This UCF team was the real deal. Their defense was questionable before the game but looked stellar here. No wonder Griffin was drafted.

LostDutchman defense had a shaky 2 games prior because they had to play 12 weeks straight, no bye week because of a hurricane. They got a month off and dominated up front

Offensive line played terrible. I'm very happy that Herb Hand decided to leave, and that we got JB Grimes back. I was shocked that Hand wasn't just fired, but whatever, he left anyways. This has probably been Gus's worst offensive line as HC for Auburn. Hand was a great recruiter, but a terrible coach. He wasted a lot of talent for this 2017 group.

This was definitely our offense of lines worst outing. I think it was even worse just from watching it then the Clemson game. The only thing that has not made me super pissed off was they had probably the three hardest weeks back to back with Georgia, Alabama, then Georgia again in the last ten years of football. They were beat up, tired, and not motivated. That loss is entirely on the o line though

2018 Tigers had an excuse for every time they lost. Lost to Clemson in a tough one. Malzon did a great job in that game. Lost to an LSU team with a terrible head coach for some mysterious reason. Beat a great Georgia team only because Georgia's OC totally choked with his game calling causing the D to gas out. Then beat Bama. Excellent job by the Tigers. They got overpowered and outcoached by UGA in the SEC title game. Lost to UCF?? Really? I think the SEC has figured out Malzan's offence. Its a pretty cool system but can be exploited by putting wrinkles in your defense if you have the personnel. They are going to have to run the hell out of the ball 2018 to re-establish an offensive identity. There is a flaw in Malzon's coaching. He is brilliant though. To much fluff, need to get more physical on offense. 4 losses is not a good team.
