dear my ethiopian orthodox church. is it possible for our church to have this in amharic instead or geez just for 1 day so I can understand it fully. I do understand some geez but being born in addis ababa and I didn't get much church lesson. for one day it would be cool... the Egyptian are doing it in English so American can have a good idea what they are saying. I think it's time to teach all people of ethiopian in different parts of the country to start doing church service in their language something so people know we are actually preying to God and to forgive our sin. thanks

Here the main point is:- no matter the Nr. of altars in one church are, it is possible to sacrify on all altars at once and do the worship (the Divine Liturgy) A to Z in absolute unity of heart, word and spirit, free of chaotic screaming, jercking, etc...( which is a typical so called worshiping in spirit in the so called charasmatic protestant churchs, which in reality has nothing to do with christianity.)

Not all churches have 3 menberes (altars) if there is only one here is the group-Main deacon Main Priest Asst Priest,Asst.Deacon,And the helper and if there are three there are three x of those little groups.
In the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, the kidasse (Divine Liturgy) requires at least 3 deacons and two priests. (The Celebrant Priest, The Asst. Priest, The First Deacon, The Second Deacon, and the Third Deacon.) Every altar within the Mekdes (The Temple) can celebrate its own liturgy. Since this day was the opening of a new Cathedral, they decided to celebrate three liturgies (one at each altar). Some churches do not have more than one altar, meaning they can not celebrate for the one divine liturgy at the same time. In this liturgy case, there was the Patriarch (His Holiness Abune Merkorios, fourth Patriarch and Catholicos of Ethiopia), Archbishops, Bishops, Priests, and Deacons. There is too many to count on this occasion.

በእዉነት ይህ ቅዳሴ ከ ሀገር ዉጭ ነዉ ወይ ያስብላል ምክንያቱም ይህን ያህል የካህናት ብዛት መኖሩ እጅግ የሚድንቅ ነገር ነዉ ። ምእመናን ስጋ ወደሙን መቅበላቸዉ በጣም ይደንቃል።በሀገር ዉስጥ ስጋ እና ደሙን የሚቀበሉት በእድሜ የገፉ መነኩሳት፣አረጋዊያን እና ህፃናት ናችዉ ወጣቱ በአብዛኛዉ አይቅብልም። እጅግ በጣም የሚያስደስት ነዉ። ሌላዉ ግን የካህና ቁጥር 12 ፣ 7 ፣5 ፣3 እና 2 መሆን ይችላል ምክንያቱም የስራአተ ቅዳሴ ቁጥር የሚያመልክተዉ 12 አስራ ሁልቱን ሐዋርያ 7 ሰባቱን ሚስጥራተ ቤተ ክርስቲያን 5 አምስቱን ዓእማደ ሚስጥር 3 ደግሞ አብ ወልድ መንፈስ ቅዱስን ሲሆን 2 ደግሞ ወልደ አብ እና ወልደ ማሪያምን ወይም ሓዲሳተ እና ብሉያትን ነዉ። ለዚህም ነዉ የካህናቱ ቁጥር በዛ ያለዉ። ስለሆነም ያለዉ ምእመን እንዳይጉላላ ከሁለት ወይም ከሶስት በመከፍል ስጋ ወድሙን የሚያቅብሉት።

ይህ ብዙ ዝርዝር ማብራሪያ አያስፈልገውም። አንዲት ቤተ-ክርስቲያን በውስጡዋ ከአንድ በላይ የመስዋዕት መንበሮች(Altars) ካላት። እዚህ እንደምታየው በፍጹም የልብ የአንደበትና የመንፈስ ቅዱስ አንድነት መጸለይ እና መስዋዕት ማቅረብ ይቻላል። ይህ በቀኖና ቤተ-ክርስቲያን አስቀድሞ የተደነገገ ከጥንት ከሠረቱ የነበረ ያለና ለደፊትም የሚኖር ሥርዓት ነው።
