All these reaction videos by the latest generation are awesome, when they all sit open mouthed in stunned amazement when Elvis hits those high and powerful notes, 'its like yeah baby this is what weve been takin about all these years, you've been missin out big time, we wasn't jokin wid you when we say hes the greatest most gifted entertainer ever to grace our lovely planet. Although record sales are not a direct indication of greatness the fact that this remarkable individual amassed record sales in excess of 1 Billion only surpassed by the Beatles! He had 21 UK no1 singles (3 re-issues) an all time record that will likely never ever be surpassed, is humbling to say the least. Long live the King Mr Elvis Aaron Presley. (TCB) xx
I was lucky enough to be with him for a couple of nights on tour in 1973. When in the private part of his suite with a couple of other women, Elvis was talking about how he never sang a song that didn't have a meaning to him. He then recited that verse from this song that starts with "My woman got tired of the heartache....." and he started to tear up and turned around with his back to us for a few minutes. It was obvious that he was still having a great deal of trouble over his marriage breakup and his little daughter being with Priscilla. Elvis was a very deep and sensitive person. He read to us from another book at that time that he was so interested in. He carried a suitcase of his favourite reading material with him on every tour. God bless this man...
This was Elvis in Hawaii the first live concert televised around the world I was eight years old first time I saw Elvis live I was like oh my God he’s my God I was hooked he’s the best entertainer of the best singer ever he’s the man of all men
@@rolo1955 jazy I lov the way u play Elvis videos u show so much feeling toward a man that rocked our world I'm a bigger fan of Elvis I have his movies n all of his DVD great job girl keep it up
Elvis the greatest singer ever he song from the heart ♥ loved him this song was sad but wow so amazing when elvis reached the high notes loved it loved him ♥️ 💋 elvis the king 👑 rip elvis 👑 ♥️ 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎧🎸💐💐🌹🌺🌺
Isn't Elvis exstrodanarly different? Look at that move 2:08. His body language is so impressive, and carefully choreographed. Elvis, literally feels the beat, and is, and will remain unduplicated. Presley is truly a one of a kind.
From his aloha in Hawaii concert. Some say not only his best concert but the best concert ever by anyone!!! More than one billion (yes billion with a B) watched it on TV! First concert ever to be televised around the world via Satellite! Thanks and take care!
HeyJAYY , glad you reacted to this song. He has a lei around his neck because this was live from HAWAII and it was the first television program that was sent around the world is satellite and 1.5 BILLION people watched it live. In over 40 countries.
Oh.... Aloha from Hawaii... the last time he looked REALLY good.. and sounded even better. I remember watching this on TV when I was just a little bitty kid... and being mesmerized by the power of his voice and the honesty of his emotions. I even remember having this on 8-track... got it for my 10th birthday along with a portable 8-track player... I wore that tape out! This was also the first worldwide telecast... with delays of course.. and the US showed it at a later date to avoid broadcasting opposite the Super Bowl , January 14, 1973... it was broadcast in the US on April 4th of that year.
Elvis said after his movie career and the deaths of MLK & RFK he only wanted to record songs he felt, his voice was amazing, one of a kind, I love knowing younger people are discovering him... You get hooked,
A beautiful powerful song Elvis looks great in his outfit s he gave another great performance of this song Elvis on tour 1972 my personal favorite version thank you have a good day 😎👍🏼✌🏼
This song was written by and originally preformed by Marty Robbins. Keep in mind that Elvis lost his twin brother at birth, his father went to prison when he was a child for a short period time, his mother passed away in 1958 at the age of 42, and he had just went through the divorce in the year prior to this performance in Hawaii.
He added this song to his stage show right at the time of his separation to his wife, Priscilla in 1972. They had a little girl named Lisa Marie who was 4 at the time. They divorced a year later.
1972 on tour was the best version of you gave me a mountain the most powerful in the voice was more refined Elvis on tour you gave me a mountain was the best
Right before this concert his wife left him for another man. He was heartbroken and don’t think he ever recovered. You should play his gospel songs. How Great Thou Art is one. There are many.
Great song ..look into the DVD Elvis on tour 1972 it was the first time cameras were allowed to follow him actually on tour . Proud Mary is brilliant on this
My question is where were you 60 years ago? This is one of my favorite song by EP ♥️♥️♥️ RIP Elvis A Presley 👑👑👑 Obviously your not that old. But giírrll he is the king. I thought everyone knew EP music.
I was thirteen when I started to listen to Elvis Presley at first I didn't know it was him till I went to Mexico to visit and I bought a tape and I put it on a radio I was like it was him I listen to. I heard him on the radio before I went to Mexico
I think Elvis at heart, was a humanitarian. He cared about people and possibly that came from his own grief, losing his wife and child to divorce, his 42 year old mother at age 20 and his twin brother at birth.
THE LYRICS ARE, AEWSOME, THATS WHAT I LKED ABOUT, ELVIS, HE SANG SONGS ABOUT PAIN, VERY DEEP SONGS, HE TOOK THE, WORLD AND SHOOK IT UP GREAT LYRICS. GREAT SONG THANKS JAYY.
I think Elvis draws you in to the song. He draws on his own experiences in order to reach his audience. His singing is authentic consequently, as it is for all great artists. But I have always loved his voice and passion.
This concert he was at the top of the mountain.... power success money then there were no more challenges for him, he and Priscilla were on the outs and we all know the sad ending ....
Really enjoying your videos just started tonight. Elvis is one of my favorite. He had such a powerful voice and a definite powerful stage presence keep up your great work thank you
Elvis was at his peak when he was singing Gospel. This song was in the genre. I encourage you to listen to his gospel. He was good at Rock, but his roots were elsewhere.
Elvis just knew how to bring a song to life and hit you right in the heart. You should do the song My Boy, the lyrics just kills you, and the way he sings it just goes deeper.
This is from Elvis Aloha From Hawaii shown by satellite around the world live!!! Never been done before at that time. A lot of money went in to this and it wasn't sure if their was going to be any problems. It was seen by 1 billion to 1.5 billion people around the world . Another first for Elvis. You can get the dvd at amazon. you will in joy the concert the songs and excitement . Any songs you react to from this is going to be great
As great a performer as Elvis was such artists can't do much without the talents of great song writers such as country balladeer Marty Robbins, who wrote this one. It was an era of extraordinary all-round talent.
I really enjoy your reactions especially to Elvis, it's great to see younger people finding Elvis's music and giving props to the King, I would like to suggest a great song that's less heard but one of my favorites, an upbeat and fun song first recorded by the great Chuck berry, called "Promise Land" might be fun to cover both versions and see what you think. :)
This was the first via satellite concert around the world. This concert was a benefit concert for Kua Lee Cancer fund. All of the proceeds went to the Cancer fund. I believe Elvis’s salary also. They we’re supposed to raise $25,000 but they raised $50,000. That was huge in 1973. The concert was called “Aloha from Hawaii “. I was in 6th grade then.
Hey JAYY, a couple of fun facts about Elvis. He was an 8th degree black belt and his favorite thing to eat was fried peanut butter and bananas sandwiches. From Joey From New York God bless and stay safe

This was Elvis in Hawaii the first live concert televised around the world I was eight years old first time I saw Elvis live I was like oh my God he’s my God I was hooked he’s the best entertainer of the best singer ever he’s the man of all men
thats how you sing a song... no one will ever be at the level of Elvis.. best voice to ever sing PERIOD
and the female would be Miss Karen Carpentar. An angel and a king, how appropriate :)
He was an artist who processed pain. That’s a really good observation that’s why you’re such a good reactor Jayy.
Thank you

Elvis Presley the King of Rock and Roll
One of my favorites. Haven’t we all had mountains to climb in life that seem impossible at the time. Love ya!
He added this song to his stage show right at the time of his separation to his wife, Priscilla in 1972. They had a little girl named Lisa Marie who was 4 at the time. They divorced a year later.
Elvis Aaron Presley could perform in the bottom of a shit well and put today's artists to shame.
I adore that you love Elvis, my twin daughters take it for granted, I wish music were more like this and righteous brothers today.
The power in that voice is absolutely incredible! God blessed him and us with his absolute best talent anywhere!
He sang this at the concert I attended in June 1977. Very emotional.
1972 on tour was the best version of you gave me a mountain the most powerful in the voice was more refined Elvis on tour you gave me a mountain was the best
Sheilah Robin you are so blessed to have seen the King 💕💕
I saw Elvis in April 77
All so surreal
Right before this concert his wife left him for another man. He was heartbroken and don’t think he ever recovered. You should play his gospel songs. How Great Thou Art is one. There are many.

Thank you for reacting to the king!
I think Elvis at heart, was a humanitarian. He cared about people and possibly that came from his own grief, losing his wife and child to divorce, his 42 year old mother at age 20 and his twin brother at birth.
An astute observation. Elvis can make a sad song sound so good. Even it sent a message through itself. Good reaction once again.
"I'll remember you " is the saddest I think from aloha
That TCB-band along with Guercios orchestra is like a damn nuclear powerplant 😳
THE LYRICS ARE, AEWSOME, THATS WHAT I LKED ABOUT, ELVIS, HE SANG SONGS ABOUT PAIN, VERY DEEP SONGS, HE TOOK THE, WORLD AND SHOOK IT UP GREAT LYRICS. GREAT SONG THANKS JAYY.
I was another beautiful song song with so much soul in Motion yeah I love your reactions love ya and respect 💜
" Woman Without Love" is one of Elvis Presley's best. A song that had great personal significance to Elvis Presley.
Yes he definitely does flashbacks..if you study his life you would understand
Growing up with Elvis's music helped me understand a mans point of view so much better.
Thankyou so much for doing the Elvis marathon..my favorite entertainer of all time!! We love and appreciate you Jayy ❤️
Losing sleep was worth it now that I see people loved the marathon and p.s I love you too
Elvis was also the pioneers of satellite broadcast This was the 1st one shown around the world in American music history!
The man's music will never die, passion plus!!!!
Looking good Jayy. Thanks for all the Elvis reactions you have been doing. 🌸❤️

Look in this show the song Fever, My way and what now my Love, really good songa and you Very like
I was 13 when this aired live on TV via satellite.
His marriage was coming apart around the time he did his Hawaii concert which this song was performed.

This was the first via satellite concert around the world. This concert was a benefit concert for Kua Lee Cancer fund. All of the proceeds went to the Cancer fund. I believe Elvis’s salary also. My Fathers favorite song. When my Mother passed, my Brother, who's blind sang this at her funeral, not a dry eye in the house
Tears spilled on my phone watching your reaction. You rock
👑!! 🔥🔥🔥
One of my all time favorite songs! BTW..you have the most beautiful eyes!😊
Steamroller Blues.. same concert. :)
That is the way it was back then. They singers told stories. That is why they are so relatable.
Hey JAYY, a couple of fun facts about Elvis. He was an 8th degree black belt and his favorite thing to eat was fried peanut butter and bananas sandwiches.
From Joey From New York
God bless and stay safe
I am from Memphis and the peanut butter and banana thing is way overblown. Lisa Marie says she never saw him eat one. I know he had them but come on.
I would love to recommend “ Steamroller Blues “ by Elvis ! And pretend he is singing to you !! LOL !!
