After getting to 90 Necromancy, I can say I am incredibly frustrated with it and can't wait to finish leveling it so I can go back to my Revolution friendly styles. Which is incredibly dissapointing as I play as a necromancer in any game I can. Manual or semi manual feels so forced and I wish I had never gotten my command ability upgrades for the sake of revolution. Videos like this ease the frustration a bit, so thank you.
Thanks - shave a ton of time off Hermod record. Was around 3 minutes+ t70 weapons and warpy armor (1 of each bonus types) down to 2:12. I'm 82 in necro.
happy to see a revo bar that looks pretty good as a new necro, but at around 60 should you get both pets up? Or is DPS in single and aoe just higher with one only? Do you have an over all guide for spells you want to be clicking along with revo or are you just using revo?
One small note: From my experience, starting at level 70 with the Scythe II upgrade, the healing AoE bar no longer has enough adrenaline production to reliably trigger Putrid Zombie explosions. I have personally re-arranged that to be a "very tanky" AoE rotation that moves the Vengeful Ghost to replace the Putrid Zombie, and otherwise left the bar as-is. This leads me to wonder if (given the lack of adrenaline generation) the level 70 bar with said upgrade is indeed still optimal given that the plague zombie does not get conjured regularly?
How to setup bars, can you make a video describing how to setup action bars that automatically switch "putting yellow bar around spells" when changing spec ?
you should make a full guide on armoured phantoms, none of the guides that i know of show the good bars and exact methods to get the best XP, i use a full T95 gear + zuk cape and not the Deathdealer armour so technically it should give me less XP, right ? current guides usually tell me to use a bar with : spectral scythe, death skulls, soul strike, soul sap, touch of death, basic necro attack, skeleton warrior summon the problem is that death skulls never trigger and i'm not sure i'm getting the best DPS out of this, at least this bar makes it impossible to die with penance aura and overload on, that way you can use soulsplits + the T95 necro prayer.
hey just looking at your phantoms setup using the following bar: "Scythe, Death Skulls, Soul strike, Soul Sap, Touch of death, Basic" with zuk cape, elder overloads, agro potions, penance aura, Soul split and Sorrow, i was able to hit 1.55m xp/hr average there. i was using finger in there because it would generate stacks so i could spend it on threads fingers of death if i felt like being extra spicy, when i was adding manual inputs with undead slayer, divert, finger and volly(the last 2 combined with threads) i was getting up to 1.65m necro xp/hr with no cannon :D
Thanks for the suggestion. I have to admit, I actually lowballed the xp/hr by a lot since many people don't have optimal gear. I tested your suggested bar during the making of the video and it's actually about 3.3% less xp/hr than the top afk bar (death skulls, soul strike, soul sap, scythe, aa). You should test them both out with your setup and see which gets you better results
This has been super helpful since the wiki bars do NOT build up adren as well as these ones do. However, does anything 80+ change since Necro got overhauled to make some attacks weaker and allowing conjures to be cast without adren?
my friends (not pro pvm-ers) told me to summon all 3 pets at once in the front of the revo bar as they dont cost adrenalin anymore or sth like that they said. Is this video post that update or before? and what about the summoning undead army ability? (ive been absent for a long time i dont know if those have only recently been put into the game or if they are already in it for longer)
for your level 80 aoe bar for afk uses i had to move scythe down a little or else i would never summon the ghost since syche uses it all so not sure what im doing wrong . other then that its a great bar
Yes, I'd suggest using the level 80 bars for high level single and multi target slayer. You may need to remove sacrifice or tuska from the single target bar depending if you're immediately clicking the next enemy or not
Question, around 12:54 you say to remove Sacrifice in favor of Bloat if going against a Boss, but since most bosses arent slayer tasks wouldnt it make more sense to remove Tuska's Wrath instead and put Bloat before the Basic Attack while keeping Sacrifice where it is? Tuska's Wrath is only a great single target ability if its on slayer task, no?

So i guess the reason you put Tuska before Volley and Finger in the rotation even against non-slayer targets is because the rotation needs an extra adrenaline-building ability to maximize DPS? Tuska has only a 15 sec cooldown against non-slayer targets, is that why we use it? I just want to make sure the ability is still useful against non-slayer targets when its in the middle of the rotation.
Yeah if you don't have enough adrenaline it will cause issues, however they changed conjures after this video so adrenaline is a lot less of an issue now. I should have an updated video within a month if everything goes to plan

When I’m using the single target bar I’m constantly blasting finger at 4 stacks and spams bloat leaving no adr for deaths grasp or anything else Is it just how it is for Revo or am I missing something
Did you use tank gear? I haven't tried this bar out yet, but before the scythe change and afterwards i only got about on average 860-950k xp from abyssal beast using poh with t95 necromancy gear and weapons, 99 prayer, and i struggled to stay alive and had to use blood siphon.
I use t90 power for deathmark chance. For best xp rates you need siphon off the bar, but that will require a combination of death ward relic, berserker's fury relic, inspiration aura, and/or darkness spell. I'll look into making an in-depth guide for those, but doing phantoms first
i just tried the T80 single target build (no zuk cape) on arch glacor and it was probably the best revolution i've used yet. around 2:45 kills, at level 95, with overload, ripper demon, wen book and split soul. (with penance aura on i was able to stay for a full hour on 2 doses of super prayer). all in all, still pretty good, from my noob outlook :)
ya so this is actually straight up B.S. I tested the single target bar out at vindicta and a lot of other bosses, I am in full first necromancer t95 gear with t90 weapons and the single target bar with no zuk cape takes 2 minutes roughly to kill vindicta. So instead of doing 200k dps a minute like you say it does about 100k dps a minute
Hey man, conjures were just nerfed into the ground on Monday- this video came out well before that. Overall the bars should still be okay, but new boss specific strategies need to be developed now. I'm going to wait for jagex to iron out the changes before releasing new bars
Currently lvl 116 Necromancy, got there using t80 weapons and ghost hunter armor. I can't do the Bosses required to get t90 items because I simply cant boss. I may try your bars after getting lvl 120 Necromancy to see if they help me get t90 equipment. Unfortunately Revolution is not even remotely equivalent to manual, jagex doesn't care about non Bossing Players. Thanks
Can you include: Kerpac Normal Mode, Glacor Normal Mode Ability Bars? Can You do a 4 man Croseus Guide explaining in detail as you show the boss kill? And is there anyway to Revo Rasial Even if it's slower kills? I'm having hard time killing him on last phase.... And do you have any suggestions for good gp per hour, that isn't crazy high PVM? Looking to get 1-2B in GP...
The single target bars in the video should work decently for kerapac/glacor. It might be a while before I can do a croesus guide but I'll keep it in mind. I did a bunch on a side project account I'm working on, so maybe I can include it in one of those videos when I release the series. I've heard rumors it's possible to revo afk rasial, but I haven't tested it enough myself yet- I'll look into it. For gp there are some great skilling methods like runecrafting, or you could try out afk kril or dag kings
what aura/pocket slot? i only get 920k xp/hr at beasts after about 30 hours of doing it lvl 110 and so do my friends...so im wondering how ur getting 1m? i use reaver vamp aura and wen book

Tuska hits slightly more than sacrifice, but if the healing from sacrifice is helpful then keep it over tuska

That's intended for the lower level bars. If you try out the level 80 bars you should have plenty of adrenaline
Using the t80 aoe bar u got i never have enough adren for the zombie.

i have vigour passive and coe, on your best aoe bar with death skulls. my adrenaline never builds high enough to proc it. i am always between 20-40% ?
You'll need the relentless perk to get skull procs. It should be pretty consistent after that

it does not proc to me either. I guess you need relentless, invigorating and fury of the small to work it properly
