holder to use??? - I LOVE that copper chandelier at 22:48. Please tell me it went home with you and I can find it in your shop on-line.
Hi there, yes l do have a hook in my cottage that l soon plan to renovate. That actual light l didn't buy, because l have a better one, and yes it's up for sale.
I would have loved sharing your day in person BUT this was definitely the next best thing. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of your vlog. Thank you & Best Wishes Sean, Jasmine & Jack
Mad for the historical architecture! Thank you so much for this adventure! Would love to find a charcuterie bowl like the one you found Sean...my cup of tea!💛💛💛

You have a lovely family Sean. It’s nice to see you up and about. What a beautiful village, so historical, so well preserved and so clean. I loved all the shops and the history as architecture. It’s nice to travel back in time while you’re still in the present. We don’t have too much of that here in Canada or the US more in the US than in Canada but they are Young countries.Thank you it was a very pleasant journey.🌈👍🇨🇦😍
Thanks so much Jasmine, Jack and Sean Dinan was amazing and so pretty. Loved the Emmaus treasures and also the brocante and purchases. Hope your back pain is easing Sean 🤞
🇨🇦❤️How’s that sorry back doing, Sean? I hope it’s improving. Spending time with Jasmine and Jack is fun for us too, so thank you for that. That meal looked particularly yummy. 🍽 The tour through the medieval town was just wonderful. Everywhere your eyes rested was such beauty and history that I would have wanted to spend at least a few days there. The antique shop was gorgeous too and I bet there was a lot more to see than you could have shared in this video. Take good care of yourself and maybe we’ll get a report of your back being much better soon. (I also have to be careful about how I move so that I don’t put myself out of commission).

Thank you Sean, Jasmine and Jack. Loved the relaxed feeling I had while watching this video. Very calming beautiful scenery the medieval town was incredible, now on my list of places to visit. The weather here this summer in Ontario, Canada has been in the 30c range down to 17c on some days with torrential rains. Many old growth trees down from the winds. A friend lost 7 black walnut trees recently during a electrical storm due to high winds. The trees were 75 to 130 years old very sad. Great seeing you enjoying time with your family. Take care Sean

Now it is time for America to step up again and liberate their people in Afghanistan.
My father was a part of this liberation. Thank you to France from his daughter for remembering. He received a purple heart. ❤
Yes, I agree!
Go back to the 1300s-1400s, they probably were calling for help from our ancestors!
