About Creedence Clearwater Revival:
Creedence Clearwater Revival’s 1968 self-titled debut album introduced the world to guitar-playing brothers John and Tom Fogerty, drummer Doug Clifford, and bassist Stu Cook, four young men out of El Cerrito in the San Francisco Bay Area. Though they emerged in a place and time where trippy psychedelic visions were the order of the day, CCR bucked the trends and instead tapped into a rich, traditional seam of American music that connected to blues, country, rockabilly, gospel, folk and R&B.
During their short time together as a band (1968 - 1972), the band enjoyed an unparalleled period of creativity lead by singer, songwriter, arranger John Fogerty. They’ve sold close to 100 million records, releasing 14 Top 10 hits. They also managed to play over 150 tour dates around the world, including a headlining spot at Woodstock.
Creedence Clearwater Revival’s canon has become a part of the Great American Songbook. Fogerty penned songs like “Bad Moon Rising,” “Down on the Corner,” “Fortunate Son,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” “Proud Mary,” “Born on the Bayou,” “Travelin’ Band” and “Up Around the Bend” have been ingrained into pop culture - not just as rock staples, but as classic standards.
With so many memorable songs that continue to grace our radio waves, television and movie screens, plus lyrics that still resonate today, Creedence Clearwater Revival is, truly, America’s greatest rock ’n’ roll band.

Jesus Christ rose from the dead to give us eternal life in heaven and promised to heal your body. Just look up and ask Him.
It sneaks up on ya.
Shit I’m younger then most who grew up with them, still family did and my parents and I’ll be 38 next Saturday so I feel old asf just having grew up listening to music like this and other bands as well from the 60-80’s
Yeah and that's exactly why I like it.
My first cd I bought was ccr greatest hit. I am 33
You have good taste. It opens many doors. :)
Many times I've heard this song but heard it in a convenience store half way to Laguna.. from Las Vegas, on vacation with my parents and little brother. I was about 14... Wish I could go back❤❤
This will never get old!
Amen!❤ makes me cry every time.
I wish you could tell what's the memory of this song ma'am
Great classic ❤
song hits hard, it’s about life’s storms and learning to stand in them, reminds you that brighter days mean new chances to grow and achieve more. keep shining you beautiful people. x
what a good song
🔥🔥🔥
I bought my 80year old dad a CCR T-shirt and I have never seen a grown man so excited for a cheap band Tshirt. I'm gonna remember that forever.
Я тоже купила своей матери футболку с надписью СССР и она была рада😂
Ja, wir lieben einander, weil wir LIEBE sind Danke fürs Mitteilen ❤
This was a beautiful session.
Still till this day one of the most powerful live performances ever. The add lip from Valerie holiday is next level. Sheila's voice is so strong and the subtle choreography is on point as are the gowns. It's just perfection. ❤
ele e homem
Dad, I miss you when I hear this song. I remember the 68' Chevy Super Sport you had playing this music with the warm Southern California air flowing in. Thanks for the memories. Nobody can take that away.
PLEASE LISTENWhen the good Lord comes calling for youYour dad will be waiting at the gates and playing this song
I hope so 🙏 amen

First time seeing this artist
Welcome !
@TheOfficialCCRTell you a story about my 1st time hearing you. I was a teen working in a factory with some friends. It was snowing all day so one guy offered to drive us home after work. He had a really nice Toronado with front wheel drive that easily took us out of the deep snow covered lot. Once we settled in on the road he popped in a tape and CCR came on. I was already bugging him about what a cool car he had so as the music played I was trying to keep quiet. But after a couple minutes went by and the music was driving me crazy wanting to know who was singing. Finally I pointed to the stereo and blurted out "WHO IS THIS"...lol. The guy looks at me like I was crazy, both for not knowing and for how impatient I was to know the answer.
Loving your music ever since one snowy evening in the 1970's ❤
I replayed this song so many times the day my first dog, Max, died. I'll never forget him or the love we shared. This song always takes me back to that goodbye, everytime I heart it, my heart tightens.. It's such a beautiful, nostalgic song.
xoxo Max
awww rest in doggy heaven max ❤
John Fogerty as singer and songwriter: genius.

Hi bro it’s me ur gf
Now that I've ended a relationship, I've bought a motorcycle, I'll focus on myself, I'll go out driving on the roads of my region, alone in the company of this good music, which relaxes me, gives me peace, makes me think about who I am and what I want to be. I only feel sorry for my son, he is 10 years old, but what I like about him is that he has good taste in music, he likes this music and he tells me that he will accompany me on my routes listening to the music of the 80s, good rock, thank you son for existing in my life, I love you and I know that one day you will do the same, just as I taught you good music and to be a good man.
This is a 1971 song.

Hearing this song brings in such emotions... One way I envisioned a music video of this was that it takes place during a rainy day with the lead looking outwards from in the singer's home or on the porch, beginning to tear up as they reflect on their past and how much has changed overtime.
Still, this video here is the best for a song like this and using the Montana landscape is also perfect. I just wish we knew where in Montana they shot this.
Merci si Alaoui vous avez éveillé en Moi un passé merveilleux qui ne reviendra jamais.
