Everyone remember a crucial piece of equipment is dry bags, they weigh nothing and no matter where you go you will always be able to cross streams and hike in bad rain with the confidence that your essential kit like sleeping gear, spare clothes etc will always stay dry which is a key to survival
Awesome vid guys! It's really cool to see what everyone else carries in their rucks because there aren't very many other videos out there on it. Keep up the great work!
Instead of using the GSI you may want to try the jetbowl it is perfect for the dry foods takes about 2 mins to bowl and is also a cup you can drink from. I use it myself and its perfect. I've had it for about 2 and a half years now and it still in great condition even after being a little roughed up.
I'm gonna suggest Pemmican bars instead of cliff bars. Also what's wrong with sodium? You need to replenish your body's sodium that you're sweating out. As well as potassium. Good idea to bring even salt and potassium tablets if it's gonna be a hot one.
This is good for like a 5 day or week milsim. A three day would be like 3 granolas, 2 water bottles, sleeping bag, and bandages (just incase of crazy accidents or something)
the second guy has an epi pen in his medic kit, im a paramedic from europe , and my question is are u guys allowed to give a patient the epi or does he has to take it by himself bec, in most countries in europe u need a special training to give this sort of medication to ur patient
My dad bought a black colored gear instead of the common brown or somethin. Me dad says "swat" theme. But Im not sure if i should use it for my first game... actually maybe this summer
All this gear and neither of them have rucksack liners. If it rains particularly hard then all the expensive shit you have in your pack is going to get drenched.
Eberlestock back packs are expensive to say the least and should not be bought for beginners when carrying a lot of gear. I have found that a small MEU 3 day assault pack carries everything I need. But then again I don't need much comfort only what you can carry and "stay effective" is the best option.
orionsysling its pretty simple they have different operations that make it last for 2 days for example day ones objective is to take the enemy's spawn point and push them back that could take several hours just being one objective the next objective is to get a certain file or more ammo or a new spawn point or anything really. That alone could take a hour or more say the event starts at 6:00 at night now by by executing these objectives were probably somewhere around 12:00am or even 1:00am or later so then while people sleep and guard they wait till the next day "roughly around 7:00 am". everyone wakes up to new objectives they half to complete for the second day after finishing those objectives now the day is over the war has stopped with one side completeing all their objectives and taking out their enemy and pushed them back as much as possible then they are the winning team in this case for the event that were talking about their isn't really winners they do the same thing just not as many objectives and things. its more of pushing the enemy as far back as possible i myself haven't gone to one of these events so i may have my answer wrong if anyone feels free to correct me then that's okay this is just my knowledge of watching hundreds of youtube videos of mislm events
When you go to games like this, the cheap gear always fails first. I run an Atacka 2 from Russia and that cost me for the bag alone quite a chunk of change.
Nick Bradbury you check in like normal but you have to declare that you have a "firearm" TSA comes over explain what it is and they get it to your destination. Check Jetdesertfox video about it.
I don't get it. One 48 hour op in real life is a 2 MRE situation max and I wouldnt even eat the main meal. Just throw on a small little fucking assault pack and fill it with water, two MREs and a poncho liner. Your IFAK is on you in case you go down, batteries in your NVG pouch, GARMIN in the admin pouch, knife mounted and thats really it. Ridiculous
+SOTAAirsoftLLC how did this all cost $1,000? a decent backpack is only like $50 each pouch maybe $15-$19 all the food maybe $50 jacket $75 all the tools, paracord etc maybe $50-$100 that's only roughly $250- $350 by my count
+Luke Tecpa if you spend $50 on a ruck you will be severely disappointed. You get what you pay for. The Halftrack was $250 and the F4 Terminator was $450.
+SOTAAirsoftLLC yea but for $400 I can get 8 Amazon rucksacks for that price. not really worth it for airsoft. some of us have things called "bills" that need to be payed
you dont really need this much shit do you? i think a pack of bbs and gas and simple tools would do just fine. some snacks to eat here and there. you shouldn't need this much stuff.
+Sam Clarke idk maybe they do ive never been so i cant defend myself on my opinion. if i went i wouldnt have that massive ass bag. i think it slows you down and in a tight situation id rather have mobility than a shovel.
Milsim West games last 40 hours of continuous play. And if they get into a firefight with their rucks on, they drop them and move to engage while wearing an assault bag.
This is legit. I went on a 2 day milsim, but I brought like nothing. friends and I in the squad went savage and had to cook a fish from the water...
+Plams thats so fucking savage dude i wish i was there
+Plams thats fucking awesome.
+Plams Pssssh cooked the fish....
+Plams For Milsim's, where do you leave your stuff? In your car or something? Because I've seen other youtuber's Milisim guide they have large bags.
+Plams Savage. Where was this?
dont lie that shovel is for a shit pit
ahahhaah

I like how you pack a pillow because i have had to use my back pack as a pillow multiple times
thats all you need
Instead of using the GSI you may want to try the jetbowl it is perfect for the dry foods takes about 2 mins to bowl and is also a cup you can drink from. I use it myself and its perfect. Bad ass. When you are packing a lot of capability the weight of it is less bothersome.
where do you get your coyote brown pouches. I'm wondering where to get one like the one you use for your mess kit In the first bag
I'm gonna suggest Pemmican bars instead of cliff bars. Also what's wrong with sodium? You need to replenish your body's sodium that you're sweating out. As well as potassium. Good idea to bring even salt and potassium tablets if it's gonna be a hot one.
awesome video great education thanks
Food for me in a Mildim would be I pack 10 fruit snack packs 10 granola bars then some 3 mangos and 4 big water bottles and 5 noddle soups
Cesar Cisneros I would agree with the water bottles I don't know about the rest.
This is good for like a 5 day or week milsim. A three day would be like 3 granolas, 2 water bottles, sleeping bag, and bandages (just incase of crazy accidents or something)
Where can I get the pouch on top of the halftrack
2 mres an a can or 2 of chili an a portable stove it's always a good choice
Great video
What is the small pack you have on top of the Bergen and where can I get one?
Oh I thought you have to bring some bbs but I guess you don't have to so no bs for me
drummerboy6358 i dont know about all milsims but i know milsim west provides ammo
It was a joke he went so much in detail that he forgot the basics
Usually they'll bring i guess tactical vests that have their bbs in mags and speed loaders
yeah milsim west hooks u up whit ammo, in some of their games u can actully steal a crate of ammo from the enemy and then they can steal it back again
Parker Raines for 48h+ you need more than just yoir mags i would at leadt bring a bag of it and load the magazines
What pouch is that on the front molle section of the Halftrack…
+Nathanial Blakely (Nathan) Nope
+Scout Noa Tactical Tailor "Hydration Basic 3L,
What is the GSI outdoor cooking stove cook? Or is it just for like boiling water? And can it cook ramen noodles?
It is used to mainly boil water for dehydrated meals.
You should get a stuff sack for your sleeping bag
the second guy has an epi pen in his medic kit, im a paramedic from europe , and my question is are u guys allowed to give a patient the epi or does he has to take it by himself bec, in most countries in europe u need a special training to give this sort of medication to ur patient
Sota = war in finnish :D
My dad bought a black colored gear instead of the common brown or somethin. Me dad says "swat" theme. But Im not sure if i should use it for my first game... actually maybe this summer
What is the external pack mounted on the front of the halftrack. Looking for it to order asap.
It is the Tactical Tailor "Hydration Basic 3L"
Julian what is the liner for your sleeping bag? it sounded like you said Ex Ed sinat 7.
is it suggestable to have a gaslantern on the hip or strip on the backpack or no?
Can you tell me, what is that for a pouch which you use on the front?
Greetings from Germany
BADASS INTRO
All this gear and neither of them have rucksack liners. If it rains particularly hard then all the expensive shit you have in your pack is going to get drenched.
Both Eberlestock packs have built in water resistant liners as well as water proof pack covers.
+SOTAAirsoftLLC Fair enough. Would still want a proper liner that I know is going to work and I can actually see and touch. Just my preference though.
Dropped Spaghetti also if it rains the pack would get heavier adding more weight to your already heavy loadout etc.
please how is the name of the bigger backpack ? english isnt my main language sorry
+AnalFail AnalFaila
The larger pack is my Eberlestock Terminator F4. They also make a Terminator G4 that includes an integrated rifle scabbard.
what is that bag cliped on the outside of your pack called
Are AEGs allowed at Milsim events?
AEGs are the most common airsoft gun you see at MSW. We choose to use LM4s for the added realism.
candy bars for breakfast... consider bringing some mre's
Where did you get that backpack i would like to buy one please.
Where can I find addon pouches for the half Track?
dude I only have a smaller like way smaller bag
Where was the bag from?????
Do they have 48 hour paint ball matches not that's why air soft is better
Do u have speed ball ( fast paced ) no that's why paintball is more competitive
Cab bitch
+Nasty Snipes there is such a thing as milsim paintball (mag-fed), and I can guarantee you there are. People take that shit serious
Paintball is more competitive airsoft is for fun and realistic
They're both for fun
What is the bag of high calorie snacks? Hot Biddles?
Hawkvittles.com

Ima go drain my bladder out!
Do you carry all the this with you the whole time or do u have a spot to put it and just carry your rig and stuff
This is typically only carried from a drop off point to the patrol base location.
Usually they leave it in their base and have a small backpack
For your IFAK you should put in quick clot, a turnikit, and a Israelite bandage, and something for airway.
+Shooter Ready they're shooting plastic pellets at each other, not real bullets..
I know but still, you never know what could happen in any moment.
hurf_durf yeah they might get a paper cut
Joshua Delgado look at jet desert fox he had a serious airsoft injury
so what was the scotch for
Where do u sleep at a milsim? Are there tents or something, or sleeping bags on the dirt?
K!NG G3ORGE the floor
Floor, dirt, hole in the ground....
During one game, people slept in the village they were defending overnight.
What kind of bag are you using
who makes the chef meals???
where did you get that headlamp!?
Sorry to ask but, what bag does Julian have?
Thanks :D
what are airsoft wars like? How do airsoft wars even work for 2 days?
orionsysling its pretty simple they have different operations that make it last for 2 days for example day ones objective is to take the enemy's spawn point and push them back that could take several hours just being one objective the next objective is to get a certain file or more ammo or a new spawn point or anything really. what guns do you you use
+Joe Maiocco we use the KWA LM4. Our entire team has standardized to that GBB platform.
Why don't anybody use MRE's
i do
We're did u get the back pack and first aid
Pack was ordered from USCav.com though I'd suggest shopping around
Where did you get the topo map?
I don't understand what's your saying cause of the music
Hey dude if you could, can you add up all prices of everything overall so i can get a rough idea of payment
AmpHead64 You're looking at around $1000 including bag.
When you go to games like this, the cheap gear always fails first. I run an Atacka 2 from Russia and that cost me for the bag alone quite a chunk of change.
And with all the stuff he is carrying he could have packed flares for emergences
Well i can pack for msw in a 50 l pack but you brought a solar panel yeah
lol the Julian had scotch and Justin had Christmas lights and u both said "don't worry about that" like r u guys gonna have a Christmas party?
You never know what gonna happen innawoods.
am a sniper and i have a 24h milsim coming up how much ammo is needed and how many clips should i bring?
its MAGS im 99.99% sure you dont use a clip, look up what a clip is
but in airsoft, it would be very hard to get a clip, with the bbs exposed. i know there are real sniper clips.
Most modern sniper rifles use mags or 1 at a time
where i can find that bag?
What backpack is that?
Eberlestock Halftrack (First Guy)
Eberlestock F4 Terminator (Second Guy)
It's in the description just in case
What kind of pack do you use? That's pretty nice.
***** It is an Eberlestock Halftrack
+Mike Serot
Eberlestock Terminator F4 (I am the guy with the larger pack).
+hx4700jn liters?
+Emil Månsson About 70L
thank you from sweden
Km of paracord is necessary
"the stove acts as a jet turbine" --' --"
Is that a Eberlestock Halftrack
Sota means war in finnish
Whats the name of the first bag??
Pat Fahey It's an Eberlestock Half Track.
How do you fly with all this and air soft guns? I'm genuinely curious because I would like to get into milsim
Just like flying with a real gun
SpawnPixel Yoou can google it - but here - www.tsa.gov/travel/transporting-firearms-and-ammunition
Nick Bradbury We typically drive but if we fly we try to take Southwest, 2 free checked bags which include your ruck and gun case.
Nick Bradbury you check in like normal but you have to declare that you have a "firearm" TSA comes over explain what it is and they get it to your destination. Check Jetdesertfox video about it.
I bring Meal ready to eats
sawyer that is me

Ridiculous
What was the total price of this?
+Gannon Young around $1000 per bag +/- $300.

Why don't you just buy a couple of Meal Ready To Eat (MRE) that's what you use in the military
Song?
ram ranch

+ScrubsterNaut For what uses exactly?
+zMotoWolf any use, anything breaks
"Foot" problems
you don't even need these 1/4 of this stuff...
holy god your not going to iraq
SOTA means war in finnish lol
Why don't you guys just goin the military instead of playing?
How long would you really have in war to dig that crap out when you need it
Yall act like its actual combat when yall been there then come back and talk
lose the music
Get rid of the effun background music.
I feel like the people that have not been in the military and PLAY milsim just want to FEEL like they are in the military
The music is way too loud and just anoying. Pls use a better mic.
Stube annoying*
spare allahu akbars
you dont really need this much shit do you? i think a pack of bbs and gas and simple tools would do just fine. some snacks to eat here and there. you shouldn't need this much stuff.
Their there over night lol. It's not like you play then go home then play again
+Sam Clarke idk maybe they do ive never been so i cant defend myself on my opinion. if i went i wouldnt have that massive ass bag. i think it slows you down and in a tight situation id rather have mobility than a shovel.
+jonathan lavigne they have base camps where they could put their stuff
Milsim West games last 40 hours of continuous play. And if they get into a firefight with their rucks on, they drop them and move to engage while wearing an assault bag.
where can I get the bag pack?
