I love the non-avian dinosaurs, too, who doesn’t? But we shouldn’t make the mistake that the life on this planet now is any less exciting or terrifying or fascinating than it was then. In many ways, the avian dinosaurs are some of the most incredible animals to ever evolve. And they are around us every day. You can hear them sing in the morning. You can visit avian dinosaurs from exotic ecosystems at zoological gardens and aquariums. There is as much dinosaurian grandeur and beauty and terror today than ever. All you have to do...is pay attention.
