It's continuation of best Quake mod ...Quake 1.5 and it's awesome....New enemies, changed levels, new levels, boss battles, awesome gunplay, effects and gore....I played Q1.5 and this for few times now and it's shame that it's not compatible with addons or Arcane Dimensions and with Quake remastered. blood and Iron mod have potential but right now this is the best way to experience Quake and make it 10x better than vanilla version.
tbh I feel like this mod completely misses the point of what quake 1 is supposed to be and has none of the atmosphere I always loved it for but I guess it's cool that there is an option to play like this

Mods are a passion project and completly free and no one holds a gun to your head to force you to play it....I don't undesrstand why Many idiots started sh*t storm about this in Doom Community (Brutal Doom) or many other game modifications. For me this is the best way for play Quake in modern times just like Brutal Doom and Project Brutality 3 for Doom, Extra Crispy for Blood or Savior of Babes for Duke Nukem 3D. Those mods expands gameplay, gunplay is more enjoyable with awesome effects,gore, much better visual and sound responces....they cranck up gameplay (from 1-10) to 25. They didn't change or destroy atmosphere because Quake was simple FPS with Lovecraftian elements and atmosphere and just like Doom, Blood, Duke Nukem and other odler FPS it is simple game with not much mechanics or verticality like modern games. You run from one end of the map to another, find keys and shoot things. That's it. I played Quake and Doom and other old FPS games since 1996 when I got my first PC and I finished all those games countless times so it's normal to me and many other that gameplay is sill great but little rusty and maybe too simple and not that enjoyable like first times. This kind of mods makes game feel FRESH and FUN again and more eye candy and they add modern elements making tohe games atractive also for many younger gamers.

@@hafizo_kurosaki Yes I know...I'm big STALKER Fan since 2002 and first information about Oblivion Lost...I played maybe around 50-60 different mods mostly with new history but I played also Anomaly and GAMMA and I didn't love them because I prefere games with good tight story and gameplay and not sanbox type games like most of Ubi Soft clones with different names....Anyway I can't stand that some people have mission to hate some passion projects everywere because they are not just like they wanted to be. It's shame because many of those mods are much better than most of AAA games this days and completly free and btw there is hundreds mods so everyone can find something to enjoy.
